The government hate any move that will revolt against her. I wonder how could a businessman joint such a high risk protest. Oga Ahib (possibly the one in black and white) need our collective prayers. He is the second most influential contributor in this thread.

Jayjaycee18: Advanced Micro Devices ($AMD) seems undervalued at current price or below. From 3Q2020, HP and Lenovo will start including AMD processors in their new PCs.
Also, AMD has gained market share from INTELS and NVIDIA and it's making new chips to serve both the Server (for NVIDIA et al) and Gaming industries (i.e. the new Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5). Besides, demand in the Gaming industry has been boosted by the covid-19 lockdown.
I'm long on this one and got in yesterday ahead of its 2Q2020 earnings report on July 28. As always, DD is required.
Bonne chance!!!. Your research is excellent. AMD is the new love for now! |

US stocks are more volatile compared to Nigerian stocks. Imagine, gaining over 200% by a penny stock in a single trading day.

Tobex4realTobex234: It's not even wise for anyone to be betting on the U.S stocks of today. For lack of better words, it's downright dumb.
Most stocks are at an ATH. Even the SPY index fund $VOO is at an all time. Unemployment is skyrocketing, yet stocks are at an All Time High. Even 2 months ago, Trump tweeted that Tesla stock price was very high in his opinion, at that time price was just about $700. How is anyone thinking the current US market isn't devoid of fundamentals?
People that lost millions of dollars buying Hertz and Akorn are yet to recover. It was Elon Must that tweeted about Tesla share price being too high almost 2 months ago. |

ahiboilandgas: So i was not convinced that such money will come out from such markets ...so i got taking with a friend that own a stall inside the biggest textile markets in West africa ....is it possible to have person with capital base of 500m inside their markets ... There are many billionaires in Kwari market. Mudassir can never make the top 50 richest in the market 10 years ago, but today, he must be among the top 10 active players. He is living in my locality at Gorondutse, his residential building could worth 200m. Heard he is building a textile mall in Abuja, have in Kaduna and almost 10 in Kano. Kwari market in Kano, can easily transform someone struggling into a billionaire overnight as Chinese were banned to operate shops there. So, if Chinese found you trustworthy as a market player, they will be sending containers of textiles to you, your commission is per piece of a textile sold. |

GODPUNISHUNA: This is the problem with marrying someone from a poor home and trust me when i say over 90% of these girls are.
Once you get married to them they move all their family responsibilities over to you. Beware of leeches It's not about marrying from poor or rich family it's an attitude. The husband is punishing her parent for extorting during the marriage. |

koonbey: Lol, you'd be surprised to find that not everyone's mindset is in 2020.
If you check through this thread about a year ago, you'll see how people were insisting it had to be banks or nothing for T-bill investment, despite I-Invest offering significantly better terms, much more flexibility and some of us taking the time to conduct due diligence in the company and show the documentation of the firm. People were even saying we were sponsored to promote I-Invest. I didn't mind until the day someone asked if I had ever been to their office to confirm that they were actually there . That was the day I gave up.
Edit:
I just checked and laughed again. See pages ~824 - 828 for the I-Invest drama. I'm really enjoying doing tbills with i-invest. I wish they can come with other investment vehicles like us stocks, commercial papers, fgn bond, sukuk bond etc. |
