The fact is U-17 boys hardly graduate to U20. U13 to U17 -- great.

Nigeria is still jinxed at the U20 level. I think realistically we have done excellently at the U17 level in 2013 and 2015 considering that those were the youngest side we ever fielded.

Modified.
The problem is we don't know why we still chase foreign based players today. Where are Nigeria's best doctors, Engineers etc. The fact is MOST are abroad. By technocracy we are not talking about your book knowledge but your applied knowledge -- an elite of technical experts. Same applies to Football and so many other spheres of Nigerian life. Which is why if we keep having bad leadership it's going to affect many things that we do. I posted a graph yesterday of our population increase compared to other African countries, and nobody commented. If Nigeria's population is about 70% of the entire Africa and our growth rate is also alarming, that means we should dominate almost everything in Africa. In fact we should dominate football in Africa especially, because we have always put all our focus on football. But that's far from the case.

It's unfortunate. The problem is when people think our problems demands an an easy fix -- graduating U13 boys all the way to U20. We always want short cut solutions. It doesn't happen like that in reality. Short cut solutions only bring short-term success.

Until our league and in fact the structure of our football development from Primary school level to University level is improved greatly, we won't be able to churn out stars in a regular basis. This is what separates us from the like of Germany. These countries don't put too much effort in winning under aged tournaments like we do.
I was opportune to have a discussion wit one of the nff too personality during preceding week....
he revealed to me....on how the under 15 will travelling for some football matches...
I asked him..how about the youngsters just discovered from the immediate past under 15 NPFL promise tournament...
he laughed it off...
telling me they're too old...
I tried convince him but he told me....they're the ones there...they know what's playing around...
I wasn't happy and I felt they should be need to integrate both talents...create a large pool of players to pick from...
I think what will help grow our youngsters is the restructuring and improved management of the domestic league....
It should js structures to absolve young players....and if possible the clubs be reduced to attain efficiency and effectiveness....private individuals and coys should wade into the management of these clubs...

shocked

It's not true.
A girl can not live on 1500 a month

A woman has no reason to be broke,
She obviously didn't put her resources to good use.

She is even very privileged as handicapped girls charge more for short-time because shagging them gives goodluck.
please how can I give you sense...please
even the devil will love give you some....

not politics my brother...
you those two pair of coaches....salisu yusuf and agu they're the most fortunate Nigeria coaches reaping where they have never sown....
especially yusuf....what was his achievement in the NPFL prior his appointment as the assistant coach of the national team?

at least many criticizing rohr will begin to see....that even his assistant is as guilty as well....
and to think that some of us here....were advocating for yusuf to be given SE job beats my imagination

don't mind them jare. The painful part is that such attitude mask their potentials in the early stage of their careers.

The pissing part is that Nigerian players get satisfied easily as long as they are professional player.

These guys need to be hungry! Hungry for more-that's the only way to stay top and ahead of one's peer.
I remember some words of Babatunde Michael sometime ago....
shortly after he signed for Raja Casablanca of Morocco...
he openly said...the extra 2-3 hours he spent daily on individual training is paying off...and such was the reason for his eye catching displays...
and truly the dude was playing well then...good assists and goal scoring improvements....
to my surprise...he only end signing for a team in Qatar...probably the smell of the arab money attracted him there....
the reason for the story is to tell that....individual training and extra efforts pays....
few footballers I have always come across....I always tell them this...if they must reach the zenith of the career they must be disciplined and go the extra mile to grow and develop themselves in the round leather game...

they lack ambition and this make them loose focus when they start receiving enough cash to take them and their family outta poverty.

Immediately an african signs for an European club. Their is this 'I've ARRIVE' Mentality that will definitely kick in and this often affect their development...
exactly
I have watched some clips on Ronaldo individual personal training and I have gone ask myself....why won't he be the world best. its like in school...where some students put more individual effort in their academic pursuit than others (reading extra hours etc) and as such it pays off

Etebo started at the arrowhead of attack for Feirense away to Moreirense. The Feirense number 10 lasted till two minutes of extra time.
And guess who was in goal. No, who was in bench as Feirense's reserve keeper? Your guess is good as mine -- promotion.

Final scores: 0-0
hope alampasu maintain that starting bath...
hopefully he mans the post against Cameroon....

Kayode signed a 4 year deal with Man City but will spend the first year on loan at Girona. I believe, he needs to set La liga alight if he wants a shot at the Man city first team.
the problem I have wit pep.. is that he can never be pleased...
he is someone that can never be impressed...

You purchase a player for 25million pounds and you don't expect him to hit the ground running.

His years of apprenticeship are over. Arsenal expects Lacazette to start delivering and he has done so, Liverpool expects Mohammed Salah to start delivering and he has done so. Manu expect Lukaku to hit the ground running likewise Morata for Chelsea.
A 25 million pounds player should hit the ground running.
so how has nacho not delivered?
the boy has barely played a full 90 mins....with an assist to his name...
how many minutes did lukaku played before he bagged in a goal...ikewise lacazette
please stop trying to exonerate yourself thinking nacho is going to flop Leicester.

even messi and Ronaldo will find it difficult to cope with that leicester kind of play

I still remember kanu swift pass to utaka...and okocha well taken free kick...
if we must beat Cameroon...we must learn play differently and bring something new to the table....
the likes of mikel...Moses, balogun should be wisely used....not allowed to burn out in uyo....

Musa yesterday would have offered a lot more than Mahrez but when you have a guttless coach that's what you get
the problem wit these English coaches is unique...when used as interim coaches they tend to do very well....Tom showerword comes to mind former coach of spurs who took over from villa boss....
but as soon as their appointment are approved as coaches of these teams...
they begin to misbehave...
one thing I like about the management of these clubs...is their swiftness sacking these coaches.....
should the poor run from pre season continues he will definitely be axed.

the coach is just what he is, a rookie and I never appreciated this move at all! West Ham would have been better, why move to a team with a poor coach? I honestly hope this does not affect Iheanacho. The fact that Mahrez played the entire 90minutes shows just how poor this their coach is, and don't forget that it was the players too who told him to ditch Ahmed Musa afterall, poor poor coach
I tell you my brother
a really good coach...will know how to use musa....for a team strategy of these long balls....the guy has the pace...to be set up upfront..and trust me he will deliver
just imagine....removing that Japanese guy all because he wanna defend a slim lead...
Africa players problems stems from using family members and friends as handlers....
because these set of folks know nothing about football other than their how much will be made....from deals.
