Porous borders? Virtually all African countries except maybe north have porous borders too.
I didn't say so, SAMP which is SADC project said so.
No. SA is like London because of beautiful roads, shopping malls e.t.c.
So you are saying innocent Nigerians have not been killed before? That all the people killed are "criminals"?
A million? The number of Nigerians in SA is not up to 500,000. Show me your source that said there are a million Nigerians in SA.
So at the end of the day, they were attacked because reporting them to the police was futile, And the same police were conveniently overlooked and spared when Nigerians are been attacked. SMH. |

TMKsouth: NL threads in general are anti-SA. There's a concerted demonization of black S. Africans in Nigeria that needs sorting out asap. Just like saffer's media is anti Africa? Especially Nigeria? (even though it's not deliberate, the damage is already done) I read this report titled "Southern Africa Migration Report". According to them, one of the reasons why saffers are xenophobic is the negative report African countries get by SA's media. Especially Nigeria. Nairaland can give you the wrong perception about how Nigerians think of SA. Before the recent xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in SA, most Nigerians are of the opinion that SA is a beautiful country, "Our" own London in Africa,(there was even an article on BBC about how Nigerians view SA and vice versa) very proud of it, a survey of Nigerians found out that after US and UK, SA is the country most Nigerians will like to visit. Just look at it from our perspective; A country we like and adored, a country we look at and say "at least one of us (African) can get their sh#t right, only for you to be attacked when you get there. Nobody likes to be rejected. (and some Nigerians do not really help matters with their activities over there) That said, Nigeria's media coverage of SA is still mostly positive, some Nigerians are still of that opinion too. Just here the oohs and aahs when we played in j'Borg last month only for someone to break the bubble with "that's the country where Nigerians are being killed", the mood was dampened after that. And I thought white saffers are more demonized than blacks? |

rvp2018: By now you should know I don't lie so take that as prima facie evidence and start the Google research. I've made my research and it shows that the number of Nigerian students in US alone almost triple that of Kenya, which is why I am asking for your source, maybe it's different from mine. |

rvp20183: Why not research.Until recently we had more students at us universities than Nigeria..but we fixed our education. As of now we mostly beat you at IVYs. You made the claim, provide the source! |

rvp20183: Do your research and try again to tag along the Azanias. They hate you arse more than they hate white folks. We were first Africans to fight for indepedences. We fought the British.Leave that in East Africa and maybe west Africa we resisted Colonial rule the longest. That is why our flag has red color to denote the blood we shed to kick the Brits .Many armed resistance took inspiration from our fights including ANC.British never thought much would come of Nigeria and gave it up without one single shot.60yrs later and they were right. Britain did not give up without a fight, it's just not a physical one. While some African countries were busy "fighting" for independence, Nigeria was using diplomatic means to secure independence, showing maturity right from the onset. Do not try to rewrite history. You can read more on the matter of you want. |

rvp20183: Read that again. We are sending more kids to best universities worldwide than more popolous Nigeria...let not even talk per capital. That how Obama's and Lupitas emerges from. Here again with per capita, China is the most populous country in the world, yet it does have the highest number of students outside. Now hope you can prove what you just said? How many Kenyans are studying abroad? |

rvp20183: You lie too much.Kenya has no minerals but you're sweating.Where do you think our strength lies in.It lies in a very good strong education.Despite our population we beat you in kids we are sending to American IVYs.We are nurture brains and you're exporting thugs. Say that again? |

Kenyan Banks are so innovative and competitive but SA banks are among the biggest in Kenya?
No foreign bank is among the top 10 biggest in Nigeria.
Nigerian banks have won the innovative awards in Africa.
Five Nigerian banks have been named among global 1000. FIVE!
Nigerian banks are running at loss over there? At least they are there. How many multinational bank can you boast of?
Nigerian Banks are represented from UK to US, from China to SA, how many Kenyan Banks have representative office in Europe or Asia? |

jln115: Well if honesty is what you want let me lay it out for you:
You are the definition of a hypocrite. You intentionally post provocative content one this forum to solicit a response from specifically SAn members of this thread, when they do respond you are the first to play victim.
Fact is if we really wanted to we could have posted (unprovoked) many photos, videos and other content of the many many failings of the Nigerian defence force, we could've posted shot down planes and attack helicopters, killed soldiers, destroyed NA vehicles, videos of NA soldiers running away, news articles of Nigerian army bases captured by rag tag rebels(that's BH BTW) ect ect.........yet we don't out of respect for this thread.
Just an example: You post a picture of entangled SA paratroopers(Which was very interesting btw) Frum responds by how their training kicked in and they were able to untangle themselves thanks to their training, Nigerians respond with laughing emojies , asked why they are laughing YOU(even though you were not mentioned) respond by saying it's because of incompetence.....obliviously SAn respond and you play victim. Please do. Last I checked, this is African military and security thread, pictures and videos, good or bad are welcome. Nigerians have posted videos, pictures, articles @ bolded part. We do not post pictures that make our military look good. except videos of Nigerian soldiers running away, please don't be stingy, share. Bidexii is the only Nigerian who responded with a laughing emoji. When did he became Nigerians@frumentius Xbee already called him out, I see no reason why we should all gang up on him. @ssengine Please use less provocative words next time. You always come across as hostile. Your reply to bidexii's laughing emoji was inappropriate, you could have explained what the picture meant straight away like frumentius did but no you have to sound condescending first. |
