Please o
HMRC said I owe £120 and I have been trying to pay since but I am unable to pay on their platform. Sent them a msg and got this but it's a bit confusing, I think the letter was even sent to my old address
Due date is April and I thought they would be deducting it from my monthly pay but it appears I have to pay using a card or something

ambale: Why do I have the feeling that even if we restructure, with these same sets of politicians we still going nowhere
These guys just want to be feeding fat on the country's resources
Imagine that Lagos alone is doing fine than about 50% states in Nigeria, but all governors and political appointees are living large
If we can be prudent and bring in accountability perhaps we might not really need the restructuring it will be different, trust me It means Govs wont be able to hide under FG for their insanity |

Why are Nigerian leaders so against restructuring when its obvious that's the only thing that can make Nigeria move forward or achieve anything tangible? |

People cheated themselves from CAS to visa application and now chicken has come home to roost and we are acting sympathetic? Nah!

jedisco: Continued naira devaluation might have meant home sources of funds might not be able to meet up. Also, influx of care workers + dependents has meant usual 20hr jobs have not been as easy to come by. Some also didn't have reasonable funds initially and now have to face the reality
I wonder how many would fare in the longterm (after PSW) with the new work visa rules. Well, good points Remains to be seen sha. Hopefully things get better cos mehn, its starting to look one kain and the UK gov will also be observing these things |

Viruses: Things are no longer the way they were, it was easy to get part time jobs but not anymore because full time workers are now in abundance so employers prefer them.
I used to be an advocate of "come, you will hussle and survive, don't let anybody discourage you", but with the financial burden and emotional stress I have got to bear from students this period, my guy, I won't discourage you o, but I will tell you before you come that you should not count on me. True sha Hopefully things will free up now following the student dependent ban |

Mindlog: It is children social care sector and you have to work in the homes and climb the ladder: Residential support worker-Senior residential support worker-Team leader-Assistant home manager-Registered home manager and a smart person can achieve all these by end of his/her of 5 years skilled worker visa.
The beautiful thing is that residential children homes are money spinners, becoming a registered home manager you can set up your own homes.....each YP in residence, properly managed and meeting all Ofsted regulations, can get you 5 figure profit per month, that is why Zimbabweans are controlling the industry. So, I cant run Managerial stuff from the Residential support worker one? Been there like 2 years as a student and Im not a skilled worker visa yet. Going to see how it goes after 1 year on PSW first to try my hands at my preferred tech pathway I'm interested in the money spinning part abeg . Is it easy to register? I have seen a couple of Ghanaian guys there |
