This policy was forced down the throat of Nigerians effortlessly without any resistance. This present day government is a good representation of what the devil does. Gives you a small morsel and takes away your entire food storage. |
Story for the gods |
[quote author=EliteBiz post=91217841]If you don't know, if you are not aware, if you lack knowledge, listen now!!! The words that come out of your mouth is powerful (even what you text about yourself is powerful). Always speak blessings to yourself, if someone speaks curse to you, counter it with blessings from your mouth. This is not religion, This is reality. Humans are spiritual being covered with physical suit(flesh/body). We are living in a generation with a very low knowledge of that which matters most, The Spiritual realm. The spiritual realm (what you cant see) controls the physical realm (what u see). Your thoughts, imaginations, words of your mouth and everything you do with your body is not just for fun. Shalom. RIP to the dead This reminds me of Da grin " if I die" |

[quote author=LaJose78 post=91096711]Like this post I saw on this blog, I hereby throw the question to you guys on NL. https://punchng.com/at-what-age-should-an-adult-leave-their-parents-house/ For me age is not a matter especially in Nigeria. As long as you are above 18 and can hustle and you have a plan. You're good to go. The moment I landed a job after graduation, I know it was time to leave. In Kenny Rodger's line " you got to know when to..... |

[quote author=tonididdy post=91074603]: Like it or Not this is the life he wanted... ...he didn't want you to like him. He just lived his life to the fullest. He was ready for these "times" You don't make money illegally and flaunt it to the world and your victims included. HE WAS READY FOR THIS BUT IN ALL "DUDE LIVED THE GOOD LIFE ", it was short but he lived it. All incriminating documents were in his residence. He had no need to hide it, again I say, " He was ready for the consequences ". No be only, Perhaps he thought his Jazz would bind fold his victims and watchdogs for ever. Jazz fails, ask Anini and the rest. Only God never fails. Doubt if he ever did anything meaningful with the " loot". |
I beg to differ from your point of view. Marriage consent is the exclusive right of the two individuals involved. They decide whether or not to be married Secondly, the joining of the couple is the exclusive right of the Parents. Every other thing is secondary. The moment a man pays dowry on a woman. Heaven recognises them as husband and wife. Priest/Pastors performs this role just to remain relevant. |
An African adage goes "he whom the gods want to kill they first make mad. Have this at the back of your mind that you are responsible for what you become in life, parents are there only to offer you guidance and if you chose to derail, that's your palaver. Strictness, discipline are not as bad as you put it. Have you wondered by students tend to perform better in course handle by their so called "strict teachers/ lecturers". Judas Iscariot despite being with Christ chose to be way ward, perhaps you were the "black sheep" in the family. |
All I know is that world over, there exist a pandemic called Covid-19 while what we have here in Nigeria is "Covid-419" |
Received Prof., Thank you very kindly. |
All of this drama is just a diplomatic way of telling the present day government that they are corrupt. |
[quote author=wip7 post=29240256]Good day Prof., Kudos to your priceless contributions to this thread. I hold both M.Sc and B.Eng degrees in Chemical Engineering, both from Nigerian Universities and intend to pursue a PhD in heterogenous catalysis in the same discipline. My interest is geared towards biodiesel production from waste oil. I bumped into one of our comments indicating you had at one time researched into this area. Please any chance you could send me links to your research article in the afore mentioned area. I need to bring myself up to speed regarding resent "happenings" in that area and perhaps broker further conversation with you. Best Regards! |
From the video, I could hear her say " Oga mi leti" meaning he slapped me. Unfortunately, that wasn't captured on camera. In as much as I do not subscribe to the woman avenging for herself, there are indications that she may have be hit by the officer. |
Is it also under the "exclusive list" not to have their states mentioned. Something is fishy here |
Very commendable, I must say. May I also commend all who have shown acts of charity during this trying period. However, me think recipients should be allowed to enjoy their privacy. In other words, Mr/Mrs "CHARITY" keep your camera at home |
He was lucky not to have died in the US or UK cos his family and loved ones wouldn't have had any chance to bid his corpse farewell. Your guess would be as good as mine. I well agree that the dead should be paid their last respect. But not at the expense of the living. This is a pandemic and evidence abounds how it spreads like wildfire. |
@aminulive, Please do the needful and tell us the fact |
What a shame! Despite all the internal revenue generated from this local government. |
[quote author=stanliwise post=88357220]What makes medical an exceptions? You or God? Please give this question a thought. What could lead one to crave or desire to masturbate? |
stanliwise:What is evil is evil, it is like asking where "Rapture" is written in the bible. Masturbation is a sexual act. Sexuality should be exercise within the confines of marriage otherwise it is sinful. There may be an exception, perhaps under medical condition(if necessary) for the unmarried |
stanliwise:Suffix to say that a fine line cannot be drawn between the two because there is not difference in their end results. |
The answer is Yes and No It is "No" in the sense that God answer prayers when and how he wants it. Therefore in relation to God it doesn't work that way. In relation to the powers of darkness and rulers of this world, it is absolutely Yes. They are more vulnerable between 12-3 a.m. The argument should be whether or not such actions be termed prayer. Here most people call it "prayer" but what we do during these period is talking to situations using the word of God. In summary we pray to God and speak the word of God to situation. eg. The temptation of Jesus |
Proverb 4: 23 makes it clear - Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it proceeds the issues of life. What one feeds his heart with constantly whether consciously or unconsciously is what one gradually becomes. In essence, I am what I think. Before one engages in masturbation, it comes as a thought, if not countered at that instance, the mind natures it and if there is no further resistance. it materializes into the act. The best way is to have the word of God handy at heart such that as the thought comes in, the wordplay of God is there to resist it. I encourage you to take refuge in God's word whenever such thought comes up, make a commitment to always overcome and before long it will become a thing of the past. That said, the bulk lies with you. Do you have that resolve to turn a new leaf, if yes, then God has got your back covered. Stay Blessed. Happy Resurrection Sunday! |
mammaafura:There is no harm in trying. I over heard one of the panelist say two candidates did not show up for the interview. Just give it a try. |
mammaafura:There is no harm in trying. The grading was done real time. You could be considered cos I over heard one of the panelist say two candidates were absent. |
mammaafura:Has mine today, Arrived Enugu from Uyo and heading back at the moment |
Points to note. Be confident and convince them of your mastery in your chosen area of research but do that with humility. Also try to make your first 2 minutes with them catchy. They were just glued to what I said and every one showed interest. Accept corrections if any but diplomatically make your thought clear if it didn't correlate with established fact in literature. they were nice people, I must say and your composure will earn you their respect. Done my best, God will do the rest. All the best |
mammaafura:OK then |
Good morning All, Enugu centre wasn't mentioned in the PTDF press release. Does it mean status quo will be maintained there. Please who else is at the Enugu Centre for the interview |
flyjustice:how authentic is this information? I have moved to the location for the interview |
SOLARPOWER1:In what way did you present the relevance of renewable energy to the oil and gas sector given that its is seen globally as s next substitute to fossil fuel. |
