[quote author=Ibegtodiffer post=92975965] The FG had told ASUU to enrol on IPPIS pending the readying of UTAS. ASUU said it needed 2years. FG no agree. Only for bad sharp ASUU to present it within 6months of that discussion...Lol If FG refuse to accept it, then Nigerian students and parents would know that FG is the problem. Let's not forget that Airports have been opened so that the children of the elites can travel back, as schools resume in September. This is not this case, please allow insiders do the talking on this issue. We need authentic and accurate info. if your position is true, then way are other University unions who willingly enrolled on IPPIS platform clamouring to go on strike. |

Palema007: Don't let today's modernization blur you. My mum earned far more than my dad and heaven did not fall. Neither of them does house chores. My mum had a maid who stayed with us until my eldest sister go to primary six and she left. What Dad did was to tutor us on how to be independent. Dad was a very good cook but he does that once in a year precisely every 1st Jan. So he had roles shared among five of us and my dad and mum supervised. ( none of us attended boarding school) At age 6, I could wash my casual clothes and fold them neatly. my eldest sister did the cooking. Every year my Dad announces new roles appropriate for your age. So before we got to JSS 3, we were all gurus in house keeping. We never had any maid again till we all left the house. The initial stage may not be easy but pays off in the end. Children are part of the family and should be allowed to hold responsibility suitable for their age. 5 Likes |

Despite the harsh reality of Covid 19 pandemic on the financial strength of the average Nigerian. This only thing this greedy folks can think of is fee hike. This cuts across most universities, even University of Lagos nicodemusly did same for transcript collection and the likes. Prior to the lockdown they charged #5000, before on could say jack it is now #10k. What a country! |
Education / Re: Can 4.299 Cgpa Be Rounded Up As 4.30 In One's Transcript? by hupo: 7:30pm On Jul 14, 2020 |
It all depends on the computation approach adopted by your school ( Please consult your students' handbook if you have any) Most schools adopt the truncation method, meaning the any digit after the first two decimal place is insignificant and would not be rounded off. There are special cases like 2.499, 3.499 and 4.499. If it is spotted early in the department by the examination officer, could be raised at the departmental board meeting. Perhaps an upgrade to one course could effect the needed result. That is if there is a general consensus. However, nothing can change the results once it gets to the records unit without any input from the department. Once you have graduated, it is a closed case. |
