forgiveness:you're very cunning sha... in a democracy the will of the majority prevails... and also the majority have the right to exercise their rights at will..... but through a lawful means... are there written statutes that voting into the committee and rescinding of decisions on committee members ought to follow in this thread? ?? if none, the majority over 22 nairalanders want icon to be included in the award committee and there is nothing you can do about it..... you didn't read where some of us here cited that, they didn't get to understand the voting process thinking Icon and Andrew already had automatic admission into the committee board.... laws are made by men and same men in overwhelming majority can amend and re-enact same laws.....even a rigid constitution can be amended. |
Abusule007:what a confused lad....he has the opportunity now to make the team at such a tender age and surely rise up the ladder in no distance time as an international for the most populated black nation on earth... but instead he opted for the English under 21....so bad. anyway I must commend Pinnick for this even though I am not so happy with him... |
ChrisKels:me too...over 19 likes on the post calling for icon admission into the award committee board... I think that alone is an overwhelming majority... should forgiveness, somehow and komekn still pick against...and icon refuse participate then I tender my earlier vote null and void... because still remember how icons4 severely call up and chase komekn the last time who was the committee member to come in finish up with the nomination...the UK based football guru forgot that he was even a committee member and that there was responsibilities attached to the role..... though not to dice anyone...some peeps sometimes just want to steer up controversy when not necessary. |
safarigirl:that suspension long ooo |
forgiveness:your reasoning ehh. you look very much like a difficult person in real life....so sorry to say. didn't you read the part where I said... I and many others here initially thought icons4 had automatic inclusion into the committee board... will you make those awards art work with your personal money and also go to NFF office in wuse to drop it with the nff Secretary? sometimes when you someone willing to go extra mile to make things work.... why being rigid better vote now or still pass and act as if you never saw the post |
zicky:to.be honest with you...I don't understand the controversy somehow is trying to create with this...I just don't understand. it is not a money making venture..moreover oga icon even used his money the last time to carve this award art work and relay them to the NFF... me don't understand at all.... it is funny ooo |
komekn:I agree with this...reason why I rate Olayinka so highly...he is somehow a winger I believe has so much potentials and unique traits most of our wingers don't have... I rate him high...forget about the league.. but for such a player and club to give clubs like Bercelona and Inter a run for their money it shows there is something good about him and his teammates |
komekn:komekn I am with you on this one.... let the best be picked without prejudice or jaundiced... irrespective of where their dual nationality status.... I hate it when we exclude certain players all because they're foreign born...let's go for the best and not allow sentiments ride on our plans to build a formidable national team |
Utonwanne:me was thinking him and Andrew had automatical inclusion in the committee board... reason why I didn't vote him oooh. so I think some had same notion too. I really want him there because of the members often times get so busy that they need a constant reminder of their duties and the deadline for their tasks... he did it perfectly well last year...and I am expecting him to do same this year until someone else springs up to take charge in his place as we progress |
TheSuperNerd:then why is Oga raising dusts and even Joebie is stylishly supporting him in one of his mentions nawa oooo |
somehow:so you didn't the part where I said.... I initially thought icons4 and Andrew had automatic inclusion... ![]() why are you saying this ![]() sometimes I just don't understand you... anyway I have stated it up there .. a simply YES/NO vote if icons4 is to be Included in the committee board or not... please do well to cast your vote. okay....it is a very open process.... |
Please if you're in support of Icons4 automatic admission into the committee board of the Nairaland Sports award.... click Like if otherwise click Share... modified... Sir Icon4s...overwhelming majority of the house members want u in that committee and please do the needful.... it now rest on you... thanks cc: somehow Icon4s ( m), Loogan ( m), giftancy ( m), shogz89 , Odunayaw ( m), komekn ( m), peterd53 ( m), Bolowolowo, charlesemeka85 ( m), DrWhizy( m), Humility017 ( m), chidi1 , simiife, M7even ( m), Kbs468( m) oluwatobi01 ( m), Eligreat247, joezy23 ( m), Abusule007 , DrLikita12 ( f ), Starboytwo ( m), timay |
somehow:and you think....it was the right thing to start discrediting the good work they're doing all because you wanna preach democracy rather than seek for an avenue to bring legitimacy to the work.... it wasn't helpful.... you know. someone suggested it and the post got over 16 Likes and what will you call that ![]() what is democracy to you...that one of the electorate asked for the inclusion of a pioneer member into the committee board and the post got overwhelming majority of over 16 Likes...is that not democracy...? this is one committee that I see it's end result to be well represented and have been so fun and lively since it's introduction so let's enjoy it...and give it out utmost support... Probably we can cast a simple vote like a referendum (Yes/No) whether Icons4 should be admitted into the committee board |
somehow:you just type anyhow...if you've been following this award stuff since last year and safarigurl post imploring icon to come on board you won't have spill those words... sorry to say this....u know I have always talk this always with you... you barely consider other variables while putting up yr words... many here including me was thinking Icon and Andrew had automatic ticket into the committee reason why I didn't bother vote him.... he initiated this and last year he planned it...I remember how he severally called up the committee members last year especially komekn who forgot his responsibilities.... Icon4s carried everything on his head.... if you are a good student of politics...you wi understand that one of the demerits of democracy is that the best does not always win some times.... the majority choice may not always be the best.... next time ask for an explanation prior you start accusing some members here of not practicing democracy we have little knowledge about..... |
Icon4s:please don't let Basco catch you... he always support failed coaches and players like Tijani |
tbaba1234:it is such a pity....I have said it PINNICK era will likely go down as the worst ever NFF chairman/president Nigeria has ever had.... so ashame with his vast experience he is clueless on what to do and the decisions to take..... just can't wait for him to leave come 2022. so painful...that choose to fail just like Jonathan... I will rarely support niger-deltans for a top job again... because they'll likely messed things up |
abbey086: you've not seen anything yet... I am not surprised...with that coach...that team likely will not make the Olympics and he will come back to blame mother luck...and trust pinnick to retain him as Rohr assistant.... pinnick like failed coaches.... he adore and glorify them.... |
safarigirl:Dear...anything is possible with Nigeria coaches and the NFF..... those guys perfectly summed up Nigeria's problem.... |
Joebie:Nigeria coaches are something else especially in matters of corruption... I started doubting this manu garba when he left the Chelsea dude on the bench all through the under 17 nations cup and even dropped the arsenal prodigy afterwards.... indigenous coaches and corruption are like 5 & 6 |
somehow:there is need for comparison Mr. have you heard comparative government and politics... ![]() you compare and contrast... you can't say or link the corruption in European or non Africa countries to the ones prevalent in Africa... you can't get a complete perfect system...but still that's not enough reason to rest on guise that being that corruption exist everywhere let's continue to tolerate ours.... only a man who aim not to make progress think that way.... I doubt the cadet team coaches in England would engage in the measure of corruption practised by same coaches in Nigeria.... even with their strict technological measures to abate corruption few cases are reported abroad...let alone Nigeria with inept technology and more cases are reported..... corruption is the bane of our football growth |
pappy2000:I will advise you to suspend the wedding for now.... tell the families that you and your partner need time to sort out some things.... and while the period...take time to do what he advised.... concentrate on your work and side business and see how things goes...if she still didn't change... let her go. if she insist on terminating the pregnancy...let her know she will endanger her life and her chances of having kids in the future if she goes ahead.... she is not matured at all.... |
Subzero047:Lagerbach managed Sweden in 2002 and also iceland afterwards where did pretty well... also he managed nor way for a short while... when it comes to country football lagerbach is more rated than Rohr globally...though rohr is experienced with Africa football tho |
Subzero047:I think he is highly rated than rohr and more tactically sound compare to him sha. but with the way NFF be na only Rohr we fit afford and only him fit tolerate our football administrators for now. |
BascoVanVeli:you see yourself.... only a proud heart thinks men are always right.... a man is adjourned to err because he is human... what do you do to such coaches most times in football... ![]() you relieve them of their job and let them go sort themselves out... after a while they will back with another coaching job where there lies the possibility of not repeating previous mistakes... that's why coaches are sacked in the epl and other leagues and later re-employed. your thinking is flawed.... I think probably you're still very young... because it reflects in your words and reasoning. even at work sometimes managers give their staffs day off or even ask them to request for some days off work from their 30 days annual leave to allow them cool off... for now manu garba needs to be quietly dropped for another with the opportunity to do better.... if you read my posts earlier...I salute him, amuneke and others as the few good brains we've had currently as far as coaching is concerned but for now...he is very clueless on how to build and scout players for a team... |
BascoVanVeli:the fact that I am not a coach does not mean I should glorify mediocrity when I see one. please sincerely from my heart, not insult ooo I think you have a low taste and can settle for anything below average or mediocrity so quick...still remember how you were supporting aigbogun on this thread and how Tijani was like Suarez/Cavani to you... with a population of Over 200m peeps don't think Manu is the best we can offer as an under 17 coach....give others the chance... finidi, amuneke are all there....give them the job and let's see what they can make out of it... you can't be doing something over and over again...same principles and methods and expect a different result.... |
BascoVanVeli:just imagine what you wrote.... so you think the man should keep the job even when he fails to deliver....? he had fumbled twice now as an under 17 coach.... that performance and players scouting was damn poor even if the nff should smuggled bichi into the team that was not the reason why he failed..... he messed up.... mediocrity shouldn't be tolerated |
somehow:remove Thomas Dennerby because he coached the female term... Nd for berti Vogts I don't rate him.... but for the Swedish...common sense should teach that he was coach for just few months don't think it was even up to 5 months so that time is always too short for any coach with worthwhile program and plans to implement them.... he just took a team he barely knew and understood to.the world cup |
somehow:please why do you reason so low on this matter..... ![]() must you think so low and to you...lagerbach is not an astute coach abi? for yr information lagerbach should be ahead of rohr.... |
OMANBALA1:Mazi.....I don't know how to sugarcoat the truth oooo. you see Delta state is one of the few states in Nigeria with high level of literacy and the people there do go to school but the corruption in their heart and blood is second to none....likewise bayelsa state...and Edo state also come in distance 3rd. corruption amongst this folks is sickening... warri north is the richest LGA in Nigeria with allocation of over 5B naira annually but go there....you'll see nothing to show for it... when the money comes.... the youth leaders, chiefs and all will rather want their cuts instead of channelling the money for development and capital projects....likewise bayelsa where the warlords all have certain percentage from the state budget.... the budget of this two states is more than of many Africa countries but you won't see anything to show for it.... Mazi just imagine the asaba stadium the shameless delta government serve the super eagles for the few matches played so far.... and what pains me most is that the governor will still come sit in such a stadia not worthy to be a European team training pitch..to watch the super eagles struggle to play in such turf.... it is shameful.... corruption smells in Niger Delta with the headquarter in Delta State...remember then in my school Nadeltsu election was like a governorship election...some bigwigs often troop in from delta state to manipulate elections for their stooges...apparently because of the bursary cash that can be embezzled from such post.......
|
edi287:pinnick will likely equals Galadima as the worst NFF/NFA boss Nigeria has had since recent times.... he is clueless, and to think that he is even an alumni from my school and same department i finished from in university of benin makes it more sickening...... he barely takes reasonable decisions, sticking with failed coaches.... the government of Jonathan has made me to believe that most south south folks are not responsible with governance......and this pinnick is proving it right.... |
Joebie:let's leave the discuss. it is getting hit up already....I am a Chelsea fan, seeing Tammy play for Chelsea hurts but I have accepted it and moved on.... bringing up his discuss here everyday will only make folks like komekn to continue to have their heyday |
TheSuperNerd:the bolded made me laugh so hard... was he really hoping for the rules to Change ![]() |
