God bless you sir.
Thank you. We will do just that.
davodyguy:
Go to your VAC tomorrow Tuesday.

Once the VAC sends a mail of processed application received, then it's with them upon return from the embassy.

Go there tomorrow with collection slip/authorization letter

Please HELP me out.

Good evening house.
Please my family applied for Schengen Visas using Sweden as the entry since 24th November.

An Email came 29th November that it is with Swedish Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya for processing.

Then on the 7th of December, they sent this one i attached here. Does it mean a decision have been made? Should one go to the Lagos VAC for collection?

Courier service was not paid for so we are not expecting them to deliver the passports to us.

davodyguy:
lol.

I always laugh when people post online search result that Ticket cost is XYZ.

Try their website I mean the airlines and not what google gives you to see.

The cheapest flight from Lagos or Abuja as of today 30/11/2022 to either Paris or Rome for one individual is N1.1m

I always use skyscanner.

Check Air France, KLM, Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, Air Maroc, Egypt Air

The online search uses official exchange rate to ESTIMATE, which is wrong

i notice you have to pay in dollars, which our bank cant allow us
I pay using my credit card (ATM CARD).
When I have to use a travel agent, I use Wakanow or TravelPlanna.
But most times travel planna, because they are cheaper.

You paid the money to who? Since you didn't use website.
cucumbar:
I didn’t use their website for anything. I don’t know their web address.

I paid 255 dollars and N26,200.
The payment covers insurance.

About kids and their requirements, I don’t have those details. I applied alone.

Are they still issuing fresh Visas to Nigerians?
Uwaiwe:
Dubai is a cashless society I don't think its possible to ask for cash at point of entry. Though I travelled to Dubai last month and have never show cash anywhere in the world at airport even in Nigeria during departures. My cash is in my debit/ credit card. That's my reply as always. Though its advisable to always have cash In dollars while travelling for emergency purposes and not to show immigration.

I didn’t send any ticket to them. Maybe they have changed that pattern.
Good morning.

Please i can't access the Voya Visa website. Please share the link with me.
And also, how much did you pay in total for visa, service and insurance?

Do kids pay the same as adult?

For family, will everyone need separate insurance or one is enough?

Okay. Thank you.

Also, they live in Benin Republic. Should they use the Embassy there or Nigeria?
Ashirioluwa:
Most frequent travelers get decisions within one week
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Iampeaceful(f): 9:28am On Sep 22, 2022
Thanks.
HRprof:
I will advise you should not state you are sponsoring them. Since they are family embassy believe family can take care of their travel.

You can transfer the money to your brothers account to show prove of fund while presenting bank statement

I don’t see the possibility of getting the visa if you appear as their sponsor .

Guid them with the information you got here on how to apply and provide necessary documents for the visa as self sponsor, when they get the visa you can take responsibility of their trip.

You have to wait for the child passport to be ready since they are applying as a family.
TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Iampeaceful(f): 4:46pm On Sep 21, 2022
How many weeks for France Visa processing please?
Ashirioluwa:
I'm not sure what you meant when you said the best country to apply for Schengen visa because all these countries that I am aware of will review your paperwork and only grant you a visa if they believe you merit it.

I normally apply for Schengen visa through France embassy because the processing time is FASTER.

The sponsor will show
- A 3 month bank statements
- Letter of support outlining your relationship with the applicants and your motivation for sponsoring them
- Any additional documentation that can help their applications

The applicants will show their
- Bank statements
- Letter from their jobs or business documents
- Payslips
- Marriage certificates
- Kids’ birth certificates
- Any other documents they think might help their applications.

You will need to show that you have enough fund in your account to cover the cost of the trip.

Those who have their passport ready can apply now or wait for the other kid. Either way is fine.

You will pay the VFS service fees online to enable you book appointment. The application fees will be paid at VFS center.

I will come on here and ask questions if I'm unclear about any step while filling the forms.

Ashirioluwa:
- Bank statements

- Pay slips
- Marriage certificates
- Kids’ birth certificates
- Family photos
- Any other documents they think might help their applications.

Thank you so much.

What I meant by best is actually the country that is most likely to grant them becauae they have no travel history.

Good morning NLs.

Please I have questions for you guys to help me out with; I want to sponsor my elder brother and his family to Sweden, (he saw me through school and I want to do something special for them as they've always wanted to travel out).

1) Which country is the best bet to apply for Schengen Visa for virgin passport holders?

2) What documents are required for me as their sponsor and for them, too? (As I plan to apply for them by myself).

3) How much proof of funds do I need to show as they will spend 2 weeks there.

4) One of his kids do not have his passport yet as he is just 3 Months old. But they have applied for him. All others have. Can I apply without the baby's passport while we await it?

5) Am I paying the processing fee of €40 same time as the Visa fees or till they are about to go for biometrics?

Thank you as I await your responses. I hope to apply as soon as possible
