You are right oooo..... This Zambian team ehn.. hmmmm.... I just dey look them... they look so resilient and very very enterprising.

They have already equalled the class of 2007's showing at an U-20 WC (Zambia's best performance and finish so far). It is most likely this squad surpasses their predecessors and some of them go on to be household names for Zambian football just like The 2012 Afcon winning side that had Emmanuel Mayuka and Stophila Sunzu from the 2007 U-20 side that lost to Echiejile's Nigeria.
and that new Algeria coach was dreaming of still qualifying Algeria for the world cup...
thank God we already won them at home....
to be honest I expect some of these guys to be integrated into the National team after the tourney

Onyekuru Thorn Between Arsenal, Anderlecht- I Love Arsenal But Anderlecht Are In The Champions League

https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/image-63.jpg

Red hot KAS Eupen forward Henry Onyekuru has openly admitted he is thorn between joining the team he loves and the team that appears to have what looks like the best option for his career now.

The forward who has been heavily linked with a move away from modest side Eupen in the summer, has narrowed his options to just two teams, Anderlecht and Arsenal .

19 year old Onyekuru who is in the camp of the Super Eagles current gearing up for their upcoming friendly games against Corsica and Togo says why a move to Arsenal will help him realise his dreams. A move to Anderlecht will see him play in the prestigious UEFA Champions League next season.

Both teams are currently locked in talks with Eupen with a bid of around £8m said to be sufficient enough to price him. A fee which both teams can comfortably afford for the scorer of 24 during the recently concluded Belgium league.

“I am enjoying myself in Belgium. This competition is fun and I’m still learning things here, but I’ve always dreamed of the Premier League. We will see, though. I still have enough time to make a decision.

“The Champions League is the lead that Anderlecht has. In addition, I can only say that there are two big clubs each with their own playing style.”

Leicester City Working On Deal To Sign One-Time Arsenal Target Samuel Chukwueze

https://allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/85813Samuel.jpg

Leicester City are working on a deal to sign one-time Arsenal target Samuel Chukwueze from his Nigerian club Diamond Academy in the summer transfer market.

It would be recalled that the Emirates outfit had been nailed-on favourites to secure the signature of the exciting winger after the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup.

Chukwueze and his entourage traveled to London to discuss personal terms with Arsenal, but the deal eventually suffered a setback as the parties could not agree on the payment method of his transfer fee.

''Leicester City told me they wanted Chukwueze while we were discussing about another player, so I sent the club his videos, '' said Chukwueze's representative Johnny Ogbah to
allnigeriasoccer.com .

''They asked me about his valuation and I told them they will have to pay the same amount Arsenal offered to pay. They are keen on signing him but no offer has been made.''

Juventus, Red Bull Salzburg, Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund, Porto and Villarreal have all been credited with an interest in Chukwueze after he won the Bronze shoe at the Fifa U17 World Cup.

The camp of the Super Eagles will this evening come alive ahead of their friendly game against Corsica and Togo with as many as seven players expected to be at the camp of the team.
Already the home based contingent comprising of Alhassan Ibrahim, Sikiru Olatubosun and Stephen Odey have touched down France, same as FC Porto on loan midfielder Mikel Agu.
Watford loanee Uche Agbo has also arrived France, and should be in the camp of the team tonight alongside the aforementioned players.
Olarewaju Kayode who holds the honour of Nigeria’s top scorer in Europe this season, joint top with Henry Onyekuru is also in Paris, from where he will connect to the camp of the team.
Onyekuru on his part will arrive France from Belgium later today as well, which will bring the number of players in the camp of the team to seven according to our count.
The rest of the players are expected to arrive camp by tomorrow morning for the first friendly against Corsica on the 26th before the game against Togo on the 1st of June.

West Ham Gives Onyekuru Deadline To Accept Personal Terms Else Deal Is Off

https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/image-63.jpg

English Premier League outfit West Ham have set a deadline for hot in demand Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru to accept the terms they are proposing to him after reaching agreement with Eupen over his transfer fee.

Red hot Onyekuru took his season tally to 25 in all competitions with a brace last night for Eupen against Roesaelare in what was his final game for the modest Belgian team, where he has spent the last two years.

His form this season has led to interest in his services from all round Europe, but the 19 year old has made it clear he wants to move to England amidst interest from Crystal Palace, Everton, Southampton and West Ham.

However as exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com, West Ham have reached an agreement with Eupen for a fee in the region of £7m for his transfer, but are yet to trash out terms with the forward, who has been called up to the Nigeria senior national team.

West Ham have now set a deadline of two weeks to complete talks with the forward else they try out other options following the conclusion of his teams commitments in Belgium, where they were involved in the play-offs.

Keshi called Iheanacho to CHAN camp and reports stated Nacho was to wear the ten shirt. Reports also stated Keshi built the CHAN team around Nacho. Nacho left camp to sign for City and that was what caused the fall-out. Keshi knew Nacho was good and was ready to bring him into the team. Nacho had a chance to break into the Super Eagles World Cup team but Manchester City could not wait to get their hands on one of their prime targets.

We should chase our foreign born players but any that is not interested we let him be. We are not lacking in talents at any level of the game. We have several others that are WILLING to play for us. Let's go for those . We cannot be forcing or begging people to play for Nigeria.

We are NIGERIA.
exactly we shouldn't beg anyone to come play for Nigeria... but we can approach them through our foreign scout if we consider them good enough for the SE.
the problem with our officials they ignore those willing to play for those not interested in playing for us...

There is another game this weekend I believe... against Hamburg. Bet on Osimhen playing a good part in that game.

Osimhen returned to a fitness level good enough to make the coach risk him in a game Wolfsburg needed to win or draw to keep their bundesliga status hopes alive and you are here still yarning terminologies.

Osimhen has been struggling for fitness since January.... is that so hard to understand?? He just made his full recovery and was thrown into the deep end almost immediately....

What are you on about with the bolded... because that is me asking you a question as to why a player who is injured and recuperating will play week in, week out??

You always use the funny line... "If he is that good, he should walk into Wolfsburg first team" and totally ignore the fact that the lad has been trying to bounce back from injury woes....
Bro...I tell you...had it been oshimen was a half German and half Nigerian....considering His rise so far...many Nigerians here currently kicking against his invitation would have been chanting for him to be approached to come play for Nigeria and call into the super eagles just to steal him from Germany....

that lad...is a bunch of talent. perfect example of a real striker....

Osimhen is untested, unproven and rated by who? If he was exceptional he should be playing first team at Wolfsburg.

All he has done is played youth football and beyond that nothing. You cannot use past glories particularly at youth level to rate a player.

Furthermore, Osimhen is recovering from Injury and has not done anything all season. That is totally unfair to players who are cutting it and have become proven and tested like Onyekuru.

It is the Rohr that is so expansive, substantive, methodical and objective. That invited a boy Josh Maja to the Eagles camp from lowly Sunderland who has not played any first team football. In the general scheme of things he would struggle to be in the top 50 Nigerian origin U21 players.

Meanwhile Aluko who is playing fantastic football at the best footballing side in the championship has not been called up.

In this regard I believe the Nigerian factor is still alive and kicking unfortunately.
.

josh maja...was only smart enough to go look for rohr and SE players in London...he left his comfort zone...if other players of Nigeria origin had done same...they won't have been refused by rohr.
and for that oshimen calm down sir
i don't think rohr would've keep inviting him if he was not good ......
