Arsenal to offer £50m plus Xhaka for Ndidi

Following Wilfred Ndidi’s outstanding performance for Leicester City in the Foxes 9-0 annihilation of Southampton on Friday night, Arsenal fans have expressed their admiration for the super eagles’ defensive midfielder, hence, urging their club to sign him.

Youri Tielemans, Ben Chilwell, Jamie Vardy, Ayoze Perez, and James Maddison were all excellent for the Midlands side, but one player that caught the attention of Arsenal fans was the Nigerian international.

However, Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to call for the Gunners’ board to sign the 22-year-old in the near future.

A Twitter user with the name Walt Banger urged the Arsenal board to sign Ndidi.

“Give them Ozil and Xhaka and see what happens. We can take Madison and Ndidi”, he wrote.

“Would love to have Ndidi and Maddison at Arsenal,” another Arsenal fan Afcbreezy stated.

Paul Arsenal simply wrote, “Arsenal I hope we are watching Ndidi.

Guccini tweeted, “Xhaka + £50mill for Ndidi @Arsenal.”

“Arsenal needs to get Ndidi in next season,” Meroe added.

Ndidi, who had 8.46 whoscored.com rating against the Saints on Friday night, has been a mainstay in Brendan Rogers’ team this season totaling 10 appearances for Leicester City scoring 2 goals in the process.

Lastly, the Super Eagles technical adviser Gernot Rohr will be banking on him to replicate his impressive form on the international stage as the Nigerian team prepares for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Republic of Benin and Lesotho in November.
Dude should remain at Leicester please arsenal has become an average team and moreover they are not doing better than Leicester at the moment

Oga, let's stop all these tribal accusations.

I don't think you guys know the weight of responsibility on these coaches. Why would they want to chose their tribes men as players at the expense of their jobs? Think about that.

Even though some of us expect a kind of balance in the ethnic composition of our national teams, sometimes they are balanced and at other times they are not.

Yes, a coach might chose a couple of players based on certain sentiments which could be ethnic, religious, political, economic etc. But be rest assured that the majority of players especially the key men in the team will be selected based on merit.

For those accusing Manu of ethnic or religious biase look at his 2013 team. Is it not the team that produced likes of Iheanacho, Nwakali, Mathew, Ndidi, Ezeh, Nwobodo, Obasi, Uzoho, Okon, Just from off my head.

How can we come in 2019 and accuse same man of ethnic or regional biase?

And even for those accusing Amuneke of same in 2015, things like this happen where most of the best players that emerge will just spring up from a certain region which was the case in 2015 and now in 2019.

Do you know there was no Yoruba player in Fani Amun's 1993 Golden Eaglets team?

Do you also know there were not more than one or two Igbos in Yemi Tela's 2007 Golden Eaglets?

But sometimes too, we have a mix of ethnicities like the John Obu's era of U17 and U20s.

Things like these happen. It switches sides and then balances again. But the most important thing is that they are all representing Nigeria and we have to support every of our teams irrespective of the ethnic composition.
Okay sir... your post carries a lot of sense...
I appreciate your response...

thanks for this... just not too happy with Manu garba sha not just because of this tribal issues...oooh remember how he refuse to play that Chelsea kid in the last under 17 afcon even in an inconsequential match and also refuse to take in the arsenal prodigy....

this two players shut out really pissed me especially the Chelsea kid...

but anyway I will support the team regardless...

thanks much

Is manu, a yoruba man? In the previous years that our age group has been dominated by a certain region what has been the benefit to the national team.
Must all our national team be dominated by south east and south south players?
David Alaba and Dele Alli, two of the finest talent playing for foreign nationals are from which part of the country?
are both players with us...now?

mention top 10 best footballers Nigeria has ever had or currently has.... and let me point out those from the south south and south east for you.....

the Manu garba team of 2013 was more balanced and even the YUSUF Chan team the last time.... likewise aigbogun mediocre team still....

Please let's end thus discussion.

I don't like the tribal lines it's taking
there is no one toying tribal lines save for few myopic fellows here...
I for one registered my displeasure against amuneke team of 2015 as it was littered with players from the south eastern region and I think none was from the core north... that alone doesn't speak well and none manu garba is replicating same script...

if we don't condemn what is evil in this country, how will the country make progresshuh

manu garba, amuneke and few others are the few brains we've got presently as far Nigeria indigenous coaching circle is concerned and we must not let this men rubbish their coaching talents with the rigours of tribalism and sentiments...
let's criticize them constructively when due...and praise them as well when they deliver.....

fine...there is nothing that can be done presently but for the sake of next under 17 tourney let's say the truth as it is... because the injustice you tolerate today may come back to hurt you and your clan tomorrow. ...

Forgiveness u think say I no d knw motive behind ur ranting then lolz
hope you've seen the reason why I have always been against indigenous coaches running the super eagles...
corruption and tribal sentiments have always been their problem....
the best way to solve this under 17 & 20 issue is by having the team coach and two assistant from the north, south west and south east by so doing tribal sentiment will be curtailed.....

to be honest...Amuneke team of 2015 was almost in like manner the team reveals his tribal affiliation in no distant time you should be able to tell the tribe of the coach...
the only region that have produced coaches who are not too tribal in selection is the south-south...Aigbogun under 20 team was so balanced with mediocre players though with no tribal segregation and flair....

this was the reason why I wanted Yusuf Salisu...he is the most balanced super eagles coach....I have ever seen for the past few years.... he call up close to 80% of the players based on merit...his CHAN team was so on point...

I missed him and I really wanted him back despite the bribery saga.

Do you mean because the North produced the highest numbers of Nigeria rulers, they are better
rulers than the South?

Is it not the same hypocrites like you that will tag anyone from the North occupying a sensitive position as a product of quota system?

I can see ethnocentrism is worrying you.

Now, let me educate you a little. The main reason those two regions produce most of the footballers today is simply because of the culture that permits their children play football. It's never because they are more talented than other regions whose culture and religion forbids or discourages them from playing football.

Because facts on ground shows that the few that were allowed to play from other regions, later became the best in Africa. Can you debunk this?

If we go by the ratio of number of players produced and numbers of players that became top players, considering the amount of players produced by those two regions your mentioned, they are not the most talented. Facts

However, you will have to agree that recently, some of these regions are allowing their kids play football. It's doesn't mean they are better than players from those regions.

Nevertheless, my submission doesn't in anyway vilify or glorify any group because I still maintain my egalitarian values that all should be given equal opportunity.

If we go by your comment in the bolded, about transparent process of selection.....what transparent process rejected Emmanuel Adebayor from playing for the Nigeria U17? ....what about David Alaba?

Mr, I am not against your view regarding Manu's selection but I am against your ethnocentric view that SE and SS are the most talented people in football in Nigeria. Fat lie.
I think manu scouting this time wasn't done in all region....
though I won't write off other regions but going with past precedents the south east and south south have been known for producing some of the best crop of footballers that Nigeria has ever had....

the south south for instance have been know to always produce... good and talented strikers for the super eagles beginning from the year 2000 till date....
but I belief Manu really didn't scout well this time around...the talents are always there...
he should go around like the way he did in 2013.... that team was well spread and it paid off......

I am more concerned with talents from the southern part of the country...most I have always seen coming from the core north barely make significant progress...I will say because they're not too ambitious like the southern guys....

for example where is musa yahaya, Aliyu abubakar and co....?

the south south particularly Edo and Delta state have produced more footballers from the south south region....

Amuneke
Yakubu
Aghahowa
Victor Moses
Mikel
and lots more...

south west have produced too...but of a truth they can't match the south east when it comes to football talents so far Nigeria have produced

Kelechi Nwakali’s Move To Huesca In Danger Of Falling Through – Spanish Journalist Reveals

Former Arsenal teen prospect Kelechi Nwakali is not having the best of club career despite his reported move to Spanish second division side Huesca on a free transfer during the summer transfer window.

According to Spanish Journalist Ralphael Sanz who writes a blog on Huesca, Nwakali’s move to Huesca is hanging on the thread despite the fact that the player and the club verbally agreed to the switch. No official announcement has been made ‎by the club but Arsenal announced it on their official website.

As a matter of fact, the 21 year old has not set foot at the club since the deal was agreed and even a routine medical is yet to be carried out on him. The situation however has nothing to do with the player’s abilities as its purely an administrative ‎issue.

” A deal ‎is in place but the paperwork for it to become official is far from done. That’s the reason why Huesca are yet to officially announce his signing. Even his medical is yet to be done, hence he is yet to start training. I doubt if he has been to Spain since his move from Arsenal was confirmed”, Sanz told Owngoalnigeria.com.

The midfielder is part of the U-23 team of Nigeria for the U23 Africa Cup of Nations and Sanz believe he could be heading somewhere else if he impresses at the tournament which starts on the 8th of November in Egypt.

” A good performance at the tournament could cost Huesca his services. Other clubs can make a move for him from what I gathered. I guess the player and his representatives are aware of this and that should spur him on at the Africa U23 Cup of Nations “.

German champions Bayern Munich are scouting Lille striker Victor Osimhem, according to reports in France, Completesports.com reports

Osimhen, who joined Lille from Sporting Chaleroi this summer , has hit the ground running in France.
Since joining the French outfit this year, the 20-year-old has scored eight goals and assisted for two in all competitions, making him the second-highest goalscorer in Ligue 1.

Germany will be familiar territory for the Nigeria international who was once in the books of Bundesliga club, VFL Wolfsburg.

Osimhem linked up with Wolfsburg in 2017, making a total of twelve Bundesliga appearances for the Wolves.

He enjoyed a successful loan spell at Sporting Chaleroi last season, scoring 20 goals and making four assists.

An impressive season saw the Nigerian join Chaleroi on a permanent basis after the Belgian club activated its €3.5m option to buy, then sold him to Lille a month later for €12m.

Bayern Munich appear to be on the search for their next striker as they prepare for life without Robert Lewandowski and a backup in the meantime.
