Exactly, the bank people said so too
I have gone to the bank, UBA, they said the money will be paid into their prepaid card and not my dom acct as i filled in the form.

So i paid for and was issued a uba prepaid card.also funded my naira acct with the naira equivalent of the pta value....
I stumbled on somewhere someone said you need to write a debit authorization letter....i wasnt told that at the bank...and i saw that after i had left the bank to ask them.
The bank people said am to wait, that i would be notified again when its ready...
My concern is what if all these delays spills over and i t ravel...will the process still continue and they pay the money into my card/acct in my absence?

Pls, Which Exchange rate do UKVI use? The day ur visa application was submitted Oando Rate or after biometric and when Application is been reviewed?

Hmmph. It no go better for naija sha. No one tested for Jack shit at the arrival Terminal in Nigeria. I was just asked if I had the card and qr code. What was now the point to filling the form and showing the green card at Heathrow and Hamad international as well?

After the UK relaxed restrictions I thought the Nigerian government reciprocated the gesture.


Please if you are traveling to anywhere outside Nigeria carry your covid card along as you will need it when coming back.

I got a rude awakening at Heathrow yesternight at the self service boarding pass machines. The Qatar staff who was supposed to login to the machine so I can print ticket, was looking to fleece me off a few bucks in return for help with registering on the naija site. The last time I was met with such shadiness was at kotaka airport last year with an airpeace worker.

Omoh all female air hostesses wherever dey be, whether African or sand niggas, have criminality running in their veins. Luckily the naija site processed the barcode for me sharp sharp and sent it to my mail

I agree.. Nigerians do not know those yeye people’s eyes are everywhere, and they will be making those silly statements. No be everybody wan Japa jare..

My next application will be approved certainly, now that I know what they are capitalizing on. Once that is sorted, no issues for sure..

Thanks for quick response, please I intend to travel for business,I have been importing goods from London close to a year now,I have bill of lading to back it up with my name,nternational passport number and shop address.the shipping company want to send me invitation, did I need to submit both my savings account and business account.though I intend to submit only my business account with business name and CAC documents.hope sending only my business account won't cause any problem because I want to start import by myself

ok, there are so many factors which we dont know.
the 1.8m that is your closing balance, is your acct clean?...ie regular inflow and outflow??

2ndly, your friend that sent you invititation letter, did they include their rent receipts?, is the accomodation suitable enough to accomodate you?. whats the status of the friend inviting you??---the visa officer disregarded everything and homed in on your finances, perhaps sopmething isnt adding up. na only u and the agent know that one..


Lastly, this nigerian behaviour of mental indolence/not willing to understand how anything works, but relaxes and leaves serious matters in the hands of outsider who has no stake, agent gets paid whether or not you succeed...is not a good behaviour, i call it mental laziness.
for a serious and willing person, just reading 5 to 15 pages of this thread is enough to give you the information needed to apply for your own visa youself! , but no, people will run to agent..and when it doesnt work will turn around to say--they dont know what the agent did.

You are on point but all physical CAC offices in Nigeria will not fix the INACTIVE status. They will only direct him to meet an agent or give him contact of an agent who does the job.

INACTIVE status is ONLY done in CAC headquarters, Abuja through accredited agent.

Accredited agent makes payment and notify (with proof of payment) appropriate unit at headquarters to change from INACTIVE to ACTIVE status.
