1. To avoid influence that may make the recruitment lose merit
2. Sensitivity of the Organisation which will likely point to Intelligence agencies in the country

But I think it's a regular organisation trying to be fair to applicants and why it may not be a new agency is because Law Enforcement agencies are created by Laws of the National assembly which to my knowledge no new agency has been created. Nb. National centre for control of small arms and light weapons isn't an agency created by Laws and even tho they are allocated sum funds in this year budget, recruitment wasn't captured which means most people there are on secondment.

Jokes: the agency can't even contract a proper IT firm, the website isn't working.

I doubt because no recruitment funds were budgeted this year for ICPC and DSS. But what do I know ? It may even be the Federal Agency itself

As to the interview, it certainly gonna be in batches. How do u expect civil servants to conduct interview for more than 3000 people in 2-3 daya ? And it's in their Hq o not even in some hall of a hotel or so.

It's a massive one, some of those called had submitted their CVs since 2018. It was a backlog of applications they tried to clear up. You know why?

1. They kept calling to get the best of the best.
2. There is room for a lot of intakes.

With this recruitment or any government in service program, quota system is used.

With the few Government in service programs that have been conducted and I have been fortunate to be part of, almost all overall Best in the process of selection have been Northerners with Kano State having the highest representation.

But where you have just 15 Northerners amongst the 50 Best Staff to be selected, what you have is the last 10 Southerners dropped, for the next best 10 Northerners.

Quota system is not new to Nigeria, except you want to play the ostrich and if this wasn’t a faceless forum, bet you won’t have the nerve to insult me.

So there are supposedly 3 slots per state, and the competition for those slots on merit in those states mentioned is just mental.

If it were strictly based on merit and not quota, Lagos for example will end up with 10-15 persons recruited, but since that’s not the case, those 15 will have to battle for 3 slots or 4 at most.

I said 4 slots at most because few states will have to fill the quota of some states that won’t be able to fill theirs.

To those asking for AOC, I think there is no specific Area of Concentration rather everything boils down to ones profession or field of study vis a vis what you applied for. For instance if your role.falls under Engineering performance and monitoring certainly your Cbt gonna revolve around engineering and technical ish. While if your role falls under Finance management, you know it's about admin, accounting Economons same for those who applied for roles under the Legal, license or compliance it's gonna be about Law and I think everyone will.have few General questions on NERC..anyways I wish us all luck

This is serious. I thought the 4th was the last. Was told those that did interviews/medicals are moving on to the next stage. But with this post I’m beginning to doubt. Nigeria!!!!!

It's sad, they are rolling another set. It can't be that they recruting massively, it's just either people didn't pass the exercise truthfully, or they are trying to justify monies budgeted for the recruitment after maybe they have already taken who they want. I just hope merit prevails.

It seems a Federal Agency is doing another set of Cbt, Medicals and Interview. 5th time I guess. Massive failure from last 4 batches I learnt. I advice anyone waiting to just move on with their lives.

Probably alot failed the first exercise so they are trying to fill up the slots. Cos I heard almost 500 went and the slot I heard reliably is just 70 or thereabout.

A government agency will be conducting CBT in Abuja on 31st October 2022. I don't know which agency but I know two persons who have received SMS to that effect. I'll update you guys if I get additional information.

My sources said 850. Also 398 (BSC) people are in karu while 200 people (ND) were invited to akwanga for training.

The 850 is BSC or combined with Secondary school and NCE/Diploma?
And do u have an idea how many per state ? Is it per Local Government or per Senatorial Zone ? Thanks
