So I guess it is now left for Ogun people to choose if they really want to continue to be sucked dry by the Bourdilon bugs. |

Nchenches: If all of Nigeria is truly fighting Boko Haram, in less than one week, Boko Haram shall flee from Nigeria, or all of them get killed. I agree with u totally. But unfortunately, we have allowed the political class divide us along religious and tribal lines...we hardly raise our voices or make any move without it being given a religious or tribal colouration. Only a United country can rise up to fight its oppressors, but Nigeria is badly and dangerously divided. Nchenches: Did someone not say fight against Boko Haram is like fight against northern Nigeria? As for this statement Buhari made while he was in search of this his infamous reign...I want to believe it was a stupid and shortsighted political statement...however clueless he maybe, he's not that stupid to come out to admit indirectly of being a member or sponsor of Boko haram. If you say he's cutting the Fulani herdsmen a lot of slack, I agree totally. And as for the security Chiefs he doesn't want to change that makes people believe he likes what is happening under his watch....Buhari is a very insecure fellow...He doesn't want to change his trusted men, so that what happened in Mali won't happen here. WhizdomXX: An apt view of exactly what we all know. Both camps have a large similar amount of supporters, with Obaseki holding a very slight edge due to the Benin metropolis. However, this edge isn't enough to withstand the rigging forces of the APC in place today. Of course, the PDP will equally rig, but with what happened to Wike yesterday, it's obvious they're being curtailed.
Personally, none out of the two are Edo's best choice, but as Nigerians will have it, they usually limit themselves to these two failed parties.
Kudos to Obaseki for fighting such a battle sha, against the odds.Congrats, if he suprisingly wins.
God bless Nigeria. Exactly |
Politics › Re: Edo 2020 Governorship Election Updates, Results And Live Monitoring by humberjade: 7:42am On Sep 19, 2020 |
Whosoever is expecting a credible election should go back to sleep...no matter how it plays out, Obaseki is gone.
God knows that I so much want Obaseki to win, but the truth on ground is that, APC will do everything to ensure they win. It is too obvious for the blind to see.
Plus the popularity of both candidates' camp is too close to call, hence, giving APC the edge to perfect their rigging strategy.
I pray I am wrong, but it is what it is people. With what transpired in Imo State, I have since lost hope in our electoral process.
With feelers from Edo, easily, Godwin would win a free and fair contest, but unfortunately, hmmm. |

It was a belief back in the GEJ days as President that he was clueless, but what is going on in this administration is way beyond cluelessness. Everybody in this administration just sleeps with their heads facing different directions...no common purpose whatsoever, everybody, every ministry in this administration is just doing its own thing...they try day in day out to outdo each other. Even in the same sector, different persons come out with different info on same issue. Corruption and flagrant disregard to the rule of law and the general wishes of the masses everywhere you go. And all of these boils down to the fact that there is no one in firm control of National Affairs. Even a scarecrow is better than who we supposedly have in the helm of Affairs today. As it is now, it is only the Nigerian masses that can join forces to rescue themselves from these Hyenas and Jackals. |
