Please, I stand to be corrected, is it a guarantee of employment if a Senator who happens to be a member or chairman of committee submitted someone's CV under his or her Agency or Ministry?

I need more views on this.

So ive being calling my senator for sometime bt he doesn't pick neither those he reply my WhatsApp chats. So I woke up this morning and decided to send him an SMS and a WhatsApp chat and hence he knows my father personally I told him I'm my father's son. I pleaded with him that I'm seriously looking for gainful employment, to my greatest surprise he replied by saying I shod send him my CV.

Please you really need prayer to make his assistance a reality.

A senator collected my credentials in the middle of last year and up till now I am still optimistic of God's favor from the Man as regards to a better Federal govt. Job.

This is the senator I always see once in a week and also knew his house within my estate. His excuse now is that if not CONVID I would have gotten a job through him.

What I am trying to point out here is that, no matter the promised just pray fervently and continue to remind him or her because people are many seeking for senator's help for job.

Together with some items. According to him, he didn't even apply for the job. But it's either a lie or he has a really strong connect. Either way, I just thought I should share

Don't think twice. With your BSC, you will get a rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police(one star) with basic salary of 120k above.

Burning your certificates isn't the final solution to your predicaments. Keep the certificates aside first and go out of your comfort to hussle. When doing your hussling job, try as much as possible to network with a big men or women and politician that you know they can be of help to you rather staying in your comfort home and Wait till sun shine on you.

To get a good job in Nigeria now boil down to networking and soliciting for an assistance. Develop yourself with a marketable skills. By so doing, pray fervently and fast to your God.

Having your HOR is not enough for this recruitment because of the numbers they want to take is not much as for the graduate position. All you have to be doing is to continue to pray fervently for you to be among the successful candidates at the end.

As for me, I have a ranking senator and a two stars NAVY general as my links based in Abuja. But then, I am still fasting and praying for my name to be among the lucky ones.

You can work as administrative officer, Human resources officer, Program Officer, Tax administrator, Pension administrator be it a government establishment, NGO, private firm or a multinational company

Above all, look for strong link if you want to work in a good federal government agency.

Any job in ministry of interior (Prison service, immigration, custom, fire service, civil defense etc)
the minimum is 300k even with ordinary SSCE level, with Degree and HND is far beyond that so don't come here and lie.

True! I knew of someone that paid 650k for the last federal fire service recruitment with his BSC. He is now an Officer at their headquarters in Abuja.

Please is there any hope if someone is lucky to be among the senator's slot for either civil defence or immigration?

Depends on the senator, if you have a letter of recommendation from a senator, ensure he directs you to someone in the agency or parastatal he's referring you to. Letter of recommendation alone doesn't hold water.

Thou, he didn't give my recommendation letter. But, anytime I see him in my estate or call him, he do tell me he has included my name among his candidates for job slots.

I guess these paramilitary outfits are easier for Lawmakers to get someone into. I think they're given legit slots to fill in their constituents. Any idea?
