What do you mean ? I thought all level 8 are supporting staff ? Shed more light, or you mean no professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers and ICT Guys ?

Am sure that's the number the need even though they budgeted 3200. The remaining monies will go the Nigeria way.

Why won't they just shortlisted from the already screened cos lots of persons not shortlisted here are qualified paper wise and health wise. Am still thinking which criteria Dem take screen people out

New info reaching me by a senior officer of NCS says that nearly everyone who participated in the physical screening made the final list. He is someone I trust in terms of providing a genuine info. He said, "unless the person fails the health tests done" No other criteria would be taken as a reason for not making the final list except on health grounds.

He has no idea when list comes out but he said soon. How soon I have no idea. But recruitment have been concluded in terms of selection.

Make una wait may the time frame for the pending source expire now before una start to share again now.

One bitter truth we are avoiding is, just because we were screened doesn't mean we got the job and that doesn't in any way mandates NCS to give us the job, so no b by intimidation or noise making Dem go tell us our fate, the only moral thing they are mandated or should do is let us know our fate.

That There is a notion going around that we didn't merit being shortlisted

Am not relying on any source here but I think it's delays from Contractors to execute certain projects that's stalling our training to kick of and I believe they don't want candidates to stay for more than 2 weeks if they release the list. E get y i reach dis conclusion but am not sharing that reasons before someone quote me

Some LGAs will certainly get more than 1 person in each cadre. Some LGAs don't have much representation at NCS, Some educationally backward etc. Ebonyi, Jigawa can get more candidates than Kebbi and u don't expect Kano to get 44 exactly now, they will get more. Many factors dey, so Bro Chill, u fear should be geared towards whether or not the list will be padded by powers that be.

Another question abeg, who have idea how many stars Doctors and Lawyers dey get if Dem join NCS cos other Para Military and military na 2 stars o

All this GD and SS distinction no matter o, get d job first abeg and besides the distinction isn't fundamental because if you are a Lawyer or Doctor or Engr and u r recruited as SS, that no means say u no fit b CGC o same applies for someone on GD. It's just a simple matter make una no overflog d issue, since even dem wey dey service no complain of that distinction.
D way I see am b say GD is for people wey no get specialisation or d course Dem study no get place or department for NCS wey go fit dem professionally, for instance person dey study zoology or CRK or IRK , wic department him go go if no b GD? But e no go make sense to carry medical Doc go Jibiya or shaki wen u get Custom hospital, or carry lawyer go border wen cases dey make him prosecute or investigate dats d reason for that GD and SS based on own understanding and , am not saying SS is better than GD or otherwise but d crux of the distinction is on the basis of what u studied.

The way some applicants dey happy on top this promotion matter, even Dem way dem promote no dey jolly so o. Anyways fingers crossed for ours too, may we all make to the final list and to Training and POP and become officers.
