I still cringe at the fact that a person who was taught in English and wrote exams in English language from nursery to university BSC/masters degree level must "prove" that he can read and write in the same English language which also happens to be the Lingua Franca of Nigeria and the official language in every state.

Apart from the business model I don't see how this makes sense in 2025.

Then to make it worse, they put an expiry date to it. So if I pass writing and reading today will I suddenly forget how to read and write English in two/three years? Its rip off and these are the questions that our ministry of foreign affairs should be asking.

Perhaps we should also make foreigners that are applying for our visa to read and write in Hausa/Yoruba/Igbo etc before we give them visa??

Those who have deep revelation and clear conviction about the impacts/benefits of tithing do not need any validation or logical inclination to do so.

The tithe that Abram gave was before he met God - it was a tradition and it was not even his own money. It was spoils of war and it was a one time offering - not monthly compulsory contribution as you were wrongly taught. He never gave another tithe after that.

Where you quoted in Malachi is directed to the priest who were stealing tithes contributions from members, not to the congregation who paid the tithe - a distinction that many pastors know but will not tell you.

Tithe was never money in the bible. If you see anywhere that tithe was paid with money in the bible please post it here let us see. It was foodstuffs that was mostly distributed to the Levites, priests and poor people

Only Levites working in the temple without land, paid jobs or possessions are qualified to receive tithe. Which of your pastor is a Levite from Israel and without landed property?

Lastly neither Jesus nor the apostle preached or collected tithes so I don't know where you guys learnt that doctrine.
New testament giving has no formula or percentage. Give willingly and cheerfully as unto God.
