NFF To Sign Sponsorship Deal With NB PLC
by Editor on January 29, 2018

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Nigerian Breweries PLC will on Feb 9 sign a sponsorship agreement in Lagos.

Ademola Olajire, Head of Communication of NFF, said in a statement on Monday that it would be a “ remarkable sponsorship agreement. ’’
It said that NFF President Amaju Pinnick was “ excited and fulfilled ” to seal the agreements with Nigerian Breweries PLC.

“ Nigerian Breweries is an organisation that has been a torchbearer of excellence and corporate social responsibility for the several decades it has operated in Nigeria, ” the statement added.
The Pamodzi Sports Marketing Company, a marketing agent for NFF confirmed that the initial contract is for a period of five years with an option for renewal.
The Chief Executive of the company, Mike Itemuagbor, said that such sponsorship deals are good for the development of football in Nigeria.

“This is a very good deal for the NFF and the National Teams. Nigerian Breweries PLC is committing a huge sum to this sponsorship agreement.
“ But the more important aspect is the activation of the contract, which the company has an unrivalled pedigree in doing and which it is committed to doing with this contract as well.
“ Pamodzi is happy to be the sponsorship agency to this worthy alliance.

“ Nigerian Football is on the upswing and Nigerian Breweries PLC remains a formidable establishment always looking to improve on the satisfaction it gives its customers while remaining committed to lofty corporate social responsibility initiatives,” he said.

lemme run it down for you.

We are arguing about CFs. I told Safarigirl that a striker can have a bad game even though he scored in that game and tbaba1234 said once a striker scores it automatically turns to a good game therein Goldfish80 pointed out Okpotu's performance yesterday. So the bottomline is that I was using Iheanacho generally as an example, please and please I never compared his match against Peterborough with Okpotu's match against Angola, I mean come on, one scored two good goals and could have a hattrick but one barely scrambled the ball in. However if you want me to bring up a game in which Iheanacho scored but still wasn't brilliant then I will but I wasn't talking about Peterborough, thank you very much.
your argument is still not spot on...
a striker can have a bad game when he fails to convert lot of his goal scoring chances...not really because he never registered his presence on the field of play....

take a look at okputu yesterday...he could only utilize one out of about 6 goal scoring opportunities he had...

that is in the negative....
regarding benzema in Madrid...should you understand why Madrid never signed saurez, abumenyang then you will get the reason why benzema still plays....

C. Ronaldo and the board are very comfortable over that...provided they have a player in the ranks who could comfortably challenge a Barcelona player for the ballon d'or and highest goal scorer award and benzema seems to be privy to that quest...being that he play to Ronaldo strength and abilities...

Mickael2:
it is actually funny because I know humility was bashing the team and Okpotu even though he scored but now I said Iheanacho has scored in the CF role without really performing and the narrative has changed to 'any striker that scores played well'. I don't exactly have time for such arguments sha, it's quite clear
how many goal scoring opportunities...did Nigeria Benzema (okputu) misplaced yesterday? compare it wit nancho fumbling against Peterborough...and tell me if they're both on the same scale....

after all I never denied I criticized yusuf...

so why the fuss....?
rohr learnt from the south Africa mistake and has since make up for it...

Eh but sebi they say he is 23.

If players like Iheanacho, Iwobi, Ndidi, Awaziem, Ebuehi, Aina are still work in progress. They and Okpotu are in there early 20s na. Then there is hope for Okpotu for 2022 WC.
I told someone I was watching the match wit...that okputu is just 23 years old...

he shouted immediately...
*those npfl players and their age sha...I get no trust for them.....

anyway I pray he gets a good deal abroad...his next coach may likely deploy him as a winger....or even SS...

all he need do is try put his shot on the ground and not on the air....
thereafter he works on his ball positioning...

But you know we have to reward their hardwork naaa. Hahaha
it boils down to the tactical nature of our clubs in the npfl....
okputu with so physical prowess...by now should have been worked upon and developed had it been he was privilege to be born abroad....

so unfortunate such a huge talent cannot really be harnessed....and now some want rohr to start doing what his club coaches and teams he ever played for...fail to do all this while....

it is grossly impossible...

you want me commend a team so wasteful in front of goal...but you withheld yours from a young lad....trying to prove himself in England....
I doubt if any of your favorite in this team will make Peterborough reserve team

please you can give yours to the CHAN team and let me give mine to nancho....

Any team that equalized a game with about 1 minute to the end of 90 and eventually won in extra time deserves commendation.
I find it funny you are making this statement knowing fully well that you went out of your way to defend the main team and Rohr when they lost to South Africa. You even went ahead to blame Salisu instead of the man in charge. I recall this very well because I was the one who mentioned you to stop.
and what makes them ply that route If not for their wastefulness in front of goal...had we convert out chances....we won't have gone through that suffering....

they missed clear goal scoring chances...and you want me commend them...for that...

is it not clear that yusuf lack tactical input in his coaching prowess....?
you as an individual opportuned to coach this team...will you keep playing okputu as CF?
what advise does he have to offer rohr....?

if him and agu were that competent don't think the German will have need for so many foreigners working wit him.
