Analysiscorner: It is you that would choose whom to marry. Aside having bad character, you can confidently marry her. But talk to your parents with love, for them to see the reason why she is a wife material, if she is. The two children that she already had is not a problem. In terms of responsibility, she is already working. In terms of morals, she's better than a lady that have had 2 abortions . Love between you two, to me, is not infatuation, cause you have seen her character a little bit.Thinking like an African, she is still within the reproductive age. And you are not alone in this- marrying a lady who is your senior. Think like an African and you are doomed!!!! |

Nigeria: Senate Panel Wants El-Rufai Banned From Public Office
The Joint Senate Committees on Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Housing, which investigated the administration of the territory between 1999 and 2007, have recommended that former FCT Minister Nasir el-Rufai be banned from holding public office now and in future.
The committee said in its interim report, laid on the table of the Senate yesterday by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on FCT, Senator Abubakar Danso Sodangi, that "Mallam Nasir el-Rufai is not a fit and proper person to hold public office in a democratic set up."
Source: http://allafrica.com/stories/200807110079.html Rubbish! This is not a conviction or court sanction. |

lastpage: Yorubas dont travel to other lands to do "menial hustling" liek selling Galla on the streets or faking everything in sight.
Go to any country in the world today... and tell me if you wont find Yorubas there?
But l am also sure you wont find them doing what every Ibo goes to do, in other people's places. It is because of this "unbridled criminality" on the alter of 'travelling', that makes countries like S/Africa to set on their fellow African-Nigerians. Go to "Eabrow in South Africa... and see what our "travelling brothers" have turned the place into - A Haven of Drug Pedlers and Couriers. Same with many Asian countries!
Yorubas dont just travel, for the sake of Travelling and becoming a nuisance to their host community ............. That's the difference.

Can you just name a state ?
Why are you guys very bitter ? Never quote me again ...I have noticed you I am a Yoruba man and a Nigerian. I don't go to Igboland to disturb the Igbos, I don't go to Hausaland to disturb the Hausas so why the hell should an Igbo be disturbing me in my own territory? SW is still da bomb puleasee You took this right out of my mouth. UNTIL AND UNTIL the Igbos stop roaming about and develop their territory and steer the interest of other Nigerians to desire to live in the East, all na wash. What is the point of heading to Yoruba land and shouting about some vague accomplishments!?!? And there is also the fact that sooner or later the owner of the land will wake up. When the Yorubas eventually wake up there will be great trouble for the migrating Igbos. |

Adebowaletunji: sincerely i have been trying to make sure i make a visit to the eastern part of the country and i was opportune to visit a friend at Enugu.... Enugu i think is the most beautiful city in eastern Nigeria and majorly characterised by government establishment which i think stemmed from it been the capital of old eastern region...in Enugu i went to shoprite; oaklands and okpara square
The next 2 days i had to follow a friend to Onitsha and little wonder did i know it was also called 'Osha' by natives...to be frank ONTISHA is the most mega city in eastern Nigeria with well organised markets and road...infact i think Onitsha needs a sea port
From Onitsha i travelled to Abakaliki....this capital i think is the smallest state capital in the east but seems the people have a great land for Agriculture and their land was more stable with no erosions unlike the ones u see in Enugu and Anambra.
I also went to aba that same week and i found out that aba is really the worst city in Nigeria as a whole.....infact Abia state itself is the worst state in eastern Nigeria.
then i was also in owerri and all i can say is that the city is a joncing city...tall guys and gals everywhere and their men sabi toast
From all observations i can typically say that anambra state is the most developed Nigerian state and sincerely Onitsha together with Lagos kano kaduna and ibadan should be given a special status in Nigeria Oloriburuku , make I go visit land wey indegenes dey run commot like say evil spirit dey pursue dem ? |
