I acknowledged that but all i'm saying is that it would be most ideal to focus on developing the player. Don't forget that a lot also depends on the coaching. For example, Abdu Maikaba has been doing a great job in player development.
developing the player in what sense...?
osaguona who spent several years in the npfl only to travel to Europe could not meet up and there after return to north Africa...and likewise many others....including Ezekiel bassey who could not even cope in Barcelona B team..
but say...a young player like a teenager will manage to cope as it will require them to begin the training process and shaping all over...being a young lad...he can be tailored quickly...

I believe the npfl is a league any player shouldn't be comfortable wit...it should be a stepping stone for a better club...in Europe where players can be better tutored in the rudiment of football..

those coaches I see in the npfl many of them know nothing...
I once watched...ogbeide talk in ITV before the the presenter....that he does not watch epl or any other foreign foptbal club...and this is a man who was coaching warri wolves as at then.....

just to tell you....how dull some of this coaches are....little wonder I will say...the npfl don't just like infrastructural facilities...but also human resources....
because many of this coaches...don't understand the scientific nature of the round leather game...many won't even pass...should an exam be set for them.

Until these clubs develop quality structures that equates with the ones in Europe, I don't think we should have much hope on these lads.
exactly...leave him and let him keep talking shadows...
as if the nancho, success, ndidi, onazi ever played in the npfl....
players should leave for a club wit good football academics and career progression when the opportunity comes....

no need to keep wasting away in the npfl..week in week out....

If all u want is Europe u are even opening the door wider for exploitation of our players. football is all about greed so let us not lie to ourselves. Why should a player be deceiving themselves in Romania or something all in the name of playing in Europe.
that Romania have a better football college than Nigeria...
it is the truth...better academics and league...well organised and structured.

or you wanna doubt it?

Honestly, the most impressive Nigerian player for me this season is Ndidi. He has really improved his game.

Though I didn't see the first half today but from what I saw in the second half today, it is very clear Iheanacho enjoys playing from the deep. He doesn't like being isolated upfront.

In the match he scored two goals, there was something he did that really confirmed his confidence has been restored. It was the ball he tapped up before smatching a shot that was goal bound but blocked.

That was captivating to say the truth.

Now, this what I am talking about. You must play well before going to Russia and now that he is playing well. EOD.

I really thank Rohr for declaring he would only take players playing regularly for their club to Russia. Hehehehe,!

That statement gave my players hope to fight for shirt.
And that is the reason Success, Ujah, Ideye, Etebor and Musa fast fast go look for club. grin

Now, this is interesting. grin
I tell you bro...very interesting...unlike before when they can easily make man to man settlement in kind...

they know.....that the surest way to make the list for the world cup party is to earn it...

Funny enough, we have always had players directly from the Local league play for the NT even when the league was worse off than what we presently have and some of them actually did well.

I bet its because we now have access to options outside the league, hence the reason we think all at home are totally bad.

Stephen Odey that just moved last year might end up in the NT within 2 years (just for changing location), might not have been different from the Odey but let me stop here for now. after the world cup, i will bring up this issue again.
better....after the world.cup bring up the issue.....
from what I have watched so far...besides the goal keepers...none is capable of laying hold to a starting shirt in the SE first 11....

where we have the league....ndidi rose all the way from an academy in Lagos to Europe and today no npfl player can match his abilities...same wit nancho and others...
just few years they have spent in European football colleges they've improved so much....
let alone the likes of Moses, iwobi etc who all their lives..right from tender age..undergo grooming in this football academics...none of our Chan players can play better than iwobi even though they may be older in age...
but the young lad have been groomed, tutored and harnessed to bring out his best...

same process should our Chan players go through...the npfl coaches have really done nothinh to groom this guys..
let them get good clubs in Europe that will school and polish them to suit the need of the round leather game....before we talk of them making the 23 man party to Russia...

you tell me the inclusion of the Chan players in the world cup party for Qatar 2022 I will understand...not Russia 2018.

Sentiments? sorry read again, nothing like sentiment in what i have said so far, i asked for those who have performed well, then asked if it was possible some of these "outstanding" ones from the lot get invited to the upcoming friendlies. so where is the "sentiment" here?
on what performance...will they sneak into the super eagles?

so far...none of them besides the goal keepers will easily get a look in....

you don't go on trying to carve a reason for the inclusion of Chan players in the world cup party...simply because you're an npfl fan...

the national team job are for competent legs...and not the case where sentiment thrives...

Unlucky Nigeria Duo Hit Woodwork Three Times In Leicester City's Loss To Everton
Published: February 01, 2018

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi was awarded a relatively low mark after a mixed fortune performance against Everton in their Premier League clash on Wednesday evening.
The 21-year old who made his 25th league appearance for the Foxes at Goodison Park rattled the crossbar with a decent header ten minutes into the game but failed to build on his early promises as the game wore on though he was on hand to force a penalty from Wayne Rooney which allowed Claude Puel's side to pull one of the goals back.

Leicester Mecury's Rob Tarner described his performance on the night as below par from what he has been churning out for the Foxes this season.

"Hit the bar early on but not as effective on the ball as in recent weeks", Tarner wrote on Leicester Mercury.

His compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho who replaced Demarai Gray 15 minutes from time was equally less lucky as he hit the woodwork twice after coming on.

The six points out of ten he got alongside most of his teammates the likes of Jamie Vardy, Marc Albrighton, Shinji Okazaki and Harry Maguire was one of the least he has garnered this campaign.
Leicester would welcome Swansea to the King Power Stadium on Saturday when they would be looking to bounce back to winning ways.

Rohr just need to give all our keepers chance to prove themselves,on Ajiboye am not surprised with his performance cos have been saying it that Ajiboye and Uzoho I watched against Guinea and Girona respectively are better than Ezenwa and Akpeyi.
uzoho, ajiboye should.be the first 2 goalie to make the Russia trip...

hope ajiboye prove better against Morocco in the final...that will ignite rohr's heart.

I even questioned Agu's credentials based on the performance of our goalies.

Thank God this match has opened our eyes to a lot
rohr need to stay far away from that man..I think he is a bad influence on his career...

a coach that can hide such a good goal keeper from being noticed...while we all are crying and searching for a good goal keeper to replace Vincent and ikeme.
agu went to hide him from shining.....

I don't know is mission but I am very scared of him henceforth.
