And i've stressed it over again that i'm talking about our best players regardless of where they are born. Which is why we cannot only afford to settle for players that England for example wont have even considered in their main team, just because we were not proactive enough to spot their special talent early.
you're right...
that's why I will only support an ambitious indigenous coach...the reason why we're seeing this invitation for the SE games now is because rohr is an ambitious coach....and not as corrupt as some elements we all know.

as long as some of Nigeria football officials keep getting some cuts from players signings (export from the domestic scene to Europe) lots of good foreign lads will always be ignored...because they won't want to grease the palms of these corrupt folks in like manner

your argument is appalling. Developing our youth system is totally another matter.
Every Nigerian born at home or abroad is a Nigerian. And we would need all Nigerians to improve be it in sports or otherwise. Hence we must always go for our best. Should we have a Nigerian player who goes abroad and becomes the best in another country, are you saying that country will never offer him their passport or ask him to represent them? Your argument is very misplaced especially in the current world we live in. People who have anything against foreign born Nigerians are delusional. I don't see how this stops you from developing your own. unbelievable.
I believe what Sir Icon4 is strictly against is the invitation of every dick and harry all because they're foreign born....
any player that should be invited should merit it....though our national team handlers often does not see the future..so myopic
but still effort should be made to spot talents amongst these foreign groomed Nigerians

That is it. Watch closely. And if he is willing to pledge allegiance to Nigeria we give him the opportunity if the need arises.
you're right
but the NFF should approach him through their representative if they even have one....
they should make him feel loved and let him know his progress is being followed back home and hope it won't turn us down when we come calling....

that's it...rohr can't do everything...
that's why I am expecting pinnick to use his influence to talk to some of the players....his problem even self is that he talks too much..almost all of them fathers are his friends...and they all grew up together bla bla bla....
should he visit any of them now...he will not let us rest even the English press will get to know...

Who doesn't know Olusunde's featured for USA, his Country of birth, at the 2015 U17?

I was referring in general terms to the English born Nigerian players.

I hear you.

Thank God we saw him play at the 2015 U17 if not by now we for no hear word about that one again.
Sir...you forget to mention that...the years gap between when you last saw him play and now...tells much difference for a player's development.
you shouldn't judge him by his performance some years...ago
I really think the lad has developed a lot...
judging by how he is highly rated by the club management even the most difficult to pleased coach(mouriho) regard him and hope he makes his debut someday.
I will advise...for the lad to be watch closely..
he should be one for the future

You want to secure all the special English grown Nigerian players?

See, every year talented young Anglo-Nigerian players will be springing up. So also are Nigerian youth internationals. We can only invite those that fit into the team's program now and going forward.

Besides, you want to snatch all the special English born players why can't you develop your own? You want to start harvesting yams from another man's farm when you also have the yam seedlings and fertile land to cultivate and harvest yours.
Olosunde is not an English born...he is an American citizen

I think he's moving to a bigger club in the summer. He was just unlucky with injury during the last Olympics or else he and Ndidi would've been the revelations of this winter transfer window. Any team that snap him up would be happy with that transaction.

And it's funny you'd say this because I made exactly the same remarks regarding the Barca scout team. In fact, I told 'em that they should fire their scout team and hire me because I can definitely do a better job than what they had done over the past few years.

O pari
Lol...I pray he goes to Newcastle.. working with an ambitious manager like benitez gonna rub on his game...couple with the fact the Newcastle as team are very aggressive
just that I am feed up of all this scout watching things

Yeah, right now, I think we should only pursue Tammy and Tombori; let these other guys sort themselves out. I am not a big believer in disturbing somebody who has declared publicly that he doesn't wanna play for us (Lookman).

Once the Super Eagles start playing well again, these guys would come crawling back to beg us for shirts.....especially, if they don't get a call up by the 3 Lions.

O pari
Tomori...case tight oo.the dude is also eligible for Canada...
I believe Ola Aina success with the SE gonna convince them...I don't blame lookman at all
he plays in a team dominated by 3 lions players
those guys might possibly influence him...just like playing in man united or spurs...
that's why I pray Tammy goes to Leicester... ndidi can help us do the job

Chelsea Loanee Omeruo Blows Hot – Playing For Chelsea Is No Longer My Priority

https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/6DE3FF5B-BED0-4516-9707-0BC1C71371C9-10809-000004BDE933FF89.jpeg

On loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo says playing for Chelsea is no longer his aim, rather going to any team where he is sure of getting games next season is his target in the summer.

Omeruo is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues since joining in January 2012, with his current loan spell with Alanyaspor of Turkey his fourth in a row in the last three seasons.

Heavily linked with a return to Chelsea in the summer, the 23 year old insist returning to Chelsea is not his priority for now, and won’t mind a permanent transfer from the club despite extending his contract till 2019 in the summer.

“It might happen that I get to play for Chelsea but it is no longer my immediate priority,” Omeruo told BBC Sport.

“You have no idea how frustrating it is to always go out on loan,” added the Nigeria defender.

“Last season I had an opportunity to go to one of Turkey’s biggest clubs [Besiktas] but the deal collapsed two days to the end of the transfer window,” he added.

“My priority is to play at the top, to find a place where I get to play regularly.

“Next season will be interesting because I’m looking to be in one of the top leagues, so we’ll see what happens.”

This is a very good news for Etebo and for Nigeria Super Eagles, if it happens. Ralph Benitez has what it takes to bring the best out of Etebo and prepare him to explode at the World Cup. There is no doubt in my mind that Etebo would be a success in the EPL. He's one of the hardest working players I know. And he's a utility player as well.

Let hope the move materializes....fingers crossed!

Matic?! Last season Matic perharps but not this present Matic. Ndidi plays exactly like Kante, you can't have two such players on the field at the same time, it makes no sense. For Ndidi to go to Chelsea, Kante has to leave or even worse, he has to displace Kante
I don't get you
I have watched over 70% of Chelsea's match this season in fact part of the reason why fabregas often does not get start is because of matic defensive qualities
matic has not played anything this season forget the goal he scored the last time...against Sutton ndidi will score 5 of that being that Chelsea create a lot of chances...

I tell you ndidi can offer more upfront and as well cover up side by side with kante...

If Ndidi keeps improving, he will make a big move soon to a top side.

Raheem Lawal scored an outstanding brace today, MOTM performance... Another player that is knocking on Rohr's door.
nice one from ndidi...to be honest if opportuned he can displace the likes of matic in Chelsea

the problem I have with raheem lawal...is translating such a wonderful performance into his national team assignment
he barely play in such manner when called to represent the country.. I think he needs to be consistent

We need to give him a break to sort out his family issues. I am not saying we should completely discard him.

I don't think anybody here has defended Musa more than I have done. But I think it's time we give him a break and try other players please.

MFM should take Midtjylland to FIFA, they had no right to have even a walk through with a player who has more than 6 months left on a contract. They know the laws of the game and they only went ahead because it was a Nigerian club involved. We need to put our foot down and stand such things. If we don't respect ourselfs who will respect us.
please don't blame the Danish club..

blame the player and his agent
u see the reason why many European clubs don't like signing Nigeria players...(the issue of 3rd party ownership) it gives peace more when they go for academy lads..because there is more fairness
still remember how the other guy from dolphins whisked to Europe and signed for two clubs at a time...one north Africa club and the other a European club.
their greedy handlers are their problem
reporting such a prestigious danish club that have done good for lots of Nigeria players to FIFA gonna jeopardize the club bond with Nigeria players now and in the future..
I guess they even wanna sign any player from Nigeria again...
the best thing to do is to sanction the player and his agent...
and please don't forget as I read in a report the player is not fully own by MFM that might have played out too
