jamislaw: All north central road is as good as death trap compare to the north west and north east. Useless law makers, RIP. They are only north when election comes. When it's time for infrastructure development or juicy appointments then you will discover there is core /far north. They are middle belt and not north central. The earlier they realize the better for them. The likes of Dino will speak fluent Yoruba and bear Yoruba names yet claim they are northerners. SMH |

Let the loooonatic think or type whatever he likes!
yEasterners must be barred from contesting in Lagos cos Yorubas will NEVER tolerate it. Are there any elected Yoruba public office holders in the east? Just curious cos some people will soon come here to lecture is on why Lagos is no man land. You don't believe in Nigeria yet you want to hold elective positions outside your state while preventing others from aspiring for same in your states.... Just an observation. I condemn the killing though. It's barbaric and his opponents cannot wash their hands off this. This should be investigated and justice served. |

Politics › Re: Dogara Releases Pay Slips For Six Months by Iamzik: 11:29pm On Apr 11, 2017 |
Rexphobia: Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives, has released his pay slips for six months.
The pay slips were on Tuesday released by Turaki Hassan, his spokesperson.
The documents showed the breakdown of the speaker’s salary for October, November, December 2016 and January, February, March 2017.
According to the documents, Dogara earns about N300,000 after tax deductions have been made.
he release of the pay slips comes 24 hours after Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna, published the breakdown of his security vote among other items.
El-Rufai had also called on principal officers of the national assembly to follow suit.
“Governor Nasir El-Rufai would like to reiterate his call for the NASS leadership to do the same and disclose the details of the National Assembly budget, and the salaries and allowances of its leadership,” he had said.
“The call to #OpenNASS is not a personal one. It is one which the leadership of the national assembly owes to all Nigerians. It is therefore disingenuous for the speaker to use state government budgets as the excuse for the opacity of the NASS budget. There is no state government in Nigeria with a budget nearly as opaque as that of NASS. In March 2016, this national assembly, led by its chairman, promised to provide a detailed breakdown of the national assembly budget. Nigerians are waiting.”

Wolfpack101: C'mon guys!! This is not some business venture, we're talking about a military (para), its an organization with rules and regulations(conduct) so if you ask me....what the sector commander did is right and he deserve a big raise not suspension. P.S if you don't know shit about military or (para) then don't say anything ..., why do you think military or (para) don't leave their hair long, beards long or have their hair cut...with gallas or dreadlock styles cos there's regulations. Any woman in organization such as immigration, FRSC, NPF, NA, NAF or NAVAL should know that.
Do you know that military has their own law, once you joined any military organization.... Just know you have two laws to abide(Law of the state and the military law)
but if you happen to see an officer with long beard or hair, just know that his/her job is related to special unit(detective, undercover etc...
Check the image You seem to know FRSC code better than Boboye.... Please re-instate Kumapa or whatever is his name and also promote him. The wide spread disproportionate irrational reaction of military men on our streets when they assault same civilians they swore to defend... Is that also in the military law? The old days of military brutality is gone for good. Deal with it and embrace the future. FRSC is not military |

Giddyperson: That's a para military outfit if I'm not mistaken, the women are not allowed to wear their hair long. That lady went out of her way to wear extensions that are ridiculously long. The commander cut off the extensions. Don't know why people are shouting. Left to me the person that took that picture should be punished. Social media is making it so hard to teach discipline. That's how they would go and film new military cadets being drilled with corporal punishments then circulate the video and start calling it inhumane. How else would they train these people biko, they should serve them bread and butter and spa treatments and send them into the field. Your logic does not hold water sir. Much like saying that the commander can strip her unclad if she wears mufti or wrong uniform to work. Braided hair is not allowed, yes and the sanction clearly spelt out in staff code of conduct does not include the commander turning himself to emergency barber. We must resist impunity and high handedness of our public office holders. You can't try this in a corporate setting. Maybe due to long military rule we seem to think that Infringing on people's privacy right and gross abuse of office is the way to teach discipline and that's why an average uniform Nigerian man thinks he is above the law. And for the records, FRSC is not military |

Sealeddeal: Prof Ango Abdullahi need to be beaten for lying? Which documents proved that North fed the country from 1914-1974? The North of Nigeria may have land and agricultural potential but the North has remained the poorest zone in Nigeria since 1914 and beside, has there been any country that became rich through food production alone?
