I wouldn't mind Etebo getting a run but u don't want to split up the winning team.
forget it..

the 23 players all in camp are in the winning team...
any player can do the damages...the difference that day was the presence of players like mikel, Moses and Leon..
these players have the potentials in making every players in the team play their best...
so etebo in the field today will do just well just like Moses would have done...

to be honest...had it been nwakeme was in the game on Friday...same goal nacho scored I believe he would have score too...
though I appluad nacho for his positioning

So he should have been invited to also come in and do nothing abi?
yeah...he will get to know the players and familiarize wit the team
simply doing that..means we have gotten him...just like ebuehi
I doubt if the unity and team work in the SE presently will not convince any player to pick Nigeria
aina said that play a huge role in convincin him

Belgium have qualified for the WC, a call up for dessers could be in place, I hope Nigeria gets him first
I think he should have been called in place of that Aaron Samuel...
who came in and did nothing....
inviting some of these players even though they may not get to play gives them a sense of belonging..
someone need to educate rohr on that

It's about creating a long term approach of engagement well before they are even noticed by England. Show love and you get love back.

All these boys are Naija boys they probably can dance Shoki better than you.

The biggest problem is hungry coaches and NFF officials looking for inducement. That's really turns both parents and players off. These guys have no idea of settlement mentality and again similar already on 10k a week they are not desperately hungry. So may not agree to the rubbish.

To be honest I remembered being at Tottenham with the U18's when Ehiogu was there as well as Tega Onomah and they all consider themselves as Naija first.

I reiterate the issue is how we engage them over the long term not just when they start to BLOW.
I think you're very right...
we really need a good scouting network and morever since the arrival of rohr...these pady-pady means of players invitation tend to have reduced

Shut your mouth, you nothing! In this age and time where stadia are have all stands covered this one has a very tinny portion covered. What is the difference between this stadium and any other stadia in a village in Nigeria. A pitch that every visiting team kept complaining about it poor condition but wasn't sanctioned because Issa Hayatou heldd sway. There are a bunch of Ignorant people on Nairaland
seriously they're alot of ignorant people on nairaland....
picture of awka ibom, liberty stadia in port Harcourt and Abuja stadia all will show more beautiful than this...

I remember super sport posting the pictures of awka ibom stadium on Facebook and many southern Africans were commenting on how beautiful the staduim was...

Leads has nothing to teach Ovie, he will walk straight into thier first team. He needs a footballing side that plays on the deck.

It was Leeds that sent Barkley back to Everton that he's not good enough,.when he went on loan at 19yrs old.

Fulham, Derby are better options for his development.
probably the coach then will be different from the one they've now...and you know what that means...a new philosophy and playing pattern...
so I think...he gonna get play time there and that's good for his development...
pinnick need to intensify effort convince him play for nigeria...
hopefully aina switch may work on nff effort too....

sir..how do you see spurs..team enlisting 8 players of Nigeria origin in their epl squad for the season....
do we stand any chance wit those guys especially the one that has a german heritage too

It's shocking Nwakaeme is competition for Iheanacho(at least in this forum). Iheanacho is light years ahead and has 8 goals in 12 appearance(9 starts) for Nigeria and he is only 21.
bro relax...no one is writing off nacho
everyone is comsiderin the nature of the opponents we're facing and their style of play....
nacho will definitely get some minutes of action...moreover the dude is classy he needs just few minutes to prove himself in every match...he plays.

Looolll.... Sir Sunday..... You know the ref pretty well... Honestly I am counting on that guy being firm with those diehard Camerounians.

Nwakaeme or Nacho... but let Nwakaeme start. Nacho didn't have a big preseason... he is still working his way back into full fitness and better sharpness... so the more reason to start Nwakaeme.

But Simon did great in Uyo and His good center of gravity gives him an edge too.

In all shaa..... I expect a good game and a positive result for the Super Eagles.
etebo can as well start in place of Simon..
he has the skills and tricks too

I pray you come out of it. It can be difficult to accept that something that was once a really big part of your life is now becoming a memory.

It is very important to grab a tissue and talk about it to people you can confide in...it does help us to heal and ease the burden. ....never ever be ashamed to talk of any emotional trauma.......or isolate yourself.. the whole world goes through it one way or the other....build a social life and do more things with friends...be close to family and friends.....it takes off the worry.......
please are u a guy?

True ...but....Identifying the difference between love and infatuation can be a good start in sorting out your emotions

If single ...........> They run from one girl to another ... they never build a well rooted relationship with any girl....always infatuated *quickly in love and quickly out of love*.....usually very smart.

Imagine ........you have not even had your first fight lol....you think that the person is perfect.....you have a high expectation of them....and get bored later...then look for another girl .. start another relationship......once it ends..... you start to feel vulnerable again......then you continue cheating ...........by looking for replacement........and turn to a serial cheater. .you keep running back to your girl friends to fill the gap.....till you find another girl.

Such ladies or men ..........that hangs on to the cheater are .....Gap fillers ........The cheater or time wasters......will never stay faithful to them... the cycle will continue.....in the end the cheater might dump them.

The cheaters are usually people that cannot sort out their emotions or problems in their lives or relationship.....Instead of addressing the problems in their relationship ......They feel they are lacking something..... and always look for what they feel is missing in their spouses or partner ...in another person as a result becomes infatuated or obsessed and think they are falling in love with that person.....It could be sexual..material...social....looks....status...greed....jealousy etc..... it will be short lived ... and they move on to the next person.......while they still hang on to that spouse or partner..

For example ...if you dont like your partners dressing ..way of life... bedmatics ...address it ... instead of moving on to the next person.....If they are poor or you dont like their looks let them go...

The partner need to let them go...so they could move on too...or keep getting hurt.... the signs are there......
Some will keep doing it and begging ......not realising they have problems. They need help , counselling .....or reality check.
thanks...for this...
I am really going through emotional trauma right now...

enlisting 6 players of Nigeria descent on their 2017/2018 epl sqaud...

it's like...nigerians are taking over football in Europe...
all academics in Europe especially in England..we have talents all over...
I think the nff really have much to do....getting the best ones play for us and at the same time groom youngsters here in Nigeria

I like the way you put it concerning Echiejile....and yes Ola did say he is much more comfortable as a RB/RWB than at LB/LWB.... he plays both roles well... but does one much better.

I see Echiejile starting too. We would be facing a huge crowd of Angry and revenge-seeking Camerounian fans who will wanna sew us lose by all means. I don't want Aina to crack under the pressure of trying to impress on his debut. Echiejile will start... unless... wink

Our team helped Echiejile and covered for his deficiency when it comes to pace but his experience is invaluable and he is still a fine baller... his ball controls still rock. wink

In the long run... I think Rohr should focus on getting/scouting more LB options... to "understudy" Echiejile (understudy is the decoy term here) but actually to be an upgrade on Echiejile in the long run...

Jordan comes to mind if we can get him.... uhmmm... Josh Debayo isn't proven yet... and Komekn's Sheyi Ojo... well... maybe he should be looked at too... since he plays LWB now I think...

Another matter is Mikel's long term replacement... Kelechi Nwakali comes to mind.... I would also add Ovie Ejaria if we can get him too.

Could say so much but lemme not leave the present and gobtoo far ahead into the future... we have a game in less than 25hrs from now. A game we must not lose.... at least for our WCQ unbeaten run's sake. grin
I believe if we play out cards well...
we can still get ejaria....
all pinnick need do...it to get in touch wit his parents.....
and for....Aina in place of elderson...
I don't think that will be a big deal...
the young lad....can man up not forget...
they might have still not recover from the stress and play of the last match...
*fatigue

I see Cameroon coming at us with full force. I still do not know what Broos thought when he pressed us high. That was a disaster approach. Even more surprising that Rohr expected it.

May be the South African loss created an illusion that we were weak. I expect Cameroon to come all out again and agree we should adopt the same approach. We should exploit gaps created when the press and send a dagger to their hearts with accurate counters.
I really think that ighalo first goal...really made the Cameroonians to rush out on us...
and they got more than they deserve
