I hope you are aware of foundational problems faced by many as a result of the gods their fathers worshipped but if you've not experienced any I wonder why you should not let the sleeping dog lay. on the issue of where olden days traditional worshippers will go I don't think you have the discretion to query that because that will not change anything rather you should rather search yourself to know if your way is right with God
