signz:you are very right I could not agree more, talking about the bolded I think we should learn from the people of Japan who do not have any natural resources, the only thing natural in Japan is the people yet they've been able to make the country great, we need a technocrat who will not just build open gutter roads but also give directions to the people. |

I was born in sokoto after my birth my parents relocated to nassarawa, few years later dad passed on I was 5years old or thereabout when mum had a fatal motor accident that almost rendered her crippled for life so she lost the physical ability to cater for her three children we had to relocate to ibadan leaving mum behind to live with my late Dad's elder sister. I had my primary school education in ibadan, after primary school I moved to Lagos to stay with my uncle and start my secondary school education, for reasons best known to him he did not allow me complete secondary School I dropped out after the ss1 third term exam stayed with him for a few years and things did not go well between us so I left, my uncle is chronically insecure, proud and manipulative he always bragged about how he is the only hope I will ever have despite the fact that he doesn't have any plans for me, leaving his house is like jumping from frying pan to fire, but I will rather be in a fire of freedom than be in a frying pan of bondage life was tough we could barely survive mum had to cater for us with her petty trade selling plantains on the street, few years later she passed on . I was alone hungry, tired and sick, life was tough I could barely get a job with no skills, no education no nothing, it was so bad I applied for a security job in Abuja I was The best performing student in the written test they gave us but I was not accepted just because I could not validate the fact that I went to secondary school then I began to think about my life,if I could not get an ordinary security job what will I ever get? I tried I even went to block industries to beg for a job, went to many site to beg for Job as a laborer they will always tell me they were already complete. hmmm then I started wishing I was never born, I wanted to die, life is not worth it so I assumed, well somehow I came through, today I'm not yet a millionaire I can't even tell you I have the best life but I've conquered my demons . When others look back they see a chicken when I look back I see a lion. Have you ever contemplated suicide? If yes then gather here let's discuss life |
Educated people are educated they don't give a fu*c what society thinks about their actions as long as it gives them peace but uneducated people are afraid of critism and what will people say so they endure and suffer no matter how tough it is. If majority of Nigerians are educated do you think they will allow all this bullsh,t from the government? And That's by the way |

A Legendary Investor Just Predicted The End Of The U.S. Dollar — And Warned Over bitcoin The U.S. has imposed sanctions on Russia's banks, wealthy individuals and the country's central bank in recent weeks. As a result of these sanctions, some Russian oligarchs have turned to bitcoin, somewhat boosting the bitcoin price, while Russia itself has ramped up the long process of ending its reliance on U.S. financial companies. Now, the co-founder of the Quantum Fund and Soros Fund Management, Jim Rogers, has warned "what is happening with the U.S. dollar now is the end of the U.S. dollar"— but cautioning governments likely won't allow bitcoin to be used as an alternative. Rogers expects countries to start "look for a competitor" to the dollar, naming China, Russia, India, Iran, Brazil as all interested in reducing their dollar reliance. "The U.S. is the largest debtor nation in the world so, for fundamental reasons and political reasons, people are looking for competing currency," Rogers said.

There is this thing I observed whenever the discussion about the richest person in Nigeria comes up, igbos always argue that dangote is not the richest. So yesterday I was in the market with a group of guys, during our conversation somebody raised the topic of who the richest person in Nigeria is and I told them it's dangote, if you see the way they all attacked me I was shocked considering the fact that it is a very obvious answer,we started arguing so I asked them why they think dangote is not the richest man in Nigeria the only answer they gave was that dangote plc belongs to a group of people and not aliko so I explained how public liability companies work and how dangote is the richest man they still insisted so I asked them who they think is the richest person in Nigeria they started mentioning the names of many igbo business men whose networth is not even billion dollar rated so I insisted they give me a name and a figure none of them came up with a specific name they ended up turning everything into quarrell and insults, I've observed this attitude amongst my fellow igbos on different occasions that's why I am asking this question is it intentional ignorance or deep ignorance ![]() |
One employee, who was hired by Tesla in 2015 through a recruiting agency, had to hear derogatory words about him, such as "go back to Africa" and face racist graffiti in toilets and on his desk. A few days ago, his lawyer claimed that the case was only won because Diaz hadn't signed one of Tesla's binding arbitration agreements. These agreements require employees to resolve disagreements behind closed doors, rather than bring them up for public discussion.

Kobojunkie:Nigerian girls don't believe in equality they believe in entitlement |
chatinent:how many Nigerian girls do you know? |
I met this girl on Instagram she had a nice figure, very beautiful,so I sent her a direct message, and we got talking. she was so respectful and responsible on chat. And since I already liked her, I was really ready to take her home to my mum. But when I took her home and she met my mum ,she didn't kneel to greet, so I tried to cover up for her. My mum went to the kitchen to make food for us, but she didn't follow her. She sat on the chair comfortably, waiting for her to bring food to us. I was already starting to get pissed off but I had to keep my cool and not embarrass myself in front of my mum.when the food was ready, we went to the dinning table to eat. But after eating, she couldn't even say thank you. I didn't hold it in anymore. I immediately told her to get out. After a few hours, she called and asked why I disgraced her like that. I replied that she doesn't have respect only for her to respond ' I'm a feminist, so I choose what I want to do.' I just hissed ,hung up and blocked her. She didn't even understand what feminism was and I don't think I'll ever go out with a Nigerian girl claiming to be a feminist because most of them don't know what it means. #copied. So guys is the girl just stupid, arrogant or is this what feminism is all about? |

No matter how you see Elon Musk, you cannot deny that the techs he is bringing to the market are worth our attention. His EVs are the most technically advanced; his rockets are flying to space and come back; his satellites will soon provide internet coverage all over the globe - the list may go on and on. Yesterday, Tesla had its annual AI Day. Among other highlights, there was an outstanding one. Tesla is building a humanoid robot, the Tesla Bot, which it expects to bring to the market as early as 2022. There are not many details yet, and I will try to cover everything we know. Elon Musk envisions a world where human routine like grocery shopping, "the work that people least like to do," can be taken over by humanoid robots like the Tesla Bot. The bot is 173 cm high (5 feet 8 inches), weighs 57 kg (125 pounds), can deadlift 68 kilograms (150 pounds), walk at 18 km per hour (5 mph), and has a screen for a head that displays important information. "It is intended to be friendly, of course, and navigate a world built for humans," said Musk. "We are setting it such that at a mechanical and physical level, you can run away from it and most likely overpower it." It is a critical feature for all of us who are afraid of being beaten by a robot that has had enough, right? The bot is a non-automotive robotic use case for the Tesla work on neural networks and its Dojo advanced supercomputer. Arguably, Tesla is the biggest robotics company because its cars are like robots on wheels. "With the Full Self-Driving computer, [ … ] which will keep evolving, and Dojo and all the neural nets recognizing the world, understanding how to navigate through the world, it kind of makes sense to put that on to a humanoid form," Musk said. I think it is too early to be very excited and imagine buying a robot in a store and have it wash your dishes. Advanced robots are being around for decades (for example, Honda's Asimo), and still, there is a long way to go before a future in which physical work would be a choice. #copied #techcrunch
