Adejal: I would enjoin those that haven't seen their names to continue checking the website. I've been checking the portal since yesterday my name was not there just now I tried to re-login and to my surprise I found my name, though I still don't think I'll be present for the test as I have prof. exams that day. I too will be writing my final stage of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria between Monday till Wednesday. But, I have made up my mind that I will go for NSCDC test because I can still rewrite the paper of that day for another diet. |

KevUnique: Bro, it's not really true that you would get to be travelling out. It depends on the capacity in which the person is serving. The department matters most. My late father was a director General in that ministry and that's why he was always out of the country on so called official duties every month (even thought I didn't see him do much by himself ) So as an entry level personnel, I don't think you will be getting to jet around abroad on official duties yet. Till after years of ascending the ladder of the hierarchy. But it's a good office to work in. It doesn't require much technical-know-how from its workers. So long you know current affairs and you get eyes to watch tv and you are not living under a rock. Besides, some roles are just to carry files and go drop them on some ogas deask at 8 am. If I see a slot, me I will take it. But I won't pay nothing much jor. When I'm looking for money even. It's funny , this is coming from me who has had connections in that ministry in the past and I'm supposed to have ways of being fixed into the system but see its not even possible for me now. That's life for us..When dad die go, no one remembers you again. That's why I kind of like northerners for their bond and the way they favour themselves. Sorry for the loss. Thanks for the piece. |

Heryormilekan: Good morning Op,
In my own opinion, I will advice him to buy the job provided is a federal job for job security purposes and he must also have residual in account just in case things go south (GOD forbid), but if he has others means of learning a business his personate about, believe me that's the best way to go. Aptly! There are some agencies work that your monthly salary is minimum of 250k above for an entry level position and it will even give you time to venture into business. As I said earlier, depends on individual. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Will You Look For A Job Slot To Buy With 500k-700k Or Invest In Business by Ibrahim94(m): 7:28am On Oct 22, 2020 |
If it's an agency job in Federal government and the slot is very genuine, I won't think twice in paying 500k to 700k to get it. But depends on individual wants. |

Paramilitaryisb: Me I don't know if it's recruitment list o abi replacement but I sha know say dem compile list within the last 3weeks. I receive 3 calls to that effect on same NIS/NSCDC but I cannot ask questions which is which. I heard it's replacement but let's watch and see.
Note: I no know anybody just the normal hustle and bustle. My advice is that we all should keep reaching out, we can never know who will have us in mind. Please is it through call or mail they are going to send to the people that makes the list for replacement or when should someone be expecting from them? Your view will be well appreciated. Thanks. |

2:2 is not a bad grade at all, I have a friend with such grade from federal University. After her NYSC program she went ahead for her MSC program in Arts discipline. She is currently working in ECOWAS parliament in Abuja.
All what you need is prayers, commitments and network. This country is more than grade for someone to get a juicy job.
Pls...go ahead for your MSC.
My 10 cents. |
