1. Jonathan didn't promote true democracy. He lacked the power to prevent registration of political parties. If anything, democracy suffered a big set-back in his time when he made 16 to be greater than 19 and allowed 5 lawmakers to sack Ekiti's HOA authentic speaker and other members. He also used soldiers to intimidate and arrest opposition figures in Osun and Ekiti.

2. Again, he had no choice with the election that sacked him from Aso Rock. We remember vividly how his party opposed the use of PVC and card reader because they saw clear defeat. It was to have a chance at rigging or derailing the election they shifted the poll from February 14. What about all the bribing and inducements we saw and others being revealed now?

3. Similar to number one and two. Opposition parties won elections before he became president. And opposition parties will win elections after he has left office.

4. Freedom of speech indeed. What could he have done to deny media houses freedom of speech? As brutal as OBJ was, he couldn't silence opposing views. 5. It was not GEJ that opened up Nigeria to foreign investments. Nigeria had long been attracting foreign investments before GEJ. And if you have any evidence to support your claim, bring it up.
