Ceekay212: shut d Bleep up bro........u guys claim 2 be the smartest in the country and I've always respected you guys 4 that.......I've lost all that respect since you scrotes decided to vote 4 this major asshole called buharia. Don't put the blame on the East side You must be suffering from malaria fever...considering the fact that d Yorubas had a son contesting, a large chunk still voted Atiku/Obi; a factor that was suppose to be an upset...but ur people in d East chose to stay indoors instead of voting massively for their son...Atiku is another disappointment on his own, he lost woefully in his own region. So tell me, how is it Yorubas' fault? The Yorubas delivered over 40% to Atiku...oh wait, were u expecting d whole of Yoruba race to abandon their own son and then support an Igbo guy who once insulted them? IMO, this loss is a self-inflicted one. |

I hope d outcome of elections in d SW would change d Igbos' impression about d people of d region...Yorubaland tried for Atiku/Obi, but it seems d SE sabotaged d process by themselves...I seriously was not expecting this poor turnout in the East...Plus Atiku was woeful at home too.
So d Yoruba nation don try for una o, despite d fact that we had a son contesting too. |

afroniger: Don't flatter yourself. Stop trying to change the narrative. Aside from Amosun himself, all his loyalists have all decamped to APM so there's nothing like 'Amosun'a APC'. Those that refused to decamp to APM all turned their backs on him and chose instead to stay put in APC. That is the real situation of things. afroniger: Akeredolu committed a big blunder by supporting AA candidates against his own party. In spite of this some APC candidates still won some seats in the state. Ditto Ogun. APC has already won 4 house of reps seats out of 9 declared so far in Ogun in spite of Amosun's APM. APC's abysmal showing in Ondo is a big disgrace and dent to Aketi's political leadership. Let me correct an impression...APC won 6 Rep seats, 3 of which are from Amosun's faction of d party...plus d one from APM; making 4. REPs Tinubu's APC-3 Amosn's APC-4 ADC-1 PDP-1 SEN Tinubu's APC 1 Amosn's APC 1 The 3rd, who is an ally of Amosun, is leading, but his election is still inconclusive. |

Politics › Re: Atiku Takes Wide Lead In Anambra by humberjade: 3:47pm On Feb 25, 2019 |
hucienda: Love the loyal defiance displayed in these numbers. Anambra delivered for Obi, even though he is the No. 2 in similar way Katsina delivered for Buhari.
The poor standing of Atiku in Adamawa and to an extent Osinbajo in Ogun is not impressive from a political standpoint. In the case of Atiku, it shows he is loved and despised at home in equal measure - and a consequence of that looks like an imminent loss. In the case of Osinbajo, it shows he has relatively no political clout and he cannot say he contributed anything politically to the apparently victorious ticket. That is a not a good bargaining chip in a "wetin you contribute sef" type of democracy Nigeria operates.
You don't need to be told how the emerging northern federal government would posture towards the SW. The SE are already used to it by now, so they would shrug and get on with it with indifference. The southern region that would benefit ironically from this all would be the SS. I didn't expect much from Osinbajo...imagine him claiming Ogun State, but lives and votes in Lagos...yet he wants to decide what happens in Ogun...it seems he lost his Senatorial District in Ogun sef. |
