God did not get angry.

God is wise and all knowing. Everything happens for his will and he knows everything before they happen. In fact, everything that happens is of his doing.

God already knew the snake would tempt Eve and that is why he put it there. It knew Eve would tempt Adam, eat the apple and that it will punish them by roasting them in hell fire.

Everything happened because God loves the smell of suya grin

The self-acclaimed christian jewish almighty god lost his cool because two children ate an apple. As if that wasn't comic relief enough, he still went ahead to destroy the world over an apple...

Obviously, The christian god called Yahweh didn't see the virus coming or forgot to warn his over 1billion+ worshipper's accross the world!
Neither did Allah, and the rest of the imaginary fictional characters from every religion out there!

So, all the time that no-one went to the places of their fake worship grounds to worship this imaginary beings, did the earth stop moving?

Use your head, religion is a ruse! Except you are making money from it, stay away from it. It will Always end in your religious brethren eating rice and drinking beer on top your head...Just like everyone else!

Is life needed?. Do you want to live?.

If life is needed and you want to live, and God alone can give life, then God is the number one priority. If He takes away life, how can anybody achieve the things you listed above?.

God is too merciful, otherwise this kind of question will never arise.

EducationRe: At What Age Should Children Be Exposed To Religious Views? (national Discourse) by IamMichael(op): 1:32pm On Jul 07, 2020
IMAliyu:
I didn't exactly grow up without a religion, my family is Muslim and we did have a mallam that came to our house 2-3 days a week for 1-2hours to teach us how to recite Quran no shouting or beating similar to a lesson teacher which was pretty much it.
Things like how to perform the Muslim 5 daily prayers, and other parts of the religion I thought myself, by reading books from my dad's library after feeling that I had considerably inadequate knowledge of the religion compared to my friends.
My mother came from a mixed Muslim Christian family meaning a number of my family members had a different religion which made me considerably tolerant. Celebrate Salah in our house, and celebrate Christmas in my grandmother's house.
But in turn I was pretty much naive of the level of intolerance and religious zombie mentality out there, until I entered Uni and saw the true nature of things.

As a result of my personal experience, I don't have that much of a negative view of religion, despite being fully aware of it's pathology and flaws now.
That's very commendable bro. Discovering of self makes us more tolerant than everyone else because we understand exactly the point religious folks are coming from.

IMAliyu:
How do you suggest this becomes enforced then? In a non Orwellian manner.

I still plan on exposing my children to religion and culture, but not only that together with philosophy, contrary religious views and cultures, and tools for critical thought if possible from the age they can understand stories. When they grow up, and choose to go their own way that's fine by me.
I won't force religion down their throats like my parents didn't to me (was super lucky), unlike some of my mates that were sent to islamiyya and were constantly beaten and made to memorize quran.
On the subject of beating, I don't believe in it and won't allow anyone to hit them, not a mallam or a teacher in school having had sadistic abusive teachers myself.
Wow!

You are one of the lucky few in this our part of the world their parents didn't force religion on. You are also an example that people who are not forced to subscribe to a particular religion will also grow up and allow their children experience such freedom.
This is wonderful because I learnt to dissociate myself from religion, and it was very hard. But, I'm free of that now, and i know the psychological impacts it can have on one's attitudes towards the world and everything in it.

This law actually protect children from mental abuse.

However, most religious people believe that the only way to eternal pleasure is their own particular religion. They will do all in their capacity to teach their children the presumed one and only way to eternal joy.

A believer will not teach his children his faith only if he's agnostic about his religion.
It does, but not a little of people are aware of it.

I see no reason why a father won't want to share with his child the beautiful factor that helped/worked and is working for him.
Beyond reasonable doubt that is called SELFISHNESS and IRRESPONSIBILITY. Christians are selfless and also responsible.

Why does rich men trains their child with wealth? why do they acquire property for them even while they are young? (peoples darkened mind will see this to be right and religion to be wrong)

my children will watch me tongue for hours, watch me in fellowship, watch me heal the sick and raise the dead, get baptised in the holy ghost and in love early...

Let's see why they will not love God.

So after your children has finished watching you display all the signs of mental delusion you listed above @bolded, they will immediately start loving the object of your hallucination?

You are using school as comparison, yet in school a child is allowed to choose the things they want to learn themselves on a wide range of subjects.
You are also bringing in morality into the question, when it is 100% fact that non-religious persons have higher moral values than religious adherents.
I conducted a poll on Nairaland by asking christians if they will obey their god and kill their children to please Yahweh (your god) as he commanded in the bible (Your god, Yahweh, told his followers to murder their children in Deuteronomy 21:18-21).

All of them said yes, they will murder their child for Yahweh. That's the type of morality you want to imbibe in your children right? To murder innocent people in the name of your Jewish god right?

Don't force your religion on your children oga, you are raping them mentally with nightmares and subconsciously transforming their mind into partaking in the same delusion as you.

Forcing your religion on your ward is a mental rape. That you are the guardian is inconsequential. You wouldn't want to be forced into another religion or denomination by your employer simply because he or she is paying you salary!

I think its better to start from JHS 1 and the child will able to grow thru the religious aspect of life. I personally studied in Ghana and i did Religious and Behavioural Studies from JHS 1 thru 3, i grow up thru Christian and Islamic studies in the subject. The subject was dropped in my SHS1 and i can tell u that i knew some important part of Islam as a Christian.
That's how it should be. It's better to give the child an all round religious study than forcing your own religious view on the child.

@IamMichael

I was raised a pentecostal. Basically grew up in church.

By age 10 when I was in JS1, I had at least finished the Bible cover to cover twice. I was done with "My Book of Bible Stories" a JW publication and I was on to the next one "Questions Young People ask".

My teacher, then, Uncle Chris was dedicated. Where he had problems with my parents was when he tried to sneak me to a Congregation meeting. My dad never forgave him. My mom did tho but he was never allowed to come to the house again.

The book of revelations tortured and frightened me as a child. Till date when I flip through, a shadow of that old ghost still lurks in those pages. Old habits die hard I guess.

I was number one pic for sword drills, quizzes and Bible debates. I left my mom's church for RCCG because they had a better system for teenagers. I grew there and soon had my name forwarded for school of disciples, made assistant youth president and was mounting the altar/pulpit for programmes. I was only 16 by the time.

I was systematically and intensively brainwashed.

I know the system, in and out, I fought for it, engaged in debates for it. Church helped me hone my speaking and writing skills. But ultimately it is damaging for the psyche. It makes one sheep.

If I have kids, till you're 18, I won't bother you with religion or non religion. I'll let you grow as a child to an adult and then let you make your mind.

When I renounced religion, my old church took down my photos, erased my awards and made me a personal non grata. Some do not even speak to me again.
Wow! You have really come a long way. One thing about this right is that once you exercise it, other people have the right to exercise their own freedom not to associate with you.

It really takes courage to pull off what you did. I just wish more people will listen. It's a pity non-religious persons in Nigeria don't have a central unified community. This would have been a serious issue to talk about and educate people on.

If God exists, it would foolish to describe it as good or bad. God would be the determiner of what's right or wrong. So if he decides that genocide is good, then it is good simply because he says so. But God deciding if A is good or bad doesn't address the concept of good or bad is.
To me, Good and bad can only make sense if we see it as a human construct. Something a God would be beyond.
He lacks the cognitive ability to understand what you just said!

Warning alert, the guy you are responding to is a psychopath and religious Extremist who advocates for killing of children to please Yahweh, his jewish god!
