last report from the meeting says reversion to 65naira is veyr possible while deregulation kicks off from april 1st but partial deregulation in phases though, to put the price of fuel at 120 but labour unions are saying first phase should put the price fuel at 90 naira per litre.

No doubt NLC is losing grounds . Before now, they were shouting over the roof top that NO NEGOTIATION until reversal of the subsidy removal. Now they are complaining that since they started the strike, the govt has not called them for negotiations. Furthermore, in all their iinterviews yesterday and today, they are 'appealing' to 'well meaning' Nigerians to talk to the President to reverse the price. Obviously they have started getting frustrated because in reality, govt officials, as individuals, have suffered nothing since the strike started. It is only the masses that are suffering and their sufferiing increases the more the strike continues.

i dont think there is any justifiable reason to shoot a real bullet even in riots where the miscreants are not armed,

i dont blame them, as much as we know that 2wrongs doesn't make a right but i think they've been pushed to the wall, If govt can not come to their aid instead remove oil subsidy then they should defend themselves

i don't think the burden of subsidy should be transferred to the citizens, teh govt has been borrowing money to feed 1bn annually, they should do same to fix our refineries
