DELE GIWA The murder of the founding editor of News watch, Dele Giwa, on October 19, 1986 can be said to have triggered a boom of high profile murders which are yet to be unraveled by the police. The colorful and celebrated journalist died via a parcel bomb. ALFRED REWANE Elder statesman and NADECO financier, Pa Alfred Rewane, was murdered at his Ikeja, Lagos home in 1994. The case has been on since with the trial of suspects who pleaded not guilty to the heinous crime. An avowed critic of military dictatorship, Rewane was also a big businessman. KUDIRAT ABIOLA Wife of acclaimed winner of Nigeria presidential election held on June 12, 1993, Mrs. Kudirat Abiola was also felled by assassin’s bullets very close to the Lagos-Ibadan Express toll gate in 1994. Late General Sani Abacha’s boy, Hamzat Al-Mustapha and others are still being tried for the politically motivated murder. BOLA IGE Former Governor of Oyo State and later, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Bola Ige, was also murdered under mysterious circumstances. That was on December 23, 2001. He was killed at his residence at Ibadan, Oyo State. His family have since given up on the case resigning themselves to fate. OBI WALI The seed of murder was sowed in the Niger Delta region of Nigerian when Ikwere, River State born politician of progressive inclination, Dr. Obi Wali, was brutally murdered in his Port Harcourt residence. Although the police questioned his wife back then in the early 90s, the case died just like that. MARSHAL HARRY Incidents of politically motivated killings continued in the South-South with the murder of All Nigeria Peoples Party chieftain, Chief Marshal Harry, on March 5, 2003. Like Ige and Rewane, he was killed at home. Nobody is serving any jail term for the crime. AMINOSARI DIKIBO The obnoxious wind of death has never stopped blowing in the South as another big politician. Chief Aminasoari Dikibo, was also killed on February 6, 2004. The killers of the PDP National Vice Chairman (South South) were never apprehended, though the police allegedly adopted a face-saving tactics of parading some armed robbers as the suspects. OGBONNAYA UCHE It was the turn of South East on February 8, 2003. That was sad day unknown gunmen killed Chief Ogbonnaya Uche, ANPP senatorial candidate for Orlu zone at his Owerri,. Imo State home. His killers are yet to be brought to book. ANDREW AGOM A member of PDP Board of Trustees and former boss of Nigeria Airways, Chief Andrew Agom, was also killed on March 4, 2004. Agom was on the entourage of the former Benue State governor, Senator George Akume, when the ugly incident happened. ALABI OKOJU Death returned to the South West on May 15, 2005 with the murder of leading financier of Oronmiyan Group, a socio-political organization, Alabi Okoju, at Gbongan by suspected assassins. IGWE BARNABAS The Onitsha branch chairman of Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Chief Igwe Barnabas, was felled by suspected assassins’ bullets on September 10, 2002. He was killed alongside his wife, Mrs. Abigail Amaka Barnabas. ODUNAYO OLAGBAJU Hon. Odunayo Olagbaju was killed on December 21, 2001. Before he was brutally murder by suspected assassins, Olagbaju represented Ile-Ife constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly. FUNSHO WILLIAMS Death crept into the Centre of Excellence on July 2006. The victim was Lagos PDP governorship aspirant, Engineer Funsho Williams. He was killed at his Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos home. The police are yet to identify his killers, about four years after. AYO DARAMOLA Former World Bank consultant and PDP governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Dr. Ayo Daramola, was also murdered in 2006. The police are still investigating the murder. GODWIN AGBROKO The death of chairman, This Day Editorial Board, Mr. Godwin Agboroko, was another challenge to the police. His killers, till date, have not been unmasked. ABAYOMI OGUNDEJI Another ThisDay journalist, Mr. Abayomi Ogundeji, was murdered on August 17, 2008. Though the police are alleging armed robbery, those who know better are insisting that his death may have been politically motivated. BAYO OHU Another pen pusher and Assistant News Editor of TheGuardian Newspapers, Bayo Ohu, was also killed, leaving law enforcement agencies guessing ‘who dun it’. BAGAUDA KALTO Mr. Baganda Kalto of the News magazine was abducted from his room in Durbar Hotel and murdered during the Abacha dictatorship and so far, there are no dues yet as to who did it. CHARLES NSIEGBE Again, on November 21, 2009, another politician, this time a political associate of Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, Chief Charles Nsiegbe, was wasted in the street of Port Harcourt. The Nigeria Police are still running from pillar to post to find a clue to the brutal murder that shocked the good people of Rivers State and the nation at large. DIPO DINA The circle was upped again on Monday, January 25, 2010, as suspected assassins shot and killed Otunba Dipo Dina. The late politician was the AC governorship candidate in 2007, popularly called DD-Direct, the accountant met his death around Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State. The question, as the police are investigating the death is, who is the next victim? |
55 Years Ago we were Urged by Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa... On October 1, 1960, Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa urged us to "move with quiet dignity to our place on the world stage." On October 1, 2003, the world stage is defined by such technologies as personal computers, the Internet and mobile phones. The 21st century will be the century of knowledge and the century of technological developments and a century in which the intellectual capital of a nation will drive its economic growth. It is therefore imperative that we invest in our children's education, not only so that they can flourish in a world that demands technological literacy, but so that we can harness their creativity in building our nation. Our investments in education and technology will be our legacy to our children. They are investments that will bring the best out of the next generation of Nigerians and enable us to reach our potential as individuals, as communities, as a nation. There is an old saying: "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will never be hungry." The art of fishing and self-sustenance is more valuable than having a fish on your plate. For Nigerians in particular, this parable reminds us that developing our human resources is more valuable than exploiting our natural resources. My brothers and sisters, we invest in education because it will enable us to build a better Nigeria. Our children will be the beneficiaries tomorrow of the collective decisions that we adults make today. When we invest in our children, we will find that our collective standard of living will grow, too. The real leaders of this nation are ordinary people with the extraordinary determination and foresight to invest in their children's education. As we answer Prime Minister Balewa's call and march towards the world stage, let us also remember that our common interests - in our nation, and in our children - outweigh our differences. We are greater than the sum of the fears that have kept us divided in the past as a people. As we pause to celebrate our nation's 43rd birthday, please take time to remember that most Nigerians who celebrated our nation's first birthday are no longer among us. We honor their memory and legacy by showing our love for our family and friends, our respect for each other, and reaffirming our oneness as a people. You owe it to our founding fathers and mothers, and to all Nigerians, to avow that wherever flags are flying, no one is more determined than you in ensuring that the Nigerian flag flutters high above those of many nations. Nigeria is a work in progress and a country with enormous potential. Our petroleum reserve is the envy of many other nations today, and the Nigerian people have an unstoppable determination, internal fortitude and indomitable spirit that give me hope for the future. I greet all Nigerians with love and respect, and send you my best wishes for a joyous Independence Day.

Dannyset:Those who manage and advise PMB must be keenly aware of all three in any policy or action of the administration,” |
The first thing to recognise is that such emergence was the fault of the President who had, ab initio, declared that he would not interfere in the election of principal officers of the NASS (National Assembly). |
Former Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, Eddie Iroh, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari, the presidency as well as the President’s advisers to adopt care in handling the current legal challenges faced by Senate President Bukola Saraki. Saraki, recently arraigned on a 13-count charge by the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, was also allegedly booed by protesters who disrupted the Sallah prayers at Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on Thursday. Iroh, who blamed President Buhari for the emergence of Saraki as the Senate President with his assumed neutrality in the choice of the leadership of the National Assembly, warned Buhari not to be seen as using his might to muzzle the Senate President for political reasons, which is gradually becoming a major perception in the country. The analyst, while maintaining that he was not sympathetic to Saraki, warned that the rule of law must be seen to be obeyed in the trial of the Senate President because Saraki’s victory at the tribunal could be a major defeat for the country’s judicial system and the much touted war against corruption. “Now nothing in the foregoing analysis can be construed by any fair minded person to represent a defence of Saraki or against the substance and merits of the charges against him. “Not only do I not know Saraki from Adam and Adamu, I couldn’t care two brass buttons if he is sent to Kirirkiri for a thousand years if found guilty as charged. “But if the rule of law must mean rule of law, then due process must not be trampled upon on the journey to justice. “For, if Saraki should overturn the charges against him even on the minutest of technicalities it will be a resounding defeat for both the judicial process and the war against corruption.” Stressing that he was only analysing the situation without bias, Iroh, who expressed his opinion on his Facebook wall, said: “let us try to examine the matters arising without being APC, PDP, Yoruba, Hausa or Muslim. That should not be difficult if the pursuit of truth is the objective of any public discourse. “It is common knowledge that Saraki emerged as Senate President against the preference of President Buhari. The first thing to recognise is that such emergence was the fault of the President who had, ab initio, declared that he would not interfere in the election of principal officers of the NASS (National Assembly). “It is on record also that his predecessors OBJ (Olusegun Obasanjo), (Umaru) Yar’Adua and GEJ (Goodluck Ebele Jonathan) were not indifferent to that exercise in their own time. “Now if PMB’s preference of indifference is part of the message of change then he would be expected to accept the result and be seen to accept it, especially bearing in mind that no President can get much done if his administration is seen to have a frosty relationship with the legislature. “But as is also well known, the President has not been happy with the result of the NASS election of its officers…As Asaba woman would put it, what you bargained for is what you get.” In his analysis, Iroh listed timing, image and perception as three very critical factors in politics, adding that the trio was implicit in this drama being faced by Saraki. “Those who manage and advise PMB must be keenly aware of all three in any policy or action of the administration,” he warned. As reflected, he said the case currently against Saraki happened while the Senate President was a governor after which he became a lawmaker for four years without immunity. He also re-echoed Saraki’s argument at the CCT that the charges against him were not brought to his attention for defence as required by the law. “Note also that the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has been more or less in slumber land for years; even the third justice on their bench had not been replaced for a long time. “But suddenly the CCT sprang into action and in what appears to be unseemly haste, summoned Saraki for trial without ensuring the basic procedural requirement of prior notification.” According to Iroh, the perception that Saraki is being targeted as Buhari’s perceived enemy is a stigma that can hardly be ignored. |
When it comes to sex with women, many men think its about the size of the penis that satisfy the woman, but it isn't, if your penis is not less than 4 inches and not more than 7 inches, you dont have to worry about the size of your penis. From a scientific point of view, a woman's vagina will actually shrink or stretch according to your size, and from a sexual point of view, to a woman, 90% of her pleasure is phychological. if you want to give her better sex, then stop worrying about your size and start worrying about your skills as a lover. Its every woman dreams to be with a man that can last and last, and make her climax after climax. it may sound difficult to achieve, but it is very easy if you know the steps to follow. For you to be able to satisfy your woman and give her the sexual satisfaction she deserves you need to be able to last more than a couple of rounds, that means getting your penis up every time you release or you simply release (have orgasm) without ejaculating. Yes release without ejaculating, i know this sounds strange to the first timers, but thats the most effective way of going up to 6 rounds without releasing. Have you ever watched a typical blue film and the guy keeps pounding the girl for hours without ejaculating, and you think to your self maybe its on drugs or film trick, then when its time for him to release, he brings out his penis masturbate with his hand and he ejaculates. The truth is that he uses the same technique am about to discuss here. Every time he wants to come he releases (have orgasm) but he does not ejaculate the semen out, without the semen coming out he does not suffer any down time with his penis, it immediately starts again. Enough with the introduction, before you can achieve this, you need to master some techniques needed in the use. FIND YOUR PC MUSCLE (PC=Pubococcygeus ) A man that can control his penis, is a man in demand. Inorder to control your penis you need to be able to control what we call your PC muscle What is a PC Muscle: The Pc muscle is the muscle that controls the stopping of your urine when urinating, it is also used to stop the ejaculation process during sex. The PC Muscle is found at the bottom of your balls. To locate it, try to urinate and in the process of urinating, hold the urine, you will feel a muscle contract, that particular muscle is called the PC muscle. STRENGTHENING YOUR PC MUSCLE For you to be able to last longer in bed you need to strengthen your pc muscle, to strengthen your pc muscle you need to carry out some daily exercise on your PC muscle. You need to squeeze your PC muscle at least 20 times a day, hold it for 1 to 2 second every time you squeeze and as time goes on trying holding it for up to 10 to 15 seconds. KNOWING THE TIME BETWEEN ORGASM AND EJACULATION Lets Begin with a Biology lesson. Do you know that ejaculation actually occurs in two phases: emission and expulsion, In the emission phase of your ejaculation, semen starts to move through the vas deferens as muscles near the prostate gland begin to spasm. The semen then collects in the urethral bulb at the base of the penis. In the second phase of your ejaculation-the expulsion phase-the PC muscle starts to contract, forcing the semen up through the urethra and out of the penis. In a nutshell, here's what's happening. In the emission phase, semen from the testicles and prostate takes a little ride to the base of the penis, prodded along by the contractions of muscles near the prostate gland. In the expulsion phase, the PC muscle pushes the semen up through the penis and out into the world. The entire ejaculation process, emission and expulsion only takes about two seconds think about that for a moment. Now here is the Secret, for most men, the contraction of the PC during expulsion is an involuntary process. Once you take control of your PC muscle, however, you can voluntarily delay or prevent ejaculation. Yet your body still experience the full sensation of orgasm, complete with rapid heart rate, muscle contractions, and the intense sensation of release. Understanding the difference between emission and expulsion helps you learn to actually feel these two distinct phases of ejaculation as they are happening to you. HAVING ORGASM WITHOUT EJACULATION Now that you know your PC muscle and how to control it then you can apply it to your Biology lesson, when you are having sex and you are about to hit your expulsion stage after taking notice of your emission stage, you immediately pull the brakes with your PC muscle, squeezing it hard for up to 5 to 10 secs, open your eyes and stay still, immediately you will feel the full sensation in your body but you will not ejaulate, which means your penis will not come down, you will then continue having sex, now starting from the beggining again, then when you reach that stage you apply the same thing, then when you feel like releasing you release. |
Like all good witch hunts, truth is like art as what is morally wrong cannot be politically correct “YES” but APC shouldn’t forget political Risk-Based Approach might not just be the best tool, as some certain seg of party are turning a blind eye. Anyway our democracy in Nigeria demands a line be drawn somewhere. APC is an attempt through language to remove the belief in the evils that really do exist. The most politically incorrect word? Absolute. Waiting to see how it play out with them
|
After claiming he did not have the 27.5 million naira required for the APC presidential nomination papers and had to borrow it, Buhari now claims he has 30 million naira sitting pretty in his bank account. How does he account for this discrepancy? Some of us are also wondering where he got all the money used to finance his expensive election campaign. |

Timi Frank, Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC has written to President Muhammadu Buhari on Senate President, Bukola Saraki's current travails. Part of the letter obtained by POST NIGERIA read; ''Mr President, it is worthy to note that Saraki in recent times has been treated as an outcast. This is very bad development which if not carefully managed will consume the All Progressives Congress and doom our democracy. What has happened unfortunately does not reflect the change we promised Nigerians. “Is Senator Saraki the only Former governor in Nigeria? Are there no other former governors especially from the South West and other zones that are not just enjoying their booty but are integral part of the government? Yes, Saraki is not the anointed candidate for the senate presidency, but his colleagues elected him. So, why don’t we allow him some peace to deliver on the promises of change? “Mr President, the executive needs the legislature; hence, the relationship must be cordial because if this situation is not properly managed, Nigerians will be disappointed in us as a party, a development that portends unfavorable results when we go to the polls in 2019. “As far as Nigerians are concerned, it is very difficult to convince them that this orchestrated onslaught against Saraki is not a case of witch hunt. Nigerians are more politically aware now than ever. “Sir, you need to act to stop some of these people hiding under your good name to perpetuate this grievous evil. The begging for an answer is: If Saraki were not the Senate President, would all these acts of intimidation and maltreatment be visited on him? “Please, kindly intervene in good time to stop this apparent political persecution as some few people are now hiding under your name to reap political dividends from this. |
The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, yesterday expressed dismay at the Code of Conduct Tribunal’s order for his arrest. He also alleged persecution by those he said were using state institutions to fight their political opponents and seeking to achieve through the back door what they cannot get through democratic process. In a statement released in Abuja, Saraki said his dismay stemmed from the fact that the tribunal disregarded an earlier order by the Federal High Court in Abuja suspending hearing in the case till Monday. He said it was also a surprise that in spite of Saraki’s personality and an application by his lead counsel that he would produce him on Monday, the Tribunal insisted on issuing a warrant of arrest as if it was out to embarrass the Senate President. The statement, which was signed by Senator Saraki’s Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Yusuph Olaniyonu, reads: “Following the development in the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) today, Friday, September 18, 2015 when the Tribunal chose to ignore the subsisting order of a Federal High Court by sitting, we hereby state our position as follows: “While the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has stated and maintains that he is ready to submit himself to due process of the law on any issue concerning him, he also believes he has an inalienable right to resort to the same judiciary for protection when he feels his fundamental rights are about to be infringed upon. “It is for this reason that Dr. Saraki, having satisfied himself that the case filed by the CCB and the manner in which the case was filed show that he will not be given justice, resorted to the Federal High Court for the determination of the issues of competence of the prosecutor as well as compliance with the procedure stipulated in the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act. “The Federal High Court on Thursday, September 17, 2015, therefore ordered that all parties in the case should appear before it on Monday, September 21, 2015. The implication of this ruling by a Court of competent jurisdiction is that the sitting today has been overtaken by event. It is for this reason that Dr. Saraki chose to go about his normal official schedule. “Today at the Tribunal, Counsel to the Senate President, Mr. M. A. Mahmud (SAN), raised a motion stating that there is a pending constitutional matter before the Federal High Court to be decided on Monday and that the Tribunal should hold the trial until the constitutional matter is disposed of. “We are however dismayed that the Tribunal chose to disregard the order of the Federal High Court and the motion to suspend hearing till Monday when all parties are expected to argue their positions on the constitutional matter. “It is also a surprise to us that despite the application by the lead counsel to the Senate President that he will produce Dr. Saraki on Monday and the personality of the person involved as the number three man in the country, the Tribunal insisted on issuing a warrant of arrest as if its intention is simply to embarrass Dr. Saraki. “We are not unmindful of the fact that the Tribunal is acting under political influence and external pressure. This is dangerous to our democracy. “The conduct of the Tribunal today left nobody in doubt that it cannot do justice on the matter before it. “It is also clear that today’s decision is an abuse of the rule of law which portends danger to our judicial system. “The Tribunal has equally set a bad precedent in the way and manner it conducted itself during the proceedings. “We want to emphasise the fact that this is not part of any war against corruption but using state institutions to fight political opponents and seeking to achieve through the back door what some people cannot get through democratic process. “We need to caution here that in a desperate bid to settle political scores and nail imaginary enemies, we should not destroy our democratic institutions and heat the polity for selfish reasons. “Let us all learn from history.” , yesterday expressed dismay at the Code of Conduct Tribunal’s order for his arrest.
