charlesemeka85: kayode's greatest mistake was choosing man city ahead of newcastle united who were ready to blood him into their team immediately. sometime i wonder the motives behind our players career decisions. exactly same with Ideye when he was in Greece....some players make nasty moves |

OMANBALA1: This is not true. Edo people, especially the Bini rarely speak the language. Even some born in the state. As for the Igbo, it's pathetic. And this is coming from a G who is deep rooted in Igbo culture. I think the Biafran war has a lot to do with it. you're right as regard the edos... I am an Edo. ..I barely know how to speak my dialect even though I was born and bred there but notwithstanding the patriotism to this country still remains intact....I am just so proud of our cultural heritage...... and that I believe every benin knows little of even when they know jack about their dialect...they will teach their kids |

TheGoodJoe: It is not about less Nigerian but giving underprivileged Nigerians the chance to grow. The foreign borns have things the home based kids can not dream off. Some of them are very gifted but have never warn a shin guard before.
The U17 is a window of opportunity to give these underprivileged kids a chance to change their lives. Then we take kids in some of the best academies who have it all to take away the opportunity of these kids.
I stand with the U17 and U15 being used for grassroot development in Nigeria.
Finito. you could have as well tell us to turn the under 15 & 17 team to charity organisations for less privileged kids..... you guys wanna turn nigeria to a laughing stock....does this reason look fair and justified enough...you will deny foreign groomed players the chance to play for their fatherland on the flimsy reason that you wanna help the less privileged kids |

Joebie: You can as well stretch it to U20, U23 and SE. there lots of underprivileged people in Nigeria .
What we actually need is grassroots development and a developmental league not what u are suggesting. Even clubs from Europe will come to our leagues and pick young players. Just imagine even oga Joe have joined the legion of folks that wanna turn out cadet teams to charity organisation for less privileged kids... I fear for some brothers here |

Famocious: Lolz..
Tammy Abraham has put up naija flag on his Instagram page, our flag even comes before the English's.
He may jump at our invite if Rohr extend one to him Lol....to hell with his Chinese made flag... he should tender a global apology to nigeria... before he will be considered. he made a mockery of the most populous black nation on earth...the 8th most populated nation in the world.... |

Joebie: That guy no go easy to get. But it’s worth trying He is not a Ghanaian... nigeria blooded folks with dual nationality abroad are of the most patriotic Africans you can find.... he can be lured....especially if his skin color is black.... should Aigbogun visit him and talk things out with him...I am so sure he will switch but the lazy coach won't do that.... |

darkelf: It's too late to try Ebere Eze in that position.
If Rohr really wanted the dude, he would have given him a chance earlier.
You guys, I want my country to win...I really do but I don't want us to see anybody as indispensable so we don't get disappointed But we can't get the dude now.... so what do you want us to do... the guy has already featured in a competitive feature for the British under 19 and moreover he is still too young to and too late to get used to africa football... after the nations cup, i expect mikel to resign and rohr can go after this lad... |

darkelf: Why can't you also stick to the narrative. you mentioned WC quaifier matches and I mentioned WC proper.
Besides, Musa isn't even the best attacker on our team. His on/off shouldn't matter much if the others bring their B game with them I make mention of world cup qualifiers...because I wanted you to assess his performances against Africa oppositions...they're the ones we will be playing come June and not the Europeans or south Americans. .. |

darkelf: In the same vein, tell me if Mikel's presence made any difference at the World Cup. you see yourself.... are we playing the world cup come next June? why can't you stick to the peculiarly of the tourney? you see had it been we are playing the world cup I won't have been comfortable ighalo playing the top 9 but against Africa oppositions.... ighalo have what it takes to bully such defense and score goals.... so.....the uniqueness of the tourney matters.... many of this lads are playing their first afcon ever.... and musa is an on and off player. ...we need Mikel to give stability to that midfield |

Mikel's presence will not change the result of any match signficantly the issue I have with you.... You people know in the deep recesses of your mind that we don't need him. Even Segun Odegbami echoed same sentiment in one article I read earlier this week. Let him not be discouraged or become bitter. He just needs to work more on his game and prove to everyone that he is really good. There's always the U-20.
