Other than dropping bomb and grabbing headline now and then, you won't see them getting involved in real operational nitty gritty of drones, surveillance, communications and ground operational support which is what's needed to root out terrorism. Terrorism is not something you defeat with occasional bomb, that can even drag more attention and terrorist funding toward Nigeria, making Nigeria an amphitheatre of anti-American terrorism without the real support to combat it. Don't get me wrong, I'm in support but know their commitment is flaky at best. Their goal is more to appeal to their base than make any solid commitment to Nigeria.
