Heathrow44: av u ever wondered y is it that the good news u claim do not make it to front page or headlines, the reason is cos is such a rare occurrence for a naija girl to bring her bf over to the UK, is so rare that u re likely to find gold in ikorodu than for it to happen You seem to be getting it wrong + my analogy LOL If you check NL frontpage, you will see bad news about Nigeria 95% of the time. Does it mean that there is never good news in the entire country? My mom's friend brought her husband My friend's wife brought him My friend in Canada paid for her boyfriend and initiated application for him to come, he kept scamming her and squandering the money Tons of examples but I guess you only want to see the bad eggs maybe owing to personal experience |

Heathrow44: Ur fiancee has immigrated to UK, and u think she would come over after 5yrs to pick u up? Is only Nigerian men that has been known to do that, women are unfeeling and cruel, they would never help a man unconditionally unless u re her brother, did she tell u she doesn't av siblings or even relatives Man, this is all shades of untrue - and because you have heard of Nigerian women doing this does not mean it applies to all of them Thing is, you tend to always hear about the rubbish ones who got to the UK and abandoned those back home Ever wondered why you never hear of the tons of marriages that have weathered the storm for 25+ years but only the bad divorces? In Mass Communication, they say bad news is good news |

Amarathripple0: Yea it’s actually possible, you don’t need to have a job to get a visa like the Global Talent Visa. Even though I’m not sure what type of Visa her friend is on but if she’s on a skilled worker Visa without a job, then she’d definitely get a job so I’m not sure why her friend is worried about her. Well, not having all the information can make you worried |

Never heard of that before actually or maybe i didnt bother to check I believe it depends on her skillset however but she should be able to get support or care roles to keep body and soul together whilst looking for that which she wants |

Also, we sometimes struggle in the UK cos we support families back home. Show us the way o. Which roles pay that much apart from PM and maybe Devops? The supporting families thing is true. 2kurupt: What has now brought Didier Drogba into a Timo Werner transfer news?
Why won't RVP have more goals when he played more games and spent 11 years in the EPL as against 9 by Drogba. Drogba will always be rated highly for scoring in decisive games and winning more silverware.
We Africans like to look down upon ourselves LOL e say decisive come turn am to racism |

Many are in the UK not because condition bad baje.
The conditions in Nigeria are relative and the "government cost" for basic things are near socialist standards, making room for all strata of the demography.
But this UK... Nah just light, credit (a trap) and passport dem get. People earning £700+/day will beg to differ |
