Ex0rrcist:He talked his way out because he was working with clowns he didn't respect, who took credit for his CWC win, briefing in the press that it shows their strategy is working, and continuing their Gittens/Garnacho/Buonanotte strategy instead of giving him a little say that he earned with his CWC win |

iamoyindamola:My sister is on a different level, she's a marathon runner I'm competing against my wife and my close padi wife. And I heard from my padi that his wife has been training everyday. I lost to my wife last time, but I can't lose to my padi wife. At least we can manage in-house disgrace, but we cannot allow disgrace in another man house. |
BlueRayDick:Porter and Carter are not in the same weight class and should not have been put in the ring together. Na that Charles Okocha win dey gas Portable not knowing say Charles na old man and Charles is in his weight class |
User09:4 hours is more than enough for health but not for performance Conversely training for performance often leads to overuse injuries which negatively affects health long term But I don't spend more than 4 hours a week on any specific exercise thus limiting the risk. I do about that 3-4 hours straight running per week, add another 3 hours football, then another 5 hours on weights and Calisthenics classes, making about 11-12 hours total, but that's because I'm training for race performance. After my next race at end of May, I will cut down the running to 1.5 hours per week average and cut football to 2 hours per week. The weight training will always remain. I just don't see how you can fit weight training into a 4 hour-a-week schedule unless you cut Cardio completely. |
raumdeuter:Extra $30, easy decision on the Asics My price difference between Skechers and Asics Kanayo here is like £80 which makes it a conversation It's not a conversation on $30 at all For $95, I'm sure you can also get close to a Brooks Ghost 17 or Nike Vomero 18 which are premium, but if you prioritise Arch support then the Kanayo is your Baba and the extra $30 over worth am for the extra cushioning and heel lockdown over the Skechers. |
raumdeuter:This Skechers expensive sha At this price, I will default to one of the premiums My Arch-Fit cost me £30. Once I'm paying $90, I will rather pay an extra $40 to get the premiums.. It would be money better spent Two things Skechers fail on is heel lockdown and weight. That's why they can only be used for walking. If a shooter starts shooting, you won't be able to run in the Skechers like the premiums |
raumdeuter:Walking Premium shoes Hoka Clifton 9 or 10 New Balance 1080 - v13, v14 or v15 Asics Kanayo 31 or 32 Asics Gel Nimbus 25, 26 or 27 Puma Magmax Nike Vomero 18 or Nike Vomero Plus Absolute best for purely walking there is Asics Kanayo 31 or 32 because of the arch support, however the others may be softer. If softness is absolute priority, I would go for the Puma Magmax or the New Balance 1080 v15, but any of the above would do a great job. Walking cheaper shoes Skechers Arch-Fit Skechers Go run Supersonic Max (although called Go run, it's more suited to walking) These are almost as good for walking only and about 30-40% of the price of the premiums. The Skechers Arch-Fit is not as soft as all the others listed but it's arch support is what you are looking for. It beats all the others on arch support except the Asics Kanayo, and with a $5 insole, you can make it as soft as the others. However unlike the premiums listed, you cannot use the Skechers for running at any comparable measure, that's why they are budget. |
GloriousGbola:lol. The guy wey ask question asked opinion on a shoe at a specific price point meaning he is capable and willing at that price point, and I gave him the options in that price range. If he asked about toothpaste, I can also give my opinion since I'm familiar with different toothpastes, but if he start asking for Private Jet options, I will let others with more experience in Private Jets take over. There are others who may also be looking for good running shoes in that price point and I am not a bad plug to ask since I have practical experience of 16 different highly rated running shoes over the last year. I have kept 12 of the ones I liked and dashed out 4, and have also tested many others in the shops for comfort level. I generally know what works for walking, running, sprinting or casual use. These are some of the ones I kept for my rotation.

GloriousGbola:Google the price of the Hoka Bondi 9 that Llaykorn was asking about. Dynafish is same price but twice as good. @ Llaykorn, gun to my head, if you can only get one shoe, I will recommend the PUMA Velocity Nitro 4. It is one of the very lightest (about 230g in a size 10), the most comfortable medium stack height shoe, versatile enough for everything from walking to speed runs, the nitrogen foam feels like a dream, the price point is the lowest, and cheaper even than some Chinese premiums and since it's a brand name, you can wear it to social events as well |
llaykorn:Hoka Bondi and Clifton are good for walking especially if you have had foot issues like Plantar Fascitis. They are also good for gym work, standing all day and easy long runs. This applies to Bondi 6 to 9 and Clifton 7 to 10. Foam technology has moved on to more comfortable specs from the earlier version. But if you want the option to pick up the pace on your running, I would choose different options as there are better foam technologies than Hoka. Puma Velocity Nitro 4 or Puma Magmax have better foam technology and any Adidas with Lightstrike pro foam is better for running - these are Adizero EVO SL and the Adistar 3 and 4 and Adizero Boston 13 onward. However aways order half size up on Adidas as they pinch the toe due to narrow toebox. Adizero EVO SL is the best Western brand for running but is not good for standing or walking as stability can be an issue. In summary, if you want to use it for walking as well, you can't go wrong with Hoka, Asics or Brooks premium ranges or the Pumas I mentioned, but if you want to focus on running, the Adidas, Pumas or Asics are best. Nike also has the Vomero 18 or Vomero Plus which do both well although slightly heavy. However if you have access to buy Chinese brands, I would look at them first. They do all the above at 50-60% of the price. Chinese alternatives to the Hoka Bondi or Clifton are the Golden Camel Flying Bird, Qiaodan LH Max, Li ning Yeuying 5 pro, Anta PG7 version 2 or the Qiaodan TG1.0 For running, best Chinese shoes are the Dynafish Xiaonan and the Li ning Red Hare 9 Ultra. These are actually better than all Western brands for running except the ASICS Megablast which is too expensive. If you are on budget, you can also get the Li Ning Red Hare 8 pro, it will do a good job but not better than the Puma Velocity Nitro 4 on the Western side. Best running shoes Western : 1. Asics Megablast 2. Adizero EVO SL 3. Puma Velocity Nitro 4 Best running shoes Chinese 1. Dynafish Xiaonan 2. Li Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra For walking and slower paces, the Hokas are great though. |

Calibrator:Iamoyindamola should be sacked. I've never seen this kind of incompetent admin before |
Afrodoc2 has gone from doing favours to ghosting Like I said when he was making mouth after beating me, I am playing chess not checkers. I have never once checked my FA Cup opponent team before a game week. My focus is on the main league table and winning the big prize. I believe if I put out a consistent team that can challenge the main league, I should by law of averages make Playoffs in the FA Cup. |
Calibrator didn't make Playoffs. You love to see it ![]() |
GloriousGbola:I hear you. But if you do small YouTube research on Calisthenics and own a skipping rope, you will avoid all these challenges. I only got into weights seriously last year and running late last year. Before now I mostly do calisthenics. Even the running is an experiment to try and get a good time in my next races and see how far I can push my finishing times. I usually avoid running before now because I have a dodgy knee and am a heavy runner (93 kg) so running is not a natural thing for me. Before now I mostly do squats, press-ups, dips and Burpees and if I hit gym it was mostly to do more Calisthenics or climb the stairmaster. All these are bodyweight exercises one can do at home easily with 15-30 mins spare |
semid4lyfe:Like I say, anything you want make time for, you go work out your schedule to fit in. As you get fitter, you need less rest time, infact your body no go allow you sit-down one place to decompress. The same way Adenuga say he is too busy for workout is the same condition Elumelu is doing workouts in. Na same environment Livelongnprospa turn to Hercules while still working and hustling Canada visa. Once you have small education on physical fitness you will see that just 30 mins Calisthenics every other day will set you off to the point you become so energetic after a few months, you start finding time you never knew you had. Some ninjas like Emaprince na just pressups, dips, pull-ups, burpees they need to cover everything. Even 10 mins skipping rope per day can give you so much energy that you won't need to decompress and find another hour in the day for other things. As you get older nobody go tell you to take care of your health. Many ninjas our age are somehow suddenly dropping with HBP and stroke from nowhere including old classmates. |
semid4lyfe:You can make time for anything you enjoy, you just have to be efficient with it. Lunchtime run is just 21 mins, add another 19 mins for shower and change and it's the same 40 mins you use to consume lunch that Mrs SemiD packed for you. I don't eat breakfast or lunch. I pack 2 bananas in the morning that sees me through till dinner. Nigerians spend too much time on travel, food prep and religious activities. Travel you can't avoid but the other 2 can be cut down to almost zero. I have this theory that any society without fast food is unproductive. Chinese can cook you a meal from scratch in 5 to 10 mins, even Ghana will throw shitto on some carbs and food will be ready. I use Ghana method of shitto on potatoes etc during the week so once I get home, food will be ready in 5 mins then I can go play football. Most of my weight training in the week is done in 20 mins before work. If you have the education, with compound dumbbell exercises, you can do all 3 exercises for 3 sets of 10 for every major muscle group in the upper body within 15 mins (shoulders, chest, biceps, triceps, lats and back). I try to do these on weekdays in the morning before work, then do 2 major sessions on Saturday and Sunday when I have more time. The other thing Nigerians spend major time on is religious activities. At least 1/4 of the weekend spent on church etc with all the dressing and travel. I send my kids to church to learn good morals while I use the time for my Sunday session. I have been in gym since 8.30 am this morning and would be home by 11am, same time preacher is just starting his sermon in most churches.

Ipukulu playoff spot secured easily with much to spare |
Training for Manchester 10km race in 6 weeks with aims of completing in 55 to 60 mins which is 5.30-6.00min/km pace. My training consists of three 4.3km tempo runs per week during my work lunch-break alongside once a week sprints of 800m x 4 when I'm working from home. Trying to juggle this with weight training 4 times a week and 3 times a week football. Then every two weeks I do a long recovery run (about 10km) on a Saturday morning when I drop kids off for dancing lessons. I actually planned 14km (1/3rd marathon) on my recovery run this morning but my hip seize up at 8km. Make I just respect my age and stop it here.

A40:You know how West Coast mindlessly ride for their coast na Invoking West Coast in a lyrical battle against Toronto or Fayetteville is cheating |
A40:We know why he ducked the fade Cos Kendrick has a machine behind him, a gullible public, uses bots and has played the West coast card in the beef. You can't beef with a Ninja playing West Coast card when you only have Fayetteville card. It was not a battle about skill. |
Ayapripri: Wolfgang Raumdeuter should be investigated Ipukulu Head Coach Ibime Ayapripri Jack-Daniel has called on EFCC boss Ola Olukoyede to open an investigation into the activities of Good Kompany manager Wolfgang Raumdeuter following Wolverines ceding of their FA Cup tie to Good Kompany. Hear him: "I am calling on EFCC, the NFF and FIFA ethics committees; and League administrator Iamoyindamola to look into the obvious points buying by Wolfgang Raumdeuter. Raumdeuter has been blatantly offering financial incentives for opponents to throw games for the last 3 weeks and has somehow taken his team from no-hopers to the cusp of the Playoffs. How can Wolverine take 16 points hit and still be only able to field 5 or 6 players?" Unfortunately Ayapripris plea is expected to fall on deaf ears as even the league administrator Iamoyindamola was recently caught on hidden camera offering to do Wolfgangs bidding for a substantial fee. Although the bribery offer was caught on tape, Iamoyindamolas lawyers are alleging AI manipulation from political enemies who wish to see his downfall and also argue that accepting an incentive to win a match is not tantamount to corruption, unlike throwing a game. Evidence here presented for stakeholders to draw their own conclusion. iamoyindamola:Roby Dakolo Premium Times |
