The African Human Rights Moot Court Competition which is the largest gathering of students, academics and judges around the theme of human rights in Africa. This annual event brings together all law faculties in Africa, whose top students argue a hypothetical human rights case as if they were before the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights. The Competition aims to prepare a new generation of lawyers to argue cases of alleged human rights violations before the African Court. Since its creation in 1992, 145 universities from 50 African countries have taken part in its permanent fixture on the Africa legal education calendar. The Moot has been a catalyst for the establishment of the leading programmes in the field of human rights teaching and research in Africa. The 26th African Human Rights Moot Court Competition was organised by the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria in collaboration with the University of Mauritius from 18 to 23 September 2017 in Réduit, Mauritius. This year, the event brought together 45 Anglophone, 6 Francophone and 3 Lusophone teams. This year, amongst the many federal and state universities in Nigeria, Nigeria was well represented only by the Lagos State University. The team made up of two students and a lecturer, Timilehin Joshua Ojo, Ojelabi John Olaitan and Dr. R. O. Olaoluwa made a great representation of the country. The LASU team went against teams from Kenya, Sudan, Etiopia and Ghana. After the brillant performance in the rounds, the team sailed with a total of over 70% ranking so high amongst others. The representation was made possible through the full support of His Excellency, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Governor of Lagos State.

helpsystem:Leave respect. Why do they have to just keep killing characters I am beginning to love. Goodbye Yara and the Dorne fam. Theon is so cockless and deserves death, why are they still keeping him alive? Why? Something tells me Sansa is going to do something she'll regret and Jon is off. Arya's reunion with nysteria (hope I spelt correctly) turned sour. Finally, I agree with the tyrell grandma. Dany has to be a dragon, Tyrion might be wise and clever however, his plans have clearly failed. The ambush was too emotional for me.
