Destined2win: This is exactly what I am talking about.
By going extra mile, do you mean marrying them or what yeah....I wanted a relationship leading to marriage... that's my plan right now... |
Romance › Re: What Do Ladies Mean When They Say, 'I Need A God-fearing Man'? by Humility017(m): 7:11pm On Aug 20, 2017 |
Destined2win: 90% of the times when you ask a lady the attributes she wants in a man, you will see amongst others, "he must be God fearing"! But what baffles me in actuality is that a lot of them do not act accordingly. It leaves me wondering if they have a totally different meaning to God-fearing. I know a guy who tried to live to his dream lady's expectation of being a God-fearing young man. He goes to church always and tells the lady, he always talk about the Bible. He doesn't talk about Sex or like things. But at the end, the lady abandoned him for a guy who didn't really care much about church or related things.
Even slay queens are not left out of desiring a God-fearing man yet you see their lifestyle saying completely opposite.
Ladies maybe you can let us understand what you mean when you say, "I need a God-fearing man"!
If there is also a limit to how God-fearing your man can be, please what is it.
Thanks! to be honest with you dear...many simply don't know what they want... I am a guy who believes and practise "abstinence from sex till marriage" but unfortunately I find it difficult gettin a lady by my side... I have always loved, care and do all i need to do.... many just love me as a friend but when I wanna go extra mile they decline and take me for granted... the truth is good people find it difficult upholding godly values in today's present world... the only guys ladies are mad over are those who go to have sex wit them....then they will be obessed wit the dude...because he has seen them.... real God fearing guys are only needed when marriage come calling definitely not in a relationship because relationships wit such guys to them....are boring being that there is no sex, kissing and petting... my advise to godly guys....is to keep being good and always know the reason why they're living Godly is because God say so and for their own good and not for the sake of confused lady compromise their stance |

Nigeria Rohr – List For Cameroon Clash Will Be Out Tomorrow, Expect New Names Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr says the list of players called up for the World Cup 2018 Qualifiers against Cameroon will be released tomorrow. Rohr made this known during an interview in Kano shortly after CHAN Eagles booked their spot at next year Africa Nations Championship with a 2-0 win over Benin Republic. The Franco-German coach said the list of players have been submitted to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) who are going to make it official tomorrow. He confirmed he has called up some players for the first time when he was asked if there are new players in the list of players for the back to back games against Cameroon. Scoop gathered from Owngoalnigeria.com has it that Hapoel Be’er Sheva forward Anthony Nwakaeme is one of the new names on the list for the September 1st and 4th clash against Cameroon in Uyo and Yaounde respectively.

It is very unlikely that Rohr will call-up Olayinka and Bonaventure.
They should keep doing their thing. I am sure Rohr and his crew are observing. but some of these first team players are match rusty nah they've not been playing...like Moses Simon, omeruo, and even musa |

Me I don't count my chickens before they are hatched. I Only talk of players who have allegiance to Nigeria.
I know him to be in the habit of rubbishing Nigerian grown players. To him Nigeria's best players are those born in England that have not been featured by Nigeria. If he doesn't change that his mindset he will continue to lament here. onething I have noticed about England is the hype their groomed players always enjoy...... If they were that good as being portrayed they should have been the world and European champions by now.... simply looking at the German clubs...only Munich can really match the English teams.... but the same Germany will so well assemble a team from these clubs MY BROTHER believes can't even play a English championship team....to a world tournament and they will be unplayable... just take a look at the last Olympic, confederations cup even the world cup... to show you that the hype around English players is just a farcade |

komekn: No your words are prejudiced, bigoted, jaundiced and lack substance filled with unsubstantiated negative assumption.
You changed the goal post without apology or shame, when you assumed we were begging them.
I would also inform you not all the players you call foreign birthed players were born in the UK. Quite a few were born in Nigeria and came to the UK at a very young age. So change your assumptions.
Let me tell you what happens prior to the selection of age grade players And I have first hand participatory information from painful experience.
Unfortunately, our officials are known to ask for bribes and other inducements and that goes to the highest levels. The second problem is that our organisation approach and structure in engaging with these players is mostly organised chaos.
One should not be penalised for an expectation of professionalism and integrity. Because you want to play for Nigeria does not mean you accept poor management and unprofessionalism. I should therefore accept rubbish.
We find it hard to accept the truth that is mostly bitter. These boys are not at fault but the false news that is spread when they don't play the game the Nigerian way.
Because you have accepted corruption, nepotism, deceit and unprofessionalism as being normal. It doesn't mean that everybody else should.
Thee boys are not desperately hungry and will not sign off thier match bonuses to corrupt officials or give the obligatory loyalty payments to show appreciation and supposed respect for elders.
We need to wake up and get our act in order and we will not have to make a case to convince players to come to represent their father land.
Our track record is abysmal. Consider how Sone Aluko was treated it's simply shambolic. Younger players watch and think if that's the way you treat players then what's the point
I could tell you stories off the Nigerian team being at camp abroad in the past and unable to pay thier hotel bills. Of course the players contributed and paid it all, with the promise of reimbursement that never materialized, but that is not right, it's actually quite shameful. Or I could talk about flight tickets costs never reimbursed back to players but budgeted for.
You perverse ideology is that to be Nigerian they need to accept this types of underhanded behaviour and practices as normal. I SAY NO. This is the very reason why the nation is where it is, this type of mindset that you propagate.
If you accept rubbish you become rubbish, so what comes out is rubbish. A people are often a reflection of thier leaders. I am verging on politics so I'll stop here. I will return back to these comment of yours....but will try as much as possible to be polite and respectful... considering your first two paragraphs and the eight paragraph.... |

Icon4s: There you go. You said "at the moment" I am talking about 3 years time. IE 2020 Olympics. I know the journey starts from now so I expect a lot to have happened from now to then. Players who are eligible to play at the 2020 Olympics are 20yrs and below today. We may not have a player within that age among top 10 in the world now but you must also understand that we have a pool of quality players that currently fall within that age that are expected to have matured significantly by 2020.
You cannot say you have good wishes for Nigerian football and start off with such a negative and defeated mind set.
Our 2016 Olympics team never had any young players in top 100 yet they finished 3rd.
Our 2008 Olympics team never had a player U23 within top 100 yet we narrowly lost to that heavily stars studded Argentina team.
When it comes to Nigerian young players I am usually conservative with my expectations but even so withing me I still feel we can still achieve a lot with the crop we have already if they can leave up to expectations.
Nigeria is always a force to be reckoned with at youth level so I expect a lot from the next class of Dream Team. just leave him...sometimes my brother talk as if he is unaware of Nigeria success in the last under 23 Olympics and nations cup.... also our past successful outing in under 17 world cup murdial... he thinks the only best players are those Nigerians in England...born and raised there |

Alampasu not likely to make the squad this time. That is a pointer to how the coaches would want to execute this Cameroon games. sir have u watched Bonaventure and olayinka highlights these season? presently no wingers in super eagles except V Moses playing better than them.... yinka possibly should be among the highest assists in the jupiler league by now... so why not call them and give them a chance...considering the fact that Moses Simon has not been playing since the start of these season..... He is no doubt an excellent tactician and his teams typically play total football.
But my problem with him is still players selection. You know he always keeps faith with "his boys".
Manu should remain U17 coach while Siasia takes the U23. We'll shop for an U20 coach from amongst our experienced local coaches. I think maikaba of awka United should be given the under 20 coaching job... the man is awesome he did much wit wikki terrorists of Bauchi the last time and now doing wonders wit awka united |

It's just like me saying let the South South develop football so that most of the players from the SE will be from the South South. My people, foreign-born players are Nigerians like everyone else. Let's stop all those labeling, division and sentiments.
Modified It's just like Trump and white nationalists feeling like they are the real Americans, at the expense of blacks, Jews etc. It's actually prejudice my brother. We show these signs even in our many cases of tribalism. It's a pity. stop playing to the gallery... I have never for once on these forum hide my love for foreign groomed players.... common sense should teach that...if the 10 millions Nigerians in Europe could provide such a mass of talents that we are all jostling for to come play for us... how much more...the 180 milion Nigerians at home....If only the structures and organisation are well in place |

What do you mean by begging them I think my words are clear enough to digest... having a functional age grade progression will make avaliable more players in our talent pool....moreover the likes of chasing after players who are not willing to play for nigeria or better still using us as a back up option should in case their birth country refuse them call up... will be curtailed.... let me tell you.....wit a functional youth set up and structires...there would have been stars better than some of the foreign born players some of us here battling over... |

Icon4s: Thank you.
You understand this issue perfectly.
When the Germans parade an U20 team you see over 90% as 19 and 20 years olds. But ours will be 90% 17 and 18years olds. We paraded the youngest team at the 2015 U20 where did it take us?
Apart from natural talent age matters a lot in football. That is why FIFA separate U17s from U20s. Europeans separate U19 from U21.
The way the NFF are going about it we will parade the youngest ever U17 squad and be prouding ourselves in it only to crash out at the 1st round of qualifiers. Then subsequently the players will be discarded and that generation goes like that thereby creating another gap in the system. exactly..... it is so painful... I believe we can operate a system...where we won't go begging these foreign born to come play for us.... though we might go after some still....but not on route of going to beg them . why can't the nff start a regional tournament of under 15 league....under 17 league and under 19.... the problem we have been recreating is heading on a journey to nowhere... why go embark on an under 15 promise tournament if there are no plans to progress the kids to the next level... promoting the outstanding under 15 players to the NPFL clubs main team...is not a brainer idea and such can stunt these lads development managing these age grade leagues can be less expensive...and should be entirely left wit corporate organisations to manage... |

See the stars studded back row
They look like boys that are well "Drilled" and ready to blow. Unlike the pix above that looks like a primary school team on an excursion. I tire for our football administrators.... seriously. these guys should be groomed to play the preceding under 17 tournament after the next one.... the nff problem is they lack ideas and when there exist ideas...corruption won't let them do the right thing... what's preventing the nff from setting up age grade league....it should be a regional league....beginning from the under 15 then to under 17 19 etc |

I mean look at those kids kneeling down in the front row do they look like boys who can play U17 qualifiers next year? so pathetic.... onething about we Nigerians we over do things....all because we wanna parade young folks wit the right age.... we begin to parade under age...partly the reason for the failure of amunike and garba boys....just automatically graduating all under 17 to under 20....all with an average age of 17-18 ages. why can't we just borrow the Germans model |

Danycrusoe: those guys are very very young secondary school kids yeah....exactly. I think the a league competition should be introduced for various clubs age grade team...and it should be regionalised to avoid long distance travels... may be into 3 or 4 regions... by so doing the clubs can keep track of these players development... I think the problem of these clubs lies in the fact that they're being owned by thr government of their state....and as such their management is always dicey |

Icon4s: can these ones in this pic be able to compete as U16-U17 next year? not at all..... they're so young...by then they will likely be 15, 16 years old at most... I think the nff are just carried away wit the money that accrued to them via the competition where the boys were selected from...having being sponsored by zenith bank... I will suggest the zenith bank tournament be merged wit the npfl promise under 15 tournament...and solely sponsored by zenith bank or alteco group.... |

Danycrusoe: how can they NPFL teams be faulted. are they expected to absorb these lads when they themselves have youths teams and academies they Re running. the NFF is supposed to keep them to a stage like say the U17 u20 level where the lads sell themselves to the world by playing in international tournaments not only FIFA tourneys I think they was plans to establish an under 19 league competition sometime ago... though I forget to discuss that... hopefully alhaji Diko keeps up with that plan.. I intend follow him on Twitter or any other social media channels...constantly reminding him of that |
