SirMichael1: Matthew 5:17 New International Version "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. New Living Translation “Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. English Standard Version “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. Berean Study Bible Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. Berean Literal Bible Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill. New American Standard Bible "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. New King James Version “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. King James Bible Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Are you lying against your lord Jesus Christ? |
I don't know anything about Edo politics, but Finitri should concentrate on his party. |
Babacele:Lol... I want to know how obedient they are to their god's commands and wishes. |
Deuteronomy 21:18-21 18 If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, 19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. 20 They shall say to the elders, “This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.” 21 Then all the men of his town are to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid. Christians, will you obey this order from your god? |
ghettokid1:Your questions can best be answered with this simple Omnipotence Paradox: " 1) Can Yahweh/Jehovah create a stone so heavy that even he cannot lift it?" If he can create such a stone but can't lift it, he is not omnipotence. If he cannot create such a stone, he is also not omnipotence. • If the said god you are referring to created Satan and didn't know that the said Satan will corrupt his creation, then he is not all-knowing. • If the said god knows about Satan, gave the Satan the powers he has and knew that he will corrupt his creation but allowed it, then the god is complicit and careless. • If the said god decides to blame the creation for being faulty, he as the creator is to be held 100% responsible for it. • If the said Satan is still roaming free after committing the alleged heinous act against the said god's creation, then it means the god is powerless against this Satan. • If the said god decides to come down to earth to save his creation through a redemption package by dying, here is another paradox: "Can the god sacrifice himself to himself to redeem his creation for himself knowing well that the sacrifice means total death?" If you sacrifice yourself to yourself and refused to stay dead, will that be counted as a sacrifice? If you 100% knew the outcome of an event, will you call it a risk? |
jiggaz: When you buy a car, say Toyota Hilux, and you discover immediately that it has faults, what do you do? ![]() |
AntiChristian: Just simple conspiracy theories to keep religious adherents and the unenlightened engaged. What is the one thing that everyone is yearning for and striving from birth to death to either hold, use or control?
|
IamMichael: Now, the answer to the above question: A JW is intensely motivated to preach mostly because of :- 1) Organizational isolation. 2) Intense indoctrination of adherents using WatchTower. 3) Rigid internal discipline and persecution. It's not a secret anymore that their teachings are based on the false interpretation and re-writing of the Bible ( which resulted in JW making five consecutive unfulfilled failed end of the world prophecies). However, the main reason why the JW are so obsessed with end of the world/Armageddon lies in their core beliefs that they're Jehovah's Witnesses. In other words, they're the Jewish god's witnesses who are keeping themselves separate from the world because they are the specially anointed servants of Jehovah who will rule the world with Jesus when he comes back to destroy the world and create paradise on earth. Sounds like a movie right? But that's the simple truth... and na the matter we still dey settle. That's why they don't involve themselves in anything others are doing because they believe that Satan is controlling anyone who is not a fellow Witness; and they also don't want Jesus to find a blame that they participate in world politics, etc. Now you know how to logically handle the JW when they come around. Confront them with their own ridiculous belief's. Regards! |
TATIME: Evidence you say? Sometimes I don't understand you guys. @TATIME, I will like to see you present any evidence to support the religious belief you hold is real and not an imaginary thing in your head! Except you are like the person you quoted, who has bought into the deceitful mantra of "we are a community" herd mentality. If he actually thinks he is part of a lovable community as he says, i challenge him to be courageous and question his organisations failed prophecies among his colleagues and elders. Let's see if he will not be quickly ex-communicated and ostracized or emotionally blackmailed. @Maximus69 is Holding unto a fake community love that lasts as long as you don't question their teachings. @Maximus69 has stated that he will encourage his mother to eat grass like a goat if her mothers church pastor/clergyman told her to. I'm not surprised though that you will associate yourself with him. |
Maximus69: Or more like, you still lack the capacity to comprehend just how brainwashed you are despite efforts by me at using simple sarcasms to put accross subtle messages. Anyway, it's good you have finally confirmed that Jehovah Witnesses are liars and that you agree they gave false prophecies, and that you know that they spread false messages like every other christian religious group. I will now be quoting you henceforth for reference purposes. Regards! |
Maximus69: Of course, lying and prophesying like your father and his source of inspiration (distorted version of the Bible.) John 8:44 |
Aboks: Well, I wish i have magical powers and can perform instantaneous magical spells with my mind like Constantine, Zatanna and Doctor Strange. Unfortunately, this is the real world were magic and fantasies don't exist... except in the mind of religious adherents.

Janosky: Why not refute the False Prophecies published repeatedly instead of talking about unrelated things. The thread is about all the failed Prophecies of your organisation. |
Maximus69: JW was specific...so each of their prophecies were easily accessible as it was published for all too see. On five different occasions, they prophecied...and on those five occasions, all their prophecies failed woefully and were never fulfilled. The question is, why are you still defending your organisation despite their lies being public records, and can be easily accessed? I mean look at your line of argument above: "Well all religions are predicting that the world will end and that many will go to heaven while others go to hell fire, all these are predictions. So what makes JWs different from all others? - Maximus69" Anyway, like i told you severally in the past as regards your question, all religion are lies based on superstitious beliefs which centres on worship of imaginary deities, mistaking an indoctrinated mental fantasy as reality. |
Aboks:I don't know what is your conception of the word native doctor. However, as the name suggests, they are doctors who use native and local remedies to provide solutions for their customers/clients who have any health challenges. The remedies consist mostly of herbs, shrubs, tree barks, and other natural trees and leaves provided by nature. I'm not a doctor. |
Janosky:Why not refute the False Prophecies published repeatedly instead of talking about unrelated things. The thread is about all the failed Prophecies of your organisation. If you don't have anything to say, you can go and continue insulting your generation, showing everyone exactly who you are as a person. |
Maximus69: At least know the meaning of prophecy first before defending from an ill-informed point of view.
|
Aboks: They all worship imaginary superstitious beings...every religious organisation. |
Aboks:From the look of what? |
Aboks:Did i say you are a member of anything? This people self. You should be asking and seeking to know why Christianity may or may not be a scam; that's how you grow in knowledge. From your posts, you are obviously out to attack instead of to understand, learn, delete and relearn. With this attitude, you are creating a block in your path to enlightenment. |

sonmvayina:My dear, that Mary pregnancy matter tire me ah swear! |
sonmvayina: Verse 8: Jesus said: "The spirit is like wind, you cannot know where it is going or where it is coming from." In other words, the spirit roams about aimlessly. Jesus is telling his disciples that the spirit takes hold of them and starts roaming aimlessly around with them. Nicodemus asked him "how can this be?": Read the next the statement replied by Jesus in that Chapter... He diverted the answer and started talking about something else. I just noticed that this is typical of christians. I'm not surprised though seeing as their chief is even more guilty of it to begin with. |
SpacehubTech:Done... |
Vulcanheph:Updated. |
Aboks:That you worship a superstitious imaginary being. |
Maximus69:Off the mark by about 1billion kilometers. |
