At least Okocha watched. He said they (Ivorians) are very unlucky to be in this group. I hope they scale through and go far. |
Sports / Re: Germany 2006: Who Will Win The World Cup? by IAH(f): 11:26am On Jun 10, 2006 |
Yeah, their defence is weak. Nevertheless, I still won't rule them out. They are at home, you know. As for England, I better not say my mind. |
Family / Your Spouse Or Your Child: Who Comes First? by IAH(f): 3:07am On Jun 10, 2006 |
We've had so many threads on "Your spouse or your parents?", "Your mother or your wife", etc. Now let's see with kids. If the need arises, who would you give preference to? Who would you favour over the other? Your husband/wife or your kid(s)? For me, it'd be difficult to choose but in the end, maybe I would choose my husband o. Note: You can't choose both. |
Religion / Re: Is Satan Really Such A Bad Person? by IAH(f): 2:28am On Jun 10, 2006 |
I heard he's very very handsome , unlike the ugly picture that we all have of him. |
Family / Re: Wives Are More Faithful In Marriage? by IAH(f): 2:23am On Jun 10, 2006 |
Definitely. Wives are far more faithful than the husbands because they take marriage more seriously. Actually I've not really heard of a cheating wife (among the married people I know), could it be that they are good at covering up? But cheating husbands? haaaaa I've lost count right now. |
Sports / Re: Germany 2006: Who Will Win The World Cup? by IAH(f): 1:57am On Jun 10, 2006 |
Brazil, my husband's team, to win for sure. I want Ivory Coast to go far because of my 2nd husband. I'm surprised that many people are not mentioning Germany. You think they will host it just for fun? They stand a good chance of winning I think. |
Family / Re: Twins by IAH(f): 1:36am On Jun 10, 2006 |
I want me a set of twin daughters. Very beautiful! |
Computers / Re: Why Yahoo? by IAH(f): 7:18pm On Jun 06, 2006 |
kazey:Hun, you know that's not true. Check everywhere possible. Metricsmarket. NetCraft. Wikipedia. Google itself. Yahoo has more traffic. |
Computers / Re: Why Yahoo? by IAH(f): 6:19pm On Jun 06, 2006 |
kazey: At least, it's No 1 in traffic - Alexa ranking. Seun: Probably due to the fact I stated above? |
Travel / Re: Amusement Places For Kids In Nigeria by IAH(f): 6:11pm On Jun 06, 2006 |
Old Glory: I don't think so. Does Unilag have a zoo? But there's definitely the best zoo in UI,Ibadan and another fake zoo in OAU Ife. |
Business / Re: Please Help! Regular Courier Service Needed Urgently by IAH(f): 6:02pm On Jun 06, 2006 |
Depending on the weight of what you want to ship, you may try DHL Danzas. It's different from the normal DHL. Note that they have a minimum weight they handle, so you can only use it if you are shipping large volumes. |

Family / Re: If Your Husband Impregnates A Woman And Plans To Marry Her by IAH(f): 8:23pm On Jun 03, 2006 |
I'll have to get a divorce. God! I can't handle it. The mere thought that he cheated on me is enough to give me h-y-p-e-r-t-e-n-s-i-o-n. |
Religion / Re: Why Are Christians Always Trying To Convert You? by IAH(f): 6:29am On Jun 01, 2006 |
And hehe, I forgot to add. Sometime ago, I went to visit someone in Lautech Ogbomosho and on the wall of one house, they put boldly something like this; "Warning: It is an offence for outsiders to come and preach in this house. Offenders will be dealt with." And they also put the Yoruba translation. LOL! Those were not the exact words but it was something like that and I laughed and laughed when I read it. I'm sure any Bro or Sis who gets there to preach and reads that go quickly take style to reverse his/her Legedes Benz. |
Religion / Re: Why Are Christians Always Trying To Convert You? by IAH(f): 6:14am On Jun 01, 2006 |
MissEniola, you got me laughing my ass off. Especially with the referral part, lol hahahaha. I'm a Christian but to be honest, I feel you! What's with all these forceful conversion? Personally o, I don't open the door for the door-to-door folks whether it's evangelism or those forceful sales people. If I mistakenly open the door and they want to start preaching, I say thanks I'm also a Christian and they would still be saying "ok good. Tell us about your Christian life. How's your life with Christ?" and still talk talk talk. Annoying! Leave me alone!!! Lol Personally, I feel evangelism should only be by TV, Radio or magazine/newspaper pages whereby someone has a choice of changing the channels if you don't want to watch, or tuning to another station if you don't want to hear or flipping to the next page in the case of newspapers. It's like unobtrusive text ads on the internet where user can choose to click or not compared to pop-ups which is like 'in your face' and annoying. Those forceful people are pop-ups, lol. That's my own view o. |
Business / Re: Does Any Nigerian Bank Offer Maestro Cards? by IAH(f): 12:47am On May 30, 2006 |
Actually I also thought Maestro and Solo were 4 UK only because I've got a Maestro/solo card and they don't accept it on all the US sites I've tried. Don't know sha. |

That's not a funny joke, my dear. You could have just said this: omogenaija: Anyway, I think they sound alike. |
Music/Radio / Re: Please Help Me Find This Nigerian Song! by IAH(f): 11:17pm On May 28, 2006 |
Could it be KUSH? "Let's live together". |
Celebrities / Re: Atorise Vs. Dare Melody by IAH(f): 11:16pm On May 28, 2006 |
They both sing and sound alike. But I prefer Dare Melody. Actually, Atorise is more popular. I got to listen to Dare's songs on abeokuta.org, I didn't know him before. 2 Likes |

Adverts / Re: Palm Oil For Sale In Bulk (Nigeria) by IAH(f): 10:19pm On May 28, 2006 |
I have to find out that because I am not in Nigeria (and the person who is asking). But if you deliver to Lagos, how much is it? What of Benin? |
Religion / Re: Can You Marry Someone Who Doesn't Believe In God? by IAH(f): 10:06pm On May 28, 2006 |
Seun: All this one na story. All I know is that I aint ditching someone who possesses those enviable qualities you listed above just because he doesn't believe God. Haaa No Way!!! The only thing I can't tolerate is intolerance itself. I just hate it when people try to ridicule other people's beliefs. It's just not right. About children,The children should be allowed their own free will to decide. Even God gave man his own free will to "choose whom ye shall serve" so why shouldn't children be allowed their own free will? Forcing children to accept one's religious beliefs (or disbelief) does not work in the long run. No wonder we see children of Pastors going astray and children of non-religious people becoming staunch believers, children of Imams becoming Christians, etc. As a child, I was exposed to different kinds of beliefs, but I chose the one makes the most sense to me!! By the way, Nferyn is an atheist married to a Christian. I would like to hear some practical views. |

Benbella, someone said I should ask you "How much do you sell 20 litres for?" |
Religion / Re: Can You Marry Someone Who Doesn't Believe In God? by IAH(f): 2:49pm On May 28, 2006 |
2cantango: Exactly! And that is what we call Tolerance. I think it's selfish to want others to respect one's belief/disbelief when you don't respect others' own. |
Investment / Re: Zenith Bank Shares Offer: Opportunity Or Hype? by IAH(f): 2:46pm On May 28, 2006 |
For real, you need 25 billion Naira to start a bank in Nigeria. I'm not joking. And about the shares, sorry I don't do shares. Maybe you should start a new topic to call on interested people? |
