As long as a man has money or source of income to train kids and knows how women work and how to manage money, he is due for marriage.

If he has money and doesn't know how women work, he is NOT due — if he tries, he will cry at last and finally come to Nairaland to create a thread that reads:

I Think My Wife is Cheating with Her Ex or
I Just Realized My Son Isn't Truly Mine Blah Blah Blah.

If he knows how women work, but doesn't have money to train kids, he is also NOT due, because his woman and kids will cry while he goes out to drink with the little money he gets from menial jobs.

So, if you want to "upload," make sure you have 3 mandatory skills

1. Handle a woman skill
2. Make money skill
3. Manage money skill

Without these 3 skills, a man isn't qualified to have a girlfriend, let alone get married.

I know this my thread might get some people angry but it’s a subject that surprises me whenever I think of it. How do normal Nigerians who are educated have more than 2 children in a country like Nigeria with all the poverty & hopelessness? I am still single but I have it in mind to lay a ground rule that whichever woman I marry must agree to family planing methods after the birth of the 1st child whether male or female. And if the 1st baby is male, we can as well wait for another 5 years before having a baby of either sex as the last.

But I wonder when I see Nigerians that are not so wealthy giving birth to 4 - 5 kids in the midst of grinding economic depression and in a nation that has clearly failed. Don’t these Nigerians know that the country can descend into war anytime due to the instability that is so palpable? I get afraid when I see couples who have 4 children in this day & age so I always wonder how they are coping with the stress & the bills. I also wonder why they are not afraid of Nigeria.

School fees alone is worth a whole lot. So school fees for Nursery school isn't a joke. And two children.

Let's do some maths too:
#50 per diaper
3-5 diapers, let's take an average of 4 diapers a day.
That is #200 daily.
#1,400 a week.
#5,500 a month roughly,
#65 k a year...on diapers alone. My God!
Imagine you were bountifully blessed with twins, multiply that figure.

If you can't take care of a child, learn to wait till you have the capacity .

Many people commenting are NOT married. Marriage isn't a bed of roses.

So for pooing, you'll spend roughly more than #65k in a year. School fees isn't there ooo...every term, you'll buy stationeries o.
You'll buy socks, sandals/shoes, lunch boxes, bags, you'll take your child to the beach or eatery.

Let me not even start analysing those ones sef.
