@Earthgreener started the team fall 2013 since late last year, I started the team Spring/Summer 2013, so as not to make the forum a one way thing for only fall applicants and bore others who are not . I think it’s high time we started the team winter(January 2014) .

VCTROKOYE: I have collected my letter from vfs and the instruction is that i have to pay my one year tuition and accommodation within one month. I have the money for tuition($13,500) but i don't have enough for accommodation. pls how do i take care of this accommodation? after paying the tuition i will still have about $1500 left. That can't take care of accommodation

Bro don't fret...from previous post about accommodation i learnt that all you need to secure a space is to pay for the first and last month, all you need do is check if your school has any link with off-campus accommodation,if not, check www.kijiji.ca. I believe that should do it.All the best.Cheers.

Is early though, its just a counter-anxiety measure...waiting till like end of June before visiting CDHC if nothing has been heard isnt too bad.

Noswaa: A friend submitted on 25th March and up till now he have not heard any thing from the embassy,could this be a sign of what?

@Vctorokoye just got is medical call and he submitted 2 days after your friend had submitted, tell your friend to chill till the end of this week and if nothing happens he should visit CDHC for application enquiry.

VCTROKOYE: My guys I just got a mail(not thru VFS) from Canadian embassy asking me to proceed for medical within 60 days. I can't find any information about the accommodation or tuition fee payment. At what time should I get information to make my payments please.
I submit my application on 27 March.

Congrats man...Since there's holz 2mao, go to VFS on thurs, CDHC must have sent your package to them by then and you will get the necessary information about payment in your package.Which school did you apply to?

IELTS is an examination administered by the British Council. You dont have to go to their office at Thompson Ave,Ikoyi to register if you aren't in Lagos. I registered from outside Lagos by raising a bank draft of #35000, filling the form on-line and submitted a copy of the data page of my int'l passport, all docx was sent to their office via post. http://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/

Some of us here blindly argue and support all that we see on CNN or support anything done by this Westerners. A Guy shot kids early this year in American, he wasnt labelled a Terrorist but a Lunatic... If that same guy had any form of affiliation(origin or whatever) to Islam he would have been labelled a Terrorist. Kultony: I have been an ardent reader of this thread. I really commend the organizers of this as it has really helped a lot of people in making an effective application for Visa.
I submitted my application on 14th of March,2013 and hasn't heard anything since then. I would want to know people that submitted around this period and if any has gotten response.

I want to believe your start date is for fall, if so, give them about a month or so, and afterwards if you don't get any reply you could go to CDHC for status inquiry.

I submitted my application through vfs on 02 Apr, 2013 and so far I have not been contacted by anyone or gotten any official info except anytime I track my passport I get a notice of my package been processed in d canadian high commission and that for more info I shud contact vfs, am aware it takes 4to 6months 4 processing but then I just wanna b sure am on d right track. Thnx

Its just the normal msg you get for tracking, if it were to be;
1. your application has been finalized and you need to contact vfs
or
2.Contact vfs for further instruction,
Both means something different, though, i didn't use their exact words.

Lol ... B4 d dv lottery result came out, u would almost mistake dt thread for a REVIVAL because na so so prayers,yet wen d results came out... . This visa quest from searching for schools, applying, getting admission and then to CDHC's stage could be frustrating and even make some people to bcom religious, srzly, I ought to b frustrated now wiv d effort I put in esp to convince my dad to support my plight ... here I am denied for May start date and didn't get admission for sept start date, buh wetin man wan do.
"I may not be where I want to be but definitely where God wants me". Just a piece of advise to those dt av submitted since,those dt jst submitted and those abt 2 submit, dnt build ur life solely on Canada dreams to avert breakdown if nt issued TRV...I aint bn pessimistic, I am only trying 2 b realistic.

My good peeps in d house,wats good?. I jst tot I shud update d house wit my UNBC admission, I wasn't admitted because of unavailability of supervisor to match my research interest,though, I was said to be qualified for d prog.
I am looking at Jan start date in Humber college and I have sent my docx, hopefully by June I shud send my docx to CDHC for processing once I get my admission letter..I want 2 blief dt CDHC won't ponder on my decision to go for PG wiv a 2.1 CGPA.

@Oga siga... While I await UNBC response, I have looked into Humber and Centennial college courses, I intend applying for financial planning/ global biz mgt but I jst can't make a choice btw these schools. Which do you think have a better provision for business related courses?

Siga: ....Read his last post on the previous page....his masters program requires him to do some courses before moving to the masters prog proper....the courses starts May (next month) while his masters is in Sept....so, if he gets to the school after the courses don start that means he cant start his masters....so, na the school mess the guy up, based on wat he told us...

Like I said ystday, I believe it ws d pre-requisite prog because d admission was conditional on me passing wiv 75% before progressing for masters,the VO must have assume that "what if this guy fails and we have given him like 1/2 yrs visa". Pls if u av a conditional offer, make sure u explain satisfactorily how u intend meeting the conditions.

Hello house, no cogent reason was given for my denial, its their normal denial template wiv NOT CREDIBLE as other reason. I still await UNBC though, and my agent suggest Humber and centennial college for january start.

I think it should be the pre-requisite courses that my department require of me; actually my masters programme start by September and the pre-requisite by May but I must pass the pre-requisite courses with at least 75% to progress to the master programme. Am still waiting for september admission with University Northern British Columbia. "Never say die"-Duracell.I rily appreciate you guys.

Like I promised this morning to update the house on the outcome; without saying much, I was denied visa but I am yet to know the reason(s) for denial...Once I get back from my agent's office tomorrow i sure would let the house know the reason(s) for denial. @Earthgreener...I would let you know about my admission decision to UNBC so as to update your list for September.
