I dey tell you! It's actually not a must to support the Eagles with their kinda low or no Confidence in the Team.

Some Dudes need to bounce off this noble thread and allow the real Fans to discuss better Plans for the Team.
bless you brother....
I was even expecting us beat the Cameroonians on their home soil...
I know what the SE can do....and their potentials
So come October we will qualify

Even billionaires love to brag about their broke days, wealth doesn't spring overnight like a stream except you are into shady ish, wealth is built over time, it takes a smart woman to recognize a billionaire in the making, for those looking for the ready made product, it hardly lasts. Nigerian women have never been lazy, far from it, a Nigerian woman loves a man that has a plan
you're spot on....
thanks

Look at what this op is saying. This is a country where the minimum wage is N19000. 2 million people recently applied for Npower( may be the op is part of them too). So if a woman wants to live a decent life then she should fold her arms and wait for a man ?. What if the man drop dead or loose his job ?. just because you are privileged to have a good job doesn't mean you should look down on other people. you don't know what tomorrow will bring your way
these words are filled with wisdom...
thanks....

All we need against the Zambians is a Draw, then H2H Rule gonna see us straight away to the Mundial.

I really don't know why Dudes are panicking..... are we really ready for the Tourney?! Seem Dudes are only interested in Eagles Appearance in Russia and ain't care about their potential Performances.

If we are jittery of facing a Zambia Team on our Home Turf, how do we expect the Team to fair against Top Teams in the World Cup?!

I was perplexed with the negative Comments Dudes are making after the Zambia Match! Why Nigerians are like this?! We have the upper Hand than any Other African Teams to feature in the World Cup, yet we are shivering like a malaria infested Patient.

We should learn to be confident and appreciate what we have. If we are scared of Zambia, then no need to disgrace ourselves in Russia - it's better we crash out now and enjoy other Teams while playing with Confidence in the Tourney.
bro...some even predicted Nigera loosing to cameroon in uyo

Trying to tell me all girls slay ?
dear friend...
as a lady be plain to a guy...
a reasonable guy will treat you wit respect
only a foolish one will take you for granted
I remember a lady I once meet...told me plainly...she accepted me because she likes me and she does not do so for everyone...
and please I should not take her for granted ....

that night my heart was cold...
I treated her the way she desires...with so much respect and love not only because she wasn't hard for me to get....but because she was very straightforward and told me all she wanted....

I pray the woman of dreams...play same card..
she will definitely lack nothing from me
many a time when ladies play hard to get...
after the guy's being able to get them...
he begin or later get to know that she never really worth the Chase or stress reason because...apart from sex she has nothing else to offer him...
even players know a queen when they see one....

yeah that too. buh this another different whole topic from the main topic except it got values attached to it. and mind u not all guys think in that direction, nt with this present generation that some guys believe it just sex in a relationship and nothing more

talking about the main topic, some guys still do that believe me, when u just give in quickly the tends to think otherwise, not all of em tho

nd mind u em just giving my views on why i think some girls still do so. nothing personal here.
Yeah...you're right.
some persons like things being difficult
but definitely someone like me will easily loose interest
I find ladies who makes things easy for me....irresistible and I love them more....

Well, it's a kinda still necessary

if they dont play hard to get some guys tends to look down on them or label them as cheap girls
what makes you valuable as lady...
is not by how hard to get you played...
or the stress you puts him through...
but the value you will be being into that relationship....
will your presence in his life...impact him positively...push him achieve his goals and likewise a man...

I have seen guys respect their ladies or husband repect their wives reason because of the impact she made in his life...

Expect Echiejile to start the next Match too. However if we secure the Ticket in the next Match, then expect to see Ebuehi and Aina as RB and LB respectively.
let's get to field them asap...

Ezenwa had no business going for that ball like that. Inexperience.

But it would not have mattered if we had taken our chances. It was an off-day for Moses. He was too casual and should have done better.

We got punished for our lack of 'clinicalness'.
exactly that ighalo and Moses miss..

on ezenwa @ i believe the hired goal keeper trainer will spend time trash that with him...in case of next time

I wouldn't blame the Coach for playing him ahead of Aina and Ebuehi too. He has seen him play for the SE and what we need at the moment is Experience not Experiment.

I think next time Aina might be considered
I see those two Aina and Ebuehi as players who are raring to go...
any little opportunity they seize and wont let go

I believe our initial target on this thread was 4 points, was it not? 4-0 kind of messed with our heads, else, I don't see why anyone should complain.

We planned to take a maximum of 4-points and we did....job well done to the entire team, we're on course
I understand...
just that had it been Moses scored that goal or ighalo net his...it would have neutralize the Cameroonians
well they tried and I proud of them...
hopefully we settle scores against Zambia in October and register our name in the forthcoming world cup proper

Except we hate seeing him in the Team, he's the best we've got as a RB at the moment. They tried to attack through his wing, he frustrated the Hell out of them.

They switched to the LB.... Oh Lawd, Echiejile was a sour to the Eyes. He was skinned and feat on by the Cameroonian Winger. Thanks to Onazi who was covering for him and Balogun who's ready to face the next Challenge.
elderson's wing was the loophole in the defense...
I just don't understand him

Ogu has a very good passing range, reads the game well, has composure and the physicality needed for this game.

My concern is he lacks mobility is far from fast and is very defensive minded and struggles to go quickly from defensive to attack. He could get over run in fast paced midfield.

Onazi and Ndidi showed thier quality and discipline and quick thinking and the ability to go from defence to attack.

I expect us to have a counter attack approach when Cameroon Behind forward all guns blazing gung-ho, leaving space at thier rear for is to capitalise on.

I wouldn't change the team but would see if Echiejile improves. If he doesn't and is continously the weak link I would consider bringing in Aina.

Like to see Etebo come in at one stage and for sure I doubt if Ighalo can last the 90 minutes with hamstring strain. In that case let's see Nwakeme he is hungry and angry let him loose on Cameroon.
spot on....

Yes, we could see that the Cameroonians could not cause much damages to the defenses of those top teams in the world during the confederations cup because of their well-drilled defense, they even had good defensive mechanisms/techniques in defending against aerial threats from the Cameroonians, despite the Cameroonian "advantageous" physicality.
yeah you're right....
to be honest winning the world is out of Africa reach for now...

I just re-watched that Moses's goal and I observed that the ball slightly went pass one of the Cameroonians on its way to the net. If the same ball was played against any of the top teams like Spain and Germany their defenders would have made some slides to block the ball. Mikel almost scored against Spain in the 2013 confederations cup but he was denied by the sliding effort from Ramos, and I can also recall how he was also denied a goal by a slide too after dribbling about two players against Germany in the recent Olympics semi-final. what I am saying is that African players find it difficult to throw their bodies in making slides when an opponent is taking a shot in the 18 yard box. they prefer to stand to defend a ball that is heading towards goal instead of throwing the whole body in sidling. Even that Ighalo's goal could have been blocked by the defender in front of him if he made a quick slide. Nigerian defenders should never underestimate the importance of sliding especially in the world cup proper should in case Nigeria gets to qualify. so far I'm impressed with Balogun's slide-tackles.
yeah...you're right
I think these quality I have seen only in Leon recently, mikel does too then at chelsea
many rarely do these...that's why we keep seeing dearth of Africa defenders in too European clubs...
