lioness:That was why I said I see Catholics as the same with Deeper Life, Jehovah Witnesses and Cele. These groups of people see anybody outside their fold as a pathetic sinner who is not going to take part in the eternal bliss God has prepared for ONLY THEM. Hehehe, the rest of us are going to roast like cow leg in hell! |
I remember when I was selling sweets in my house. My sisters and brother bought everything and promised to pay later. When I asked for my money later, they threatened to report to Daddy that I'm selling sweets so I couldn't ask for my money again. |
It's either you are too wayward or she is too bossy or both! Please check with yourself very well and be honest about it. If you find out that you have been wayward, why don't you change for the better? If you find out that she is the one that has been too bossy, you can sit her down and talk to her. Tell her to please treat you as an individual - her daughter and not like some slave or stranger. If you are not bold enough to talk to her, you can drop her a very touching letter. Ask her to show you some love. If after this she still doesn't change, then you can ease yourself out of the house. At least you would know that you have tried. Hope this helps, I feel for you sweetie. |
I guess if anybody was honest with it, they won't be happy that their private info has leaked to the hands of some info-gatherer. |

God is a God of war and he commanded and led Israelites to many battles against their enemies. Whole generations, towns, cities were destroyed by children of God in the Bible. |
There are 2 yoruba ways of making it...let me discuss one. You need ground egusi, ground pepper, vegetable(efo), dried-fish or some other eroja(optional), Palm-oil, Seasoning(Maggi), Salt. Grind the egusi with blender, then heat and stir till the water dries up and the egusi forms clusters. Don't let it burn o! First you'll heat the palm-oil until smoke fills the whole house. ![]() The you'll fry the pepper paste in it. Add Seasoning and salt. You must have soaked vegetable in hot-water and cut it before. So add the cut vegetables. You could add dried-fish(and the other erojas) before or after this. Then add your clustered egusi and stir. Cook everything together and serve with Pounded yam. ![]() |
Lol, thank God I wasn't honest when filling it. I even gave a fake name. ![]() |
She looks like Angelina Jolie, sort of.(?) |
Ajisafe, I think you created this topic so that people can express their own opinion. So don't try to win people over to your side and don't attack anybody who goes against your views. You might think Wole Soyinka is the best while others might think Chinua Achebe is. Others might even think that none of the two qualify for the best african author. If we all agree that Wole Soyinka is the best, how much would you gain from that? And it is very very clear that you are the one who is voting along the tribal line! Read... Ajisafe: |
Your friend is WELCOME! |
Hahahaha...comparing nollywood with hollywood is laughable. A complete joke! |
NduGod:What is so unbecoming about Michelin89 not believing in God? Each with his own. If you believe in God, hold on to him and if you don't, fine! I think this is a virtual community that should accommodate people with different beliefs. So don't judge others based on their opinions or beliefs. You may try to convince her of God's existence but not in this manner!@Vexxy, chanfb, Oracle and Idollier If you read my reply to Seun's post, I have replied that fellowship with other believers does not necessarily mean church. Here... IAH: |
Another huge crush I had was one guy in my class back in my former school. He was clearly the most handsome guy in that class. Tall, dark and very handsome with sharp facial features...he looks like he was carved. And he had beautiful hands too! The kind of fingers I would like to go in my ***** I crushed on him till I left Nigeria. Seems like he had a crush on me too or was I just thinking so? ![]() |
Seun:Yes, I follow the Bible. Seun:"Assembling of ourselves together" as stated in this verse does not necessarily mean Church! If I go to my friend's house and we pray together and study God's word, that is still an assembly. The Bible says in Matthew 18:20; "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Seun:Who told you that the "them" being referred to in this verse are Pastors? |
With all their policies and standards, they are still not the best bank in Nigeria and I've still not heard that Access Bank has the highest annual turnover or profit. That means their so-called excellent standards are futile. |
layi:Yes, this was the soundtrack in the movie titled Thunderbolt (Magun)...so touching. layi:I'll love to listen to this. Anything from Styl-Plus is hmmmmmmmm |
debbielove:Who?!!!! ![]() |
Zizi:Let's stop talking about love here! If the lady truly loves the guy she should be willing to please, satisfy and allure him by doing her best to keep fit. |
nferyn:Sorry, that's another crap. What is the difference between a person and a human life? My dictionary simply defines a person as "A human being". That means a human that can be...this still translates to life. Isn't a foetus a potential person? |
I think it's BS to be grading life on whether it's 5 weeks or 4 months or 17 decades old! If you say a foetus less than 2 weeks old or whatever is not yet life then what is it? Death? If it can grow, then it is ALIVE...it is LIFE and so, a life or a potential life is lost when aborted. |
layi:True talk, bro. One can even manipulate his own conscience to justify himself. |
I'm a Christian But I Don't Need No Church! I'm a Christian but I'm saying Goodbye to all churches. I don't need one. Is there anything wrong with that? Can't I worship God in my room? Why do people think I'm not a serious Christian because I've chosen to stop going to church? Why must they try to drag me to church? Is it compulsory? Won't God answer my prayers in my room or would I go to hell because I have no church? I don't want to live by the doctrines/dictates of a human being like me who calls himself a Pastor. I just want to follow Jesus. Somebody tell me what's wrong with that? ![]() |
sade: Hahaha, that reminds me of a time we fought with our husbands in Awo because some boys were peeping through the fence while we were taking our bath outside, they ran away to Awo and those Awoites refused to release them to us. ![]() |
allonym:What if they weren't planning to get married before? |
jenny247:You got big eyes too? |

I have nothing against catholics. but you guys just sicken me with your self righteous bull rubbish and all others are the devil. I have lived, loved, dated, worked, quarrelled with a whole lot of you and its just the same discrimination against other religion. IT ISNT FAIR. its no one's fault that they belong to a different denomination that isnt catholics.
