Why do you find it so hard to have a balanced weighted view of matters. Things are not always in black and white.

Further perplexed with the depth of discourse that has been expressed here you still pack the ability to appreciate matters objectively.

It's like you attended the lectures but didn't remember anything or understand anything.

At the end of the day, these players feel Nigerian. They like the food, the culture and the music. But when it comes to football they can decide to play for England. Get over it. If the matter tire u, make una hold hands and start a revolution in Nigeria.

just when they see that the English quest is no longer feasible they begin to apportion blames on why they never feature for Nigeria instead...

Playing for Nigeria when you are already an outstanding player in the Championship DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR YOU.

Aina was a Chelsea player and at one stage the most outstanding RB in the Championship. He was in the shopping list of a multitude of clubs.

By going to Seria A he increased his market value

Nonetheless, we decided to pick a dead Echiejile over him who had literally expired.

So how then did playing for Nigeria propel his career forward.

Tega and Tomori were outstanding in the Championship that's why they are in the EPL playing for Nigeria is an act of honour and love for his Father land not career progression. Particularly for England youth international players.
good for the outstanding players.... since playing for the super eagles does nothing to their career growth....being a championship outstanding player....

if he was good enough...he would have been in top epl teams..by now after all mount is of same age with him....sterling made his epl and national team debut at 17-18 and he kept lampard on the bench...then at the world cup.

so unfortunate that the likes of you with your selfish advise are the ones misleading this kids....

i think eze wants to remain in the good books of the english fa which is likely to pave way for him to an epl club in the winter or summer window by sticking with their u21 side for the moment.

he really need to weigh his options because breaking into the current 3 lions team will be a tough task for him judging by the the quality they have in his position on the pitch. he will have to battle with mount, barkley, maddison, chamberlain, lingard and even uncapped grealish for a place in the team while in the u21 willock is rated ahead of him.

I think the nff and rohr should give him enough time to decide on whats best for him. ovie ejaria should be contacted as well
bro... playing for the super eagles would have enhance his market value too....
as a Nigeria international...a good and outstanding performance for club and country will fetch you a good epl club.....

it is sure... Aina fetch a good club playing for us and likewise Troost.... no thing beats being an international for a country with a good fifa ranking....

It's something many don't appreciate here that these boys do not need the SE to give thier careers a boost. They don't need the DR to create create awareness about them.

The careers of Fikayo, Ovie, Ojo, Tega, etc ere not underpinned by performing for the SE. It's what you do on the field consistently and with outstanding performances that gets you noticed.
see some looty words you spill up on your last paragraph... to you, you've said or raised valid points...

Super Eagles Too Big To Be Treated As Plan B – Rohr Shut The Door On Tomori

The chances of Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori playing for Nigeria still remains valid after his bench role for the Three Lions of England in the last round of international games where they played against Czech Republic and Bulgaria respectively.

Tomori was an unused substitute in both games that would have tied him to the English team permanently as both games were competitive fixture. Playing in any of them would have ended his chances of switching allegiance to Nigeria.

His bench role means he is still available for selection for the senior national team of Nigeria if he is called up although the process will take at least a year to be approved by FIFA.

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has however ruled out the chances of that happening insisting that his team have moved on from Tomori since he made public his decision to play for England.

” He pick where he is comfortable and we wish him all the best with England. No point thinking we can have him back as it will be dangerous if we allow players view our team as second option when all fails, I think we are bigger than that. I hope he succeeds with England “, Rohr said.

QPR Ebere Eze Ask For More Time Before Committing His Future To Nigeria After Talks With Rohr

England youth international and QPR midfielder Ebere Eze has requested for more time to be given to him before he can decide on representing Nigeria at senior level , Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Rohr spoke with the midfielder few days ago about teaming up with the Super Eagles for the AFCON 2021 Qualifiers games against Benin Republic and Lesotho respectively but he felt the move came too sudden.

Eze reportedly told the coach he will need time to decide on the offer, which means he could miss out on a chance to play for Nigeria next month. His answer came as a shock to the coach judging by the fact that he trained with the Super Eagles in 2017, a year before he played for England at U20 level.

Despite not committing his future to Nigeria yet, reports has it that Eze could accept an invitation to play for England U21 which will complicate his chances of playing for Nigeria as he will now require a clearance from FIFA as the next game for the England youth team is a competitive fixture.

” Eze has spoken with Rohr but no decision has been made on his inclusion in the team for the upcoming games. I think he knows if he plays in the game he’s committed to Nigeria for life as it’s a competitive game.
“However we are hoping he makes up his mind on time before the squad list is released. If he decide to stick with England where he is about to be called up to their U21 team base on what we heard then we wish him all the best”, a chieftain of the Nigeria Football Federation
if he eventually choose to go for England...we wish him the best.

I am waiting for the one amongst them that'll regret this England antics at the end......

England will keep deceiving them but deep down even the English FA knows they can't absorb them all...

few will gain from it but many will suffer for it...

His best was not good enough no prejudice.

I don't think you watched the game, it was a poor game especially for Manchester United if they had played a league one side with that approach they would have been beaten.

But did Partizan take advantage, no they did not they didn't have the quality to trouble Manchester United, they were poor.

So what exactly did Umar do that was outstanding huh ❓ How many aerial balls did he win, where was his hold up play, did he burn the Man. U defence for pace, did he dominate them physically huhhuh Did he score ❓ ❓ Did he get the MOTMhuhhuh ❓ So what did he do that was outstandinghuh

He had two shots but did not score.

My honest opinion is that there are many non league strikers who would do better.

Then taken in the context of we are looking for strikers in the SE to compete at World level he falls very way off the mark.

Actually you are the one being sentimental and biased to the point you cannot make an objective based deduction on player performance.

In comparison look at my comments on Uche Ikpeazu, who left English league two and almost single handedly rendered Glasgow Rangers impotent. Infact don't look at my comments look at all the match reports and the praise heaped on Ikpeazu. Look at the transfer speculation surrounding him.

Now let's look at Rangers and Celtic a good comparison two teams that are in a league supposedly below the Serbian league. Celtic were able to beat a Seria A team Lazio and Rangers got a draw away against Porto.
you mean Heart would have troubled Manchester united yesterday?

if not for the biased officiating... you know they had a penalty too against man united that wasn't given....

for a team of that standard to play Manchester united the way they did...I give them kudos... they tried though they would have done better with the many chances that came begging....

as for Sadiq if not for your sentiments probably you would have been quick to see how he was the marksman by Those man united over hype defenders
