Amberon: Not true. Reno, you are not the standard for the 7billion people in the world. That it happened to you doesn't mean its always the case. Love is always and forever, never confuse it with lust or infatuation.
Since 2012 when I met my first love I haven't been the same. He didn't give me the world. Though he broke my heart and though we don't talk anymore he is still the one I Iove.
My friend's mother also haven't gotten over her husband though their marriage crashed about 22 years ago. She refused to remarry to this day cuz she still loves the man.
So speak for yourself Reno. To people like me, no amount of money and material things can buy my love.
wow...I am touched.. Dear..God will heal your heart and grant you grace to start all over...
RoyalBoutique: I have nothing to say except blame people that voted these people to represent them.
These old men no dey shame at all
it is better to live in street named after Anthony Joshua than live in a street...named after Nigerian politician... I watched his interview recently where he spoke Yoruba... I was so touched to hear his plans for his motherland... how he intend to contribute to lives back home... I bet..None of our politicians have such plans rather than to loot the country empty... the guy deserve an heroic reception
But one thing is I cannot rate even the best 11 from this tournament as totally good enough for the eaglets. Recall I described that Million Kome guy as a potential candidate for the eaglets team.
Why?
This U15 tournament carries players who were horridly assembled for the sake of the tourney. No traditional academy team is participating. I believe those academy boys may be more grounded in the knowledge of the game than these ones.
My take is after selecting 23 players from this tourney the selection should also be extended to cover players from the traditional football academies. And let the best be taken.
So when you don't see some of the best from this tournament not making the next eaglets team let's not cry fowl. And I sincerely wish the selection be done without sentiments and "mago-mago".

nice one I like this move...better to have a street and a stadium named after a sport personality that has brought recognition to the country than name it after politicians.....whose only achievements is to keep milking the country dry
myobjective: Nigeria need to be restructured, the amount of uncertainty we get the moment a serving head of state is having health issues or incapable of performing his duties us alarming. A number of uncertainties that also surrounds transition from one government to another are also very high. A true federalism and decentralization of power from the hand of a strong central government to the states or region will help to curb these power mongers and help to developed the nation
well said...the question is...will those benefiting from the unholy arrangement allow it? the truth is every region or tribe often complain of this arrangement when not in power but suddenly twist their tongue...when they're in the aim of affairs....
just pray we have a reformist as leader soon because there is lies no hope with these politicians who are only after their pockets
FriendNG: You're right. He will finish Buhari tenure but contesting might be a problem especially when a northerner is filled in the opposition.
let him start buhari tenure first you will begin to see the northerners becoming uneasy engaging in series of negotiations with him just like the time of GEJ you know... what? he will do Nigerians lot of good should he choose not to contest because his reign will be filled with blood of innocent souls... another GeJ scenario may likely play out...
Bobby808: Before ukon? When the west is praying everyday that the vegitable should quickly go down so that Osinbajo will take over.
Lol it is not going to be an easy ride what we experienced (bombings) during GEJ era is small. I currently live in the north...and I was serving in the north during last election I participated as inec adhoc staff...posted to a Fulani enclave I still believe God used PMB victory to preserve me and my colleagues... it would have been something else
Icon4s: I agree with you 100% But please switch places Ambrose and Success. Thanks.
Lol...you're funny your love for success na something else though the lad physique and style of play suits Africa football I pray he contribute more to the eagles
should anything happen to PMB.. I think the northerners won't take it lightly with the southwest.. especially should osibanjo desire to contest for president in 2019
congratulations to John Ogu... I will want him to remain in the league..abit he is doing well... hopefully rohr keeps inviting him...the league is not bad at all
goldfish80: The question have always been why do academies seem to export players abroad than the NPFL. You obviously came in the middle of this and didn't follow up on previous discussions.
Bro...one of the things we have fail to understand.. is that Europeans work base on past precedents... I tell you for sure...Gent and other Belgian clubs will not stop coming for talents in Nigeria academics as it is now..reason because of the past success wit players like ndidi and lots more... I remember one of spurs scout coming to Nigeria... and he asked a Nigeria agent...if he can get him more of nachos..sorry if I didn't paraphrased it well.. this I believe he asked...because of the current city's success with nacho...it was a gamble that turned out successful...
should odey move to Celtic...goes successful and he end up lighting up the Scottish league...I tell you that will be the beginning of a fresh romance of npfl players and Scottish clubs...
so I tell you...the past success of European clubs with players from Nigeria academics still keep this relationship afloat.. some of these academics have built good reputations with this club over time
Danycrusoe: Wawu, should I call it low self esteem or the African mentality that any white man is always better than a black man??
See everyone has his or her own sentiments and bias and this does not exclude Rhor, we know his bias towards Germany and Holland in securing talents for Nigeria, so it's not exclusively limited to our indigenous coaches, he is also being sentimental about our local talents, he doesn't believe the ones we have cannot compete with the ones abroad forgetting that the ones abroad once played in Nigeria before moving out.
if the late Keshi was in charge and he had those three I bet he would v done great things with the SE this man won the AfCon with relatively unknown players , the same with Amodu, always qualifying the SE for AfCon n world cup from poor positions.
The only thing that hampered these great coaches was the interference of from the former NFF board who were also not looking at foreign born players, I won't make a case for Siasia and Oliseh sha
thanks I like your points..... but you fail to include how our trials with indigenous coaches cost us two afcon tournament... same keshi that won for Afcon for us could not qualify us for next afcon...he began to experiment with different rockies...in one occasion...a non league player was spotted wearing the prestigious no 10 jersey in one of super eagles match.... his team selection for the 2014 world cup... was filled with fraud... no one can explain how uchebo who had 5 goals for club d brugge made the team in place of IMO Ezekiel... of standard ligue with 12 goals abit his team winning the Belgian Jupiter league... if not for the public outcry the likes of osaze would not have made the list... the inclusion of Gabriel rubben...a player who has only 290 minutes of action all through a session still remain something that needs to be explained
or should we go into... Sunday oliseh...team selection and managerial attributes? that's a topic for another day.
when you talk of amodu always qualifying us for the world cup...with the calibre and large number of players has Nigeria... qualifying for the world cup or nations cup shouldn't be a problem...
even at that qualification has always entails us engaging in permutations, mathematical calculations etc...in one of those outings was our 2010 world cup against Kenya...in Nairobi where martins net the winner...I think this should be the first time in a while...where we likely qualify for the world cup with no stress or fear...as such involving us using our calculators
though...I am not writing off our local coaches...I think they have a lot to learn as regard being a football manager..
connectpoint: I collected a number from a chic on my estate.. Not called her in two weeks.Want to please paint what her thoughts would be like for me now
in most cases if they have your number..being she didn't receive a call from you. she will call you herself
Danycrusoe: imagine IF we had Alaba, Alli and Barkley all the three on the SE team. chai nawa. those who are in charge are guilty of this n I hope it changes for better when it comes to selection of talents
with indigenous coaches....? forget it their major set back is sentiment and biased players selection everyone is rest assured now on the SE because rohr a German is in charge had it been a Nigerian we all know how the team selection would have been.....
teemy: ndidibabe, when the bible stated 'let her breasts satisfy you', i believe the writer did not leave out breastmilk. i can testify that after a good feeding time babies feel pleased. as long as the baby's ration is not affected it is fair game.
Icon4s: Hahaha Ideye. That one. The only game brown Ideye has played well for Nigeria was at the 2007 FIFA U20 World Cup when he scored in our opening game against Costa Rica. The only other highlight I have of his entire super eagles career was that flick he give to Emenike for him to score against Burkina Faso at the group state of AFCON 2013.
We done try for that guy reach abeg.
Lol...I just know... I prefer the dude to ighalo who doesn't contribute that much ideye work rate is top notch... I foresee kayode or success replacing him in eagles....
tbaba1234: Too much emotions when it comes to Iheanacho here. Kelechi has a bad game but somehow people find how he terrorized the opposition defence. I don't understand..
I tell you... some views here...make me think it wasn't same match I watched live on TV may be I will have to download and watch it again..
FC Midtjylland secured a 3-1 league win over Nordsjaelland with their Nigerian forward Paul Onuachu breaking a two game goal drought with a goal in the 71st minute.
The over six feet tall striker netted what was his 13th league goal of the season in the 71st minute to round up a comprehensive 3-1 win for his side.
Nicknamed “Nigerian Peter Crouch” due to his height, which is almost same as that of legendary England forward Peter Crouch, the 22 year old has taken the league in Denmark by storm this season.
Last month he went on a goal scoring run, scoring seven goals in five games in both the league and domestic cup, a run that lead to interest from English Premier League side Sunderland.
Overall, he has found the back of the net 16 times in all competitions this season, and reports gathered by
Owngoalnigeria.com has it that he is under the watch of Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr.
TheGoodJoe: Odey, remaining for me to beg you. Go and work with Rodgers in camp. Even if you do not make it, you will leave a better player in that short time. A lot of tactical drills that will expand your knowledge of the game. Go for the so called medial evaluation.
OMG...you always make me talk.. you've started again wit this your drills stuff you just make me believe you want him in Celtic because of drills and hoping those drills will make him a better player right?
