PoliticsRe: Rejoinder: Lagos State Government Buys Cars For Oba's In Lagos by ibedun: 11:53pm On May 05, 2016
youngeagle:
Hello guys,I have been on this forum for a while now,but this is my first time of creating a topic, and this topic is born out of so much questions running through my mind this evening, will like the grammarians to pardon my choice of words I'm just an Architect...back to the main issue Its so appalling how states and federal government play politics with the peoples money, why must a government buy cars for traditional rulers?,same goes to other arms of government, why must we buy cars for our legislatives both state and federal?,how much are they making for us? For instance I use to work for a company WICHTECH industries, as a marketer for you to earn a car,the company must have seen your input to the growth of the company before they will recommend a car for you,we pay this people much more than they need,if not for politics our civil servants should also be receiving such good gifts from the government, because I see no reasons why politicians with little contribution to the society lives a luxury life while those that labour to create a better tomorrow still lives in abject poverty. for years now I can't even point out one thing the people representing my constituency have done for my people all I see is flashy cars anytime they want to come and visit a chief around my vicinity, just come out on Apapa oshodi express and see them in their convoy, with all these luxury how will they have time to think out good for the common masses, with the bullet proof cars how will they know the security condition of the country...I know some people will say na today, but I think is time to make a change if we can't do anything let's preach about this,Nigerians are suffering while our servants are living a flambohyant lifestyle, they don't really care about us, we must care about our well-being.
Bleep off back to your SE, like your papa land reach here.

Kachikwu Ibe is Igbo and a Lagosian ( He said it NOT me).
If you like rant and rave till Kingdom come on NL, you convince no one.
Just make sure that you pay your rent at the end of the month, probably to an Igbo millionaire Lagos land owner.
So you can continue hating Igbos because they are economically successful all you want ( na your choice be dat) but you must continue paying rent ( not your choice).
ALL GOOD Brother.
o

Igbo and hopeless consolation.

As far as Lagos is concerned, you are a foreigner and a foreigner you shall remain.

The yoruba indegenes you are mocking will sooner or later take your property over. Just keep praying for peace and stability.

Kachikwu, abi wetin be your papa name, is a joker. Lagosian my foot, he had better go and find his roots. Igbo lasan!!!

first of all.....don jazzy isn't igbo.....second of all, most igbos who were born in lagos wear yoruba attires and its understandable. If you were born in the US as a yoruba, doesn't mean u would wear traditional attires as home out fit.....wale is an example....igbos are proud of their culture.....I was born and bred in lagos. But I am still proud of were I come from......doesn't mean anything.....I can choose to wear whatever pleases me....that's how liberal igbos are
So what is Don Jazzy? A Yoruba or a Fulani from Enugu?

Those mofos don't understand a thing about doing business in a globalised world. Using 1983 out phased model in this time and age. The result is very visible now as our economy is in coma.
You are highly ignorant! And I bet you have never left Nigeria (let alone Africa) in your life. There is international politics and economic structure. There is status quo. There is a reason some countries have nuclear and chemical biological weapons in their possession but yet do not want other countries to develop the same. There is a reason why some countries are almost permanently rich and others are permanently poor. Have you ever heard or read about the WTO? They have already designed the templates that will force Africa to remain dirt poor for the next 500 years. Portfolio investors are profit seekers not "investors".

Must we devalue our naira for you guys? Must we create an avenue where you invest and syphon back into your country? Because that is all you wanted!

To invest cheap and reap bountifully only for your to develop your land. You send returns and profits back to your parent company in your various countries and pay stipends as taxes here.

You disregard out citizens and strip is of our natural resources.

You take advantage of the greediness of the youths caused by laziness and use them against their own and yet with nothing to show to the host community.

Why do we have to devalue the naira with no source of supporting the economy with industrialization that may help to replenish the depleting reserve thru exportation?

You want us to use more money indirectly to buy products that you produce while you pay less to produce it!

It's that simple!
They like us wretched, poor and suffering endless political upheaval. It makes them stronger and us vulnerable. They are not our friend. Buhari and Emiefele well done!

The naira is already devalued in the market..
The official value is not being used in the market.. Why then should it not be devalued to reflect to realistic market value?
When you devalue it, you encourage investors.
Foolish fool!
FamilyRe: Can You Live In A House Built By Your Wife? by ibedun: 2:44pm On Mar 30, 2016
Too many damn kids here!! These same women? She would strive, struggle and build a house (BTW for herself and her children) and a Husband move in with her. That man is doomed unless his own house is loading and near completion.

I have seen many men destroyed by this kind of move. Even the man's children will disrespect him on top of the disrespect he would get in abundance from the inlaws.
FamilyRe: Can You Live In A House Built By Your Wife? by ibedun: 1:52pm On Mar 30, 2016
The man own don finish. The kids would disrespect him join. Believe me, I have seen many men completely destroyed by this kind of arrangement.

Well, I won't blame her, maybe that's the way she is been brought uup from her home, that wemen can not achieve anything on there own without the help of or contributions of a man!

I was brought up 2 understand that what a man can do a woman can do better and also women shod b treated equally in social economic chain and every sphares of life
True! I have daughters but you may not find happiness. Very few men will date a woman who have surpassed them in life. It is extremely destructive to a man's life.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Are Smart Especially The Igbos by ibedun: 11:43am On Mar 29, 2016
The Japanese and Koreans can beat their chest all day long saying they are smart and intelligent, why? The proof is their country.

Nigerians are neither smart nor intelligent, why? Just look at our country and all national institutions. We are wretched, underdeveloped, terrible culture and des eased and poor.

As for Igboland, that is another story all together. Smart we ain't.
