Borno state Governor, Engr. Prof. Babagana Zulum orders all local government Secretaries to summit names of graduates in their respective local governments.

The Governor had earlier in 2019 announced the employment of 300 Borno indigenes, and additional recruitment of 30 doctors, 100 nurses, midwives.

Gov. Zulum also launched “Borno Jobs portal” to accommodate profiles of two million jobs’ seekers from across the 27 local government areas of the state. Created by newly established Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation under its commissioner, Babagana Mustapha, the portal is to generate a database that will contain educational and professional expertise of all categories of citizens for the purpose of identifying potentials for employment at the federal, state, local government and private sector levels as well as create opportunities for capacity development and entrepreneurship.

Preliminary checks revealed that the soft spoken Abbas Musa is the youngest ever Northerner to achieve this score. It would be recalled that Gimba Kakanda, a social media influencer and an Op-ed columnist with Aljazeera, Premium times and dailyNigerian scored 7.5 band sometimes last year.
