It's high time we stopped categorising Christianity as one of the religions. Christianity is not a religion. God did not create any religion. Religions were formed by men to separate people based on their beliefs, whereas God created man as one. God formed man and gave him dominion over the world (Gen. 1:27-28). But man lost that power through disobedience (Gen. 3).

Now because of God's mercy and perfect sacrifice of Jesus, man has the chance to obtain the power of dominion again if he accepts the Lordship of Jesus Christ (His death, burial and resurrection), Rom 10:9-10. That's where Christianity (eternal life, the life of God working in man) comes to bear.
The event in Antioch (Acts. 11:26) brought about the name Christian - meaning "like Christ".
Therefore, Christianity is used not as a religion, but for those who are the body (Church) of Christ, who have the same life that Jesus Christ has.

In Christianity God has given man Three Cardinal Gifts:
1. Eternal Life. (Rom. 6:23, Tit. 1:1-3, 2Tim. 1:10)
2. Righteousness. (Rom. 5:17)
3. The Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)
And these gifts cannot be found in any religion, except in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I'm amazed at what some persons who claimed they are Christians are commenting. When you study the Holy Bible and allow the Spirit of God for guidance, you'll understand that:
1. Christianity is not a religion. It's the life of God lived outwardly. Jesus did not come to give us a religion but a life that we can live more abundantly.
2. Our hearts as Christians are the true alter of God in which He dwells. The literal church alter/building is only holy when Christians are present there. We are the true temple of God. So the church is for perfecting people and not for perfect people.
To be a better Christian, you have to emulate Christ and that's only possible when you study and believe God's word in the Bible.

That's out of context read the verse properly. It says "Head" not hair. Head and hair are two different things. Moreover, if you read properly you'll see that it says the hair is already a covering for the head.
