Family / Re: What Is The Worst Thing That Can Happen To A Marriage by Humulity: 9:11am On Jun 04, 2015 |
Inlaws interference. And so shall a man leave his father and mother and joined to his woman and the two become one. Interference from either the man's family or the woman's family leave's a very negative mark in any marriage. Every other challenge can be managed and can be over come with support from each other. Even inlaw's interference can be over come, but the impression (usually wrong becuase emotions instead of reasing supersedes) already dented the union. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Oby & Pastor Chinedu Ezekwesili At Inauguration Thanksgiving (pictured) by Humulity: 10:53am On Jun 02, 2015 |
Ignorant is a disease. Chinedu Ezekwesili is an ordained Pastor of RCCG and a Senior Pastor at that. Apart from working in the vineyard of God. As a true Anambrarian he is; a very successful business man. A football club in the Nigeria professional league (armature league) not Premier League having his backing (do you know what it takes to finance a club). That alone tell you the stuff the man is made of, he is simply a gentleman by nature, a pastor in the pulpit and a father and husband at home. Oby Ezekwesili herself is a Chartered accountant, intelligent, competent public servant, a woman of integrity with a strong character. A pastor with RCCG as well, a loving wife and caring mother. You need to encounter the children to see how she have impacted godliness in them. Her being vocal is an asset for all I care. None of her critic can stand her on debate on any issue. As you can see, she has a loving and caring husband who provides all her needs. And give it to them, they look charming together. Show them love and not hate, she has done nothing wrong. If you think otherwise, say it here. 1 Like |

Very emotional for me looking at the pictures. By tomorrow President Goodluck will become ex-President and Buhari will become Preisdent Buhari. Our democracy is progressing no matter how rugged the ride is. God bless Nigeria!!! 1 Like |

Your selection is quite impressive with history of Nigerian Professional leaugue. Initially I wanted to to fault how you picked Enyeama ahead of Okalla and Ike Shoronmu, but your analysis is convincing. However, I wonder why Henry Nwosu did not make the list? Good job all the same. |

Travel / Re: Tell Us The Best Places To Live In Nigeria And Why by Humulity: 10:59am On Apr 27, 2015 |
Enugu comes first for me, quiet, well planned, clean and affordable. The outgoing government even upgraded some facilities in the city and most of the roads are dualized. Anambra state in general as somebody earlier stated here, has no remote village. Every local government is springing up modern structures in every corner. By my own assessment the most secured state as of today. Even their vigilante has patrol vehicles and arm robbers fears them more than Police.. Thirdly for me is Bauchi. Yes you heard me well. Had lived in Abuja, Lagos, Ibadan, Kaduna, Birnin Kebbi, Awka and Enugu. Visited over 30 States out of the 36 states. Had my youth service in Bauchi. I saw a lot of opportunities in the state capital which many are not seeing. Though some social amenities is lacking but you can live like a King and make millions if you see if you think outside the box. Just the security situation there. The scare the riots experienced as a Corper is still fresh. Life sweet pass money. Abuja is cool but unnecessary expensive, apart from the high cost of accommodation, one can still live comfortable on normal budget if you know where to go for your shopping. Generally Nigeria is the place to be. Once you have money you can live as you like, the law does not apply to you once you have the cash. And if you are hardworking and sharp (not intelligent) your becoming a success is a matter of time. No place like home. NIGERIA! GREAT PEOPLE !! GREAT NATION!!! 6 Likes |
Fashion / Re: Imo State Pageant: Meet The Male And Female Contestants (Photos) by Humulity: 10:49am On Apr 24, 2015 |
Young energetic youths I must commend. However, I wonder how some of them passed the screening to be selected as finalist. Reason being that these are supposed to be Ambassadors of Imo state in the next one year. Imo state is an Igbo state and I wonder how the face of Imo whose surname is spelt OKORIE will now be bastardised as KORIE - stupidity. What is the meaning of KORIE. Secondly how can somebody contesting for Imo pageant will be identified with two foreign names. Your name should be your identity. Imagine the scenery below 1. In an exam hall objective question Pick out the name of Miss Imo from the under listed names ; a. Philip Favour b. Alfred Grace c. Korie Sandra c. Anyanwu Nnenna 2. Select the name of Mr. Imo from the under listed names; a. Dominic Scot b. Richards Emmanuel c. Charles Brown d. Emeka Nwosu If am on that panel there’s no way those people will make the finals. Period. Please let be proud of our own. NOTE. Am not from Imo state. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: APC Again, Puts Zoning Structure On Hold by Humulity: 9:47am On Apr 24, 2015 |
There is nothing wrong with having disagreement among individual or groups least of all a political party. What should be the bone of contention is how best to lead the country. Zoning take it or leave it is a tool for ethnic bargaining. Whichever way The president is for the country irrespective of where he/she is from. However a case where the disagreement is for selfish gain then such must resisted. And suspension of the zoning for now will make the party to move forward, it's a wellcome development. But the interest of all Nigerian's must come first. |

Is the board or the process under investigation here? The NUC boss as the Chief Executive to me is on cause by given a logical explanation on the process. The Honourable member can make a observation and recommendations for consideration. One thing I understand here is that there is a standard must be adhered to. It seems we don't want to learn from our recent past, lets avoid those things that will ridicule us in future either as individual or nation. Does it mean we have not learnt from the saga of the whether the President-elect certificate issue. For crying out loud my sister inlaw 25years of age First class in Accounting applied for this scholarship last year and did not get it. Let's save our future please. 1 Like |

I want to believe the op is not being mischievous with the post. One this is a designated refuse dump ( you can clearly see the filled dump on the first picture). Two you can see the waste are mostly fresh cartoon of beverages, which means they were just disposed recently,(probably same day by hawkers). Besides how do you expect a refuse dump to look like? There is nothing wrong with pointing out an observed anomaly in any society, but not misleading/misrepresentation of facts as you have just shamelessly displayed. The dump as you can see is constantly maintained by whoever is in charge, if not you could have seen pigs and rodents on parade. You also failed to show us the surrounding environment with vehicles loading and offloading. When next you want to package propaganda do it well, or are you a learner? Free yourself hypocrisy, it doesn't pay. One love brother. 2 Likes |
Romance / Re: Why Is White Gown A Must For White/ Church Weddings? by Humulity: 11:39am On Apr 23, 2015 |
That is an ancient biblical tradition(decorum). There are many biblical references about wedding garment, white was not specified neither suit for men. But white signifies purity, and a maiden is supposed to be pure and chaste till her wedding day. I have seen a man on traditional attire for church wedding. I have been in a church service where a minister of the gospel annonced to his congregation that once you have agreed with a lady to get married and the bride price paid, that you don't have to put on any special cloth. Once you watch and iron what you have that he will wed you. If you give him notice, he will host you for lunch as his own gift. |

As somebody stated here people with access to wealth can lobby and get chieftancy title, which is different from being a traditional ruler. Lobbying for chieftancy title or position is not peculiar to the Igbo's, it's global. If you are talking about Igwe, Obi, Eze, Onowu, Okpala, Ogbataonuba, then I tell you they are as influential as any king in his domain. With exception of the "autonomous Eze/Igwe" you see in Imo state and parts of Abia and Enugu. |
Sports / Re: Okocha Vs Ronaldinho Who Is More Talented With Skills And Dribbles by Humulity: 12:22pm On Apr 20, 2015 |
When both players were playing for same club; Jay-Jay wear No.10 while Ronaldinho wears No. 7. Jay-Jay plays all the free kick as long las he is on the pitch. Ronaldinho once said he watches Okocha to during his private training and later go to practce what he learns in his own private training. Ronaldinho will always be overated irrespective of his ratings at per with Jay-Jay; because he is a Brazilian and Okocha a Nigerian. However, both guys were great players who learnt a lot from each other and contributed a lot to the game. 1 Like |
