Goldenheart:
People still ask other people out??
The last time I asked a girl out in person she said No that was my first and last time. Since 2011...
Nowadays we just chat ourselves into any kind of relationship and we chat ourselves out...
OP. You really like this girl. Ask her out on phone before someone else beat you to it... So that the status of the relationship is conveniently vague/blurred because it has not officially been established by anybody Chat into ko |

makydebbie: LOL sis, it all started with the way nigerians bashed Funke Akindele and she got arrested. So after that, AY came to defend Funke stating that Twitter users only bash celebrities and adviced it should be channeled to the government as well. Twitter users came for him too and dragged him till his height elongated I'm sure.
I think Nigerian celebrities in their what's app group said never again to Twitter bullying lol. So Toke Makinwa, Burna boy, and a few celebrities have been in insulting nigerians/Twitter users lol. Lool don’t make me choke Oh I see, thank you |

Dannyxy: It's always gender wars here... With the same old actors every time, some don't just want to outgrow this nonsense here, don't you guys get tired??...
yes interracial marriages happens, it's beautiful, but reality check, everyday real people will keep getting married to their fellow race, and truth is 99% of black population will keep having relationship with each other from now till eternity, so what's all this about...
You all hate each other guts so much , yet you keep fraternizing with the same enemy, heck, after you go offline you would still sleep fantasizing over the same enemy.... So what gives mehnnn??
BTW.. Hii ibkayee Don't know if I spelt it correctly... And olanna(safarigirl)... Lol, your rebuttals here now make me scared of those shy cute girls that wear earpods and hardly talk... Lmaoo |

MYMINDER: A lot of hate on that site by Black American women against Africans and Nigerians especially. Not all, but enough to cause concern. Africans there are relatively quiet outside of the Africa forum because the "bully network" is strong whenever anyone speaks against one of them. I see it as more of an emotional support site for black american women. More of comforting each other and less of telling each other the truth. There are good discussions from time to time once the trolls and hate-filled fonts are ignored. I won’t say there isn’t tension between groups but I’ve never gotten an overall hateful vibe. The site isn’t perfect but I find it more conducive for certain topics to be discussed, especially as women |

Lipstick alley is actually great. If NL men stray to that site, this sense of importance they have will be cast away. Any vibrant and matured forum is welcomed. I won’t say it’s completely sane lol but the discussions are a lot more diverse and mature. It’s a majority African American female forum but there are handfuls of subgroups who also participate e.g. Nigerian females Lipstickalley (dot) com |

Astark: our gender like to over estimate their selves.
They don't know they are at the bottom of everything good. They think white and Hispanics women are rushing them while stats says otherwise The portion of Hispanic and white women that are fetishising ‘rushing’ black men are not thinking of Nigerians. Yes, Nigerians are technically black but Nigerian men in particular are not necessarily a ‘category’ being targeted |

CinnamonTea: Lmao, I know right. Who's really checking for them like that? Non-Nigerian women who date Nigerian men here are also having a rethink. I met an Ethiopian girl (I'm calling her girl but she should be around my age) sometime last year. She was trying to sell me a product while I walking through a mall, stopped me because I look 23, lmao. We got to talking and turned out her last two exes were Nigerian who both cheated on her. And she's sooo pretty. She told me she can never date another Nigerian man. Also know a Caribbean (via work) lady who has a daughter with one. They actually met in London, she moved here because of him, helped him get papers and all, only for him to do a 360 on her. Their divorce was finalized last year. Nigerian men stay ruining their reputations.
Yes to the distinction! There are differences between Canadian black men, Nigerian-Canadian men, fresh-off-the-boat Nigerian men who just arrived here, and home-based Nigerian men. Could you start a thread on this? I'd like to pinch in as well. Lool they don't have a great reputation at all. There will always be exceptions but generally, (outside of the group of women I mentioned) and asides a few isolated cases here and there, they aren't on anyone's radars like that Knowing this place, I don't think the thread would get much of a diverse response or be that productive to be honest, it will mostly be frustrated guys who've never stepped foot outside of their cities, let alone the country derailing. That's why I prefer places like lipstick alley for discussions like this lol |

Celepope: That is what most guys use in consoling themselves. It is true though in some parts of Europe (Black men and not just Nigerian men) but not in places like Canada and Europe where Nigerian guys can't even go near them except those in college. Honestly, it tends to come from the ones who aren't actually used to being around oyibo people lol |

CinnamonTea: I'm on Lipstickalley (forum) and all the black British women there say the same, cautioning against marrying British black men, including Nigerians. It's no wonder many female British Youtubers end up dating or marrying white men.
Have they met every Nigerian woman here?
Besides, many Nigerian men here are divorcees (after marrying white women for papers) or single fathers. I read Lipstickalley sometimes Lol don't get me wrong, I won't act like there's scarcity of Nigerian couples or anything, I just find it funny how some of the guys on here like to paint Naija men as prizes. Asides Nigerian women, women from SOME African countries and I guess I could throw in a very small portion of Jamaicans (both homebased and diaspora), NOBODY is checking for Naija men generally like that as a whole Also, even though they're all technically black, I like to differentiate between British black men, British Nigerian men and home based Nigerian men because the differences between them is another topic on its own lol |

Mstick: LOL! Do you watch 90DF? The Nigerian men that have appeared on the show and the one currently on it, go and see the type of white women they're with compared to the American, Australian and Russian guys
Even on the fan pages of the show their job is to stalk white older women. Those women call them out even in the comments section. Sis, those Michael and Angela 90 day fiance clips are my guilty pleasure, if I'm ever in low spirits, I watch them to cackle myself out of sadness. Foolishness of the highest order |

J111333: Sister just dey console herself.
I didn't wanna comment on the other thread but I'll be very much active on this one.
In diaspora, naija men are after oyibo woman and naija women are after oyibo men. At the end, oyibo women na dem rush naija men but that's not the case for our naija sisters.
The truth is that they are the cause of their loneliness because average naija men will naturally go after our sisters but the rejection they face by our over ambitious sisters no be here.
By the time, oyibo men men ignore them and they retrace their steps, our brothers have moved on.
...and the reason they reject our brothers? They think our brothers need green card from them which is not always the case. LOL Which oyibo women are rushing naija men? Jokes aside, please explain |

I wouldn't be able to stay with a cheat even if I tried because it would just disconnect me from him in every possible way. Forgiveness isn't even the issue, I'd just be disengaged and if we had children together, we'd just become individuals living together rather than a couple so may as well part ways |

I don't think any gender is inherently better at dealing with it, men are just more used to it because they put themselves 'out there' more, naturally they'd learn to cope and shrug it off better |
