I raised the issue of date because of the other lady cc: Cutiefred06 She also just renewed. Her submission was October 17th, same day as your supposed friend. So, from the information at our disposal, renewals are given preference. What we do here is not to assume, we read other people's comment, study them and do general evaluation. That is why i spoke about the date. No one here understands the internal arrangement of the UKVI, as such we do not make assumptions. You can not also say they are just working randomly, because it is a visa section and Eco's have their applications to treat. In my personal opinion, i think it is the person or group of persons handling applications at a particular time, that determines the speed of response. Maybe they have not gotten to your application, Kindly excercise more patience and wait for correspondence. Thank you. Chimama1: She renewed her visa visiting visa, my center was also VI. I don't think it has anything to do with date. I think dey just do anything at this point randomly any application their hands encouter. |

October 17 - Monday September 22- Thursday The other person - October 17 - Monday Don't you think that applications submitted on first days of the week are usually promptly attended to? I advice you hold for response from them. Is your friend a first time applicant or she is also renewing? Her center is VI , I believe and you? For others planning on submission, i have been carefully studying the dates , you may want to choose Mon/Tues for Standard Processing. Just an observation, if anyone has other opinions , Kindly advice the enquirer. Chimama1: Good evening beautiful people, kinda worried about the time frame of standard visitors visa. I did my bio on september 22 and no word from them, tracking still on DMC even though it is my 5th renewal . A friend of mine did bio on 17 october and was called for collection mail today. How are they doing this application? And hers was VI too. Nawa |

Mrmoney90: She doesn’t need to include CAC if this happens to be the case right?
I mean, if she pays herself salary monthly, what documents does she need to provide in that regard?
Just need a clearer view on this I think the applicant need be sure of what they want, he is saying two things ,and needs clarity on them. He has said his mum is not retired, that means she is still working. In that case, she can present her pay slips/statement, while her son stands as sponsor for the trip. He also said, his mum does business, in that case, she needs to present a cac document to substantiate. |

She will be needing a cac document to substantiate her business activities, but if the case is otherwise, she needs payslips/statements. If there are huge amounts paid in the six months period, you should attach a cover letter. Your sponsor will also need attach his/her bank statements and other relevant documents, 'if' the application is made not as a business person. This information below is seconded leef2022: You would need a cac even if you were paying yourself income as a business person in my own opinion. The cac demonstrate you have a business and perhaps occupational tie to your home country. Whilst paying or earning income from the business demonstrates your financial security in regards to the business. Some way you could pay yourself is create a business account for your business, and pay yourself salary/wages monthly from the business account on a specific date of every month, also you can make a payslip of your business, where you indicate amounts you earn and other ways possible. However, it is wise I stress all above are done with all genuineness.
Hope that helps. |

Hello. Let me respond to your questions as asked 1. You can not convert a visit visa. A visit visa is a visit visa, as the name implies. Visit and come back. 2.You are not to purchase a ticket, If you have to , you are required to attach a dummy reservation. 3. Every visa category has their requirements, work visa, study , and the rest. You can find details on the UKVI website to have a better understanding of what you are opting for. 4. Other questions relating to sponsorships and work permits are secondary. You pass a stage first, before you get there. Step by step. Now my advice, if you are traveling on a visit visa, during your stay in the UK, You can reach out and link up. If you are lucky to get a posting before your visit period expires, you get all necessary documents then come back to process work visa. Better still, You can establish links prior to your visit by doing research, so once you are on ground, you can cement other plans. Just to add, there are platforms on instagram handled by some Nigerians in the UK. They give tips on job sponsorships and other related information. I would suggest you also take your time to go through the threads, and do some research on work visas, prolly , you can get a telegram or youtube connect to aid your requests. Above all, if the goal is to relocate with work/study visa, you may have to join a few more communities. I hope this helps. Visit gov.uk for further information on starting your application. irabs4567: Good day gurus in the house , Myself and my spouse are planning on a visit visa...now the issue is are we supposed to buy a round trip ticket? We booked for an hotel . Note: it’s our first time traveling.. do you think we can convert the visit visa to work visa or study... or is it advisable to come back after the exact days documented on the form? Ticket fee is ridiculous right now..coming back and going back is costly ..Can we get sponsorship for work permits on health care upon arrival or other jobs . Pls I need your advice God bless |

You do not understand what we are telling you. Do not rush to re apply, get your house in order. Your initial and recent application is complicated with figures. Fix all these, then re apply . No need to rush to re apply. Goodluck saintmor: The 6million I declared here I gave evidence to show the source and how I earned it, with tax receipt s. Very correct. So i said, he should substantiate his claims of funds and give clarity to Eco. He should also give cogent reasons why he should be considered for a visa. When we are treating issues of this nature, we should not forget to take our time. It is not a rush rush thing, take your time and put your applications together , by so doing you will attain visa success. Every contributions that is being put out here is of great importance if you can follow them. Mrmoney90: Sorry to say, but everything just seemed sketchy with his application. He had an unresolved refusal which he was supposed to address in his new application, but instead he came up with a whole new different scenario. Now tell me if that doesn’t look desperate to you?
The reason why ECOs state the reason/s for your refusal is so that you can work on them and also resolve it in your next application. It’s just that simple!
It’s just like you offending someone and the offended person clearly tells you the reason why he/she is offended by you, instead of you to make amends, you still go ahead to commit another similar offense.
To all applicants and prospective applicants, never ever ignore the details of your refusal in your next application. Make sure you address each reason extensively. The ECOs wants to give you a visa, but they need to be really convinced enough of how genuine you are before they can trust you in giving you a vignette.
Even in business, no one wants to deal with who they can’t trust. |

You know what you do. Just hold with UK for now. Re applying can send a wrong signal. If your purpose for traveling to the UK is for Tourism, I advice you look for alternatives. I usually do not advice people to re apply immediately when issues bordering their initial refusal is related to funds. saintmor: I actually gave them account balance of 17 million last yr Nov, they said there's no evidence how I earned the money, I also have another business I pay myself 500k every month, though didn't add it last yr, so I decided to use this account, and I didn't add any other account or money I can't really explain. That's why I declared 6 million now. Just my personal opinion. However, if you can defend your application with substantial evidences, you can re apply. Mind you, explain in details as Mr Money adviced reasons for difference in your initial and recent balance, business activities and a very convincing letter "may" do the magic. Keep in touch. |

Way forward. Documents needed and issue of lump sum. Experienced gurus, this is another one. Lets decipher. Karishma: Hello,
I need help, I don't know where to start or if it is even possible. I am a youth corper finishing service in January and not yet keen to go into the work force immediately after I return to my home state. My sister lives in the UK and has invited me to visit her for two weeks early next year after my passing out. She is sponsoring my trip and has a good account balance and good paying job over there. 1. What kind of documents do I need to submit to show that I am genuinely going for a visit as a tourist to see a family member. Anyone had this experience before, especially as someone with not much attachment in Nigeria, since I am going to be leaving NYSC soon. 2. If my sister gave me a lump sum of about a million naira to my account as a gift deed to support my application, will that be acceptable?
P.S: Lots of young people all over the world travel around, especially after school before they settle down to find a job or further their career. It's just sad that we are not afforded the same opportunity to be simple tourists without jumping through so many hoops. |

1. You can apply yourself. 2. You need to have a usd card to make payments( It has to be funded) 3. If you need a usd card, visit your preferred bank in Nigeria for more information. 4. Your sister can use her card too to make payments for you. 5. Priority service cost 250 pounds 6. Visit https://gov.uk for guideline to start your application. I am not sure of any concessions for rescheduling , maybe other gurus in the house can add to this. May your days be long. That is the word "desperation" and we should not also forget that these people are humans. Their state of mind at a particular time determines alot too. Mrmoney90: I agree with this. One school in America denied me admission when I was constantly mailing them to remind them about it whilst they were still processing it. I guess it got them at a wrong time and I was sent an admission refusal mail.
I feel it’s very right to just be patient, as that way you do not send off any sign of desperation. |
